They have a great customer service, people there is very helpful, and you dont have to wait until monday to sell your scrap because they work on sundays too
We have a lot of metals, this place is the one you need to know to sell all your materials. They mostly busy but Prices are good and customer service is fast.

I like this place. convenient hours, easy in and out, I didn't have to wait for Monday, you can get your money without long wait. You get your money fast no lines at the cashier most of the time.

If they find one missmatche metal they will call it mixed and underpay you 3 times less. You have to completely strip yoir stuff, even if its 1 or 2 bolts on a 100 pound device. Be aware!!
I arrived before closing time at 6pm.
I arrived at 5:48pm came from far and they close they already close the gate. The guy says that’s what time they close everyday . If that’s the case change your closing sign to 5:48pm
They are thieves.. we had a truck load of shutters, car engine parts, steel posts for 2 extra large tents and miscellaneous items.. got $144!!!! Don't go to this place. They will under pay ... they are thieves!!!
Pretty good scrap yard. I go here because of their employee Oscar, he is AMAZING!! Always so helpful and friendly. He is very smart, he definitely knows he's stuff.
I've been going there for a bit now at first I wasn't sure what to expect but in time everyone is helpful prices mite not be the best but it beats waiting in long lines and have to hold on till Monday to scrap so I give it a 5 star.
Update - better than ever if youve got a full wallet and don't mind a few beggars out front. Lock your vehicle!
Prices hopefully have bottomed out. I've slowed down big time on my scrapping because 100 a ton isn't worth the gas, wear and tear, time spent cruising, and of course the screws and nails that you always pick up at the yard.
Do not I repeat do not do business with this place EVERYTHING is lowest quality…..impolite attitude…..most of all the worse prices probably in America……this establishment is a complete rip off! Scam
This piece is a complete rip off. Do not do business with them. They take advantage of you because of their hours of operations. I had a buck of wire and they did not pay for them. They put the metal under tin. If you can hold your item and go to a junk yard that will pay. I tried them not listening to reviews but never again. DO not support this place. Let them shut down. Never again will I go there.
Received good customer service and friendly staff. Payout was fairly quick. Good prices. Only complaint is the tiny amount of parking lot they have to get in and out to unload.
Poor business practices, They paid me for tin instead of steel. ~25% difference in price

Sold them 6063 aluminum .. was given $0.30 a pound. Average is $0.45.. they weigh it and remove it from the scale super fast , so kind of hard to ask for it back when you realize they are screwing you... I thought he told me 0.45 on the phone .. well, next time I will go somewhere else... typical south Florida way of doing buisness
This scrap yard is the cheapest around. If you have to use them, only do so on the weekends and late evenings when everything else is closed. Other than the spanish lady always making mistakes and over paying...its not worth the money.
Hours are great but only give u a dollar a lb for insulated copper and 1.90 for bare it’s not a good deal capital scrap has a better deal and they’re not far away the only reason I went there was because their hours!
The main selling point of this place are the opening times- very convenient, unlike most other places. Otherwise not too bad, but there are some of the bad issues you find at most other places. When you bring a 13 pound piece of aluminum with with way less than a 1/4 oz little rusty screws in it and you get paid for ferrous AL- please. And they could clean the place where people drive their vehicles- not a good deal having to spend $135.- for a new tire after getting $ 13.50 for scrap. But compared to the rest, still 4 stars.
Stumbled upon their website and saw that they offer free pickup. I decided to give a call as we needed two old appliances taken away. The representative explained that because it's a pickup they would not be able to pay me for the metal. I agreed and he said someone would be out by the end of the day. No one showed up, called again the next day and same promise, not only that but they added a $20 gas fee because I live a bit farther away. I agreed to the fee yet no one showed up or even bothered to call me. Waste of time.
I first went there in 2012, never had any issues. I'm an electrician and stop by a couple times a month to scrap copper wire from demolitions, ect. Open Sunday which is good for me, cant always make it during week or Sat. Might get a couple cents more per pound elsewhere but for convienence and open Sundays Im not sweatin 2 or 3$
One of the only ones that open on sundays,plus the pay its good too,I have never been mistreated .I think jelous companies that wants you to wait until monday for you to gp to their company are the ones making bad ratings and comments.
My first experience with a company is very important to me. When I called to ask about scrapping my old tub, I was abruptly told, "No prices over the phone," I was confused so I repeated what he said, then he repeated, "Yeah, no prices over the phone." Now I don't know how this whole scapping thing works, maybe that's the norm, I don't know. I decided to call the next company, American Scrap Alloy Metal. A guy named Howard answered the phone. I could tell he was extremely busy but I still asked how much is given for cast iron. Not only did he give me an answer, but he named two other places where I could probably get a better deal for the iron. He proceeded to explain that certain scrap yards give more for different metals and that his scrap yard does better with aluminum. Now that is how customer service works.
