I called Luis about my dodge ram 1500 thinking i had a computer issue he could of sold me on a computer I did not need he ended up sending me to a long time freind of his by the name of Ronnie both gentlemen we're extremely professional extremely helpful and I fixed the problem myself for free I couldn't be more happier to have my vehicle back and I saved hundreds possibly thousands on repairs parts ect. Very trustworthy guys I would totally recommend

This company is a scam. I sent in my car computer to be fixed and when it came back the car would not start. In the Add they promised free shipping and a 14 day money back guarantee. On my invoice they charged an unauthorized amount for shipping. They lied multiple times telling me they had refunded me which they never did. I am writing this to warn others to be very aware of doing business with this outfit.

I sent my ECM to them at the beginning of July for repair. For three months I got nothing but the runaround—multiple phone calls with the same excuses about a change in management and being told to “call back Monday.” Each time they claimed they were working on it or would get to it, but nothing was ever done. After all that wasted time, they finally admitted they weren’t going to repair it and just sent it back. Extremely unprofessional and horrible customer service. At all cost avoid this company! Sent a PCM in with a note in the box name,address,etc… Waited like a month never heard anything so I called and they had no clue where my PCM was then made up some BS and said my PCM was un repairable so I payed 400 something dollars for a reman. Got it after another month that I had to call and remind him to mail it out. Then the PCM was no good. So I mailed it back to him and it’s like dejavu I’m getting the same BS responses about not knowing where the PCM is I have to re introduce my self after every phone call it’s been a month now and nothing has changed still waiting on a PCM

I have as well asked for a refund on 2 PCM's and have also written a formal complaint. When the company was owned by previous owner there were no issues at all. I just made another phone call today and was hung up on by the owner of the company. It has been over six months since months and I was told that accounting was behind.

Potential Auto Repair Shop Customers Beware This company is under new management/ownership — Richard is out — and unfortunately the new owners/operators do not seem to know how to run a legitimate business. I’ve been a customer for nearly 10 years, and in the past, any issues I had were resolved. Recently, I ordered a new ECM for a BMW. The computer never worked, and I was instructed to send both the new ECM and my original ECM back for resolution. I did — and never heard back. Multiple follow-ups went nowhere. They eventually claimed to have lost both computers. The last three calls with “Louis,” the older gentleman who answers the phone, were spent mostly trying to remind him of what we were talking about — a complete waste of time and effort. I am now out two computers, $750, shipping costs, and any hope of customer support.

Beware- These guys will rip you off. I had purchased a computer for a Dodge Ram Van from this company in 2018, and it worked just the way it should. When I sold that vehicle and bought another of the same model in 2019, I bought a backup computer form Louis to have with me, in case the one on board failed as the last one had. ( I travel far, and always carry an extra alternator, starter, water pump, all belts, etc. . . for this Class B RV in case something breaks down) Last month (03/2025), I sold this vehicle, and had this spare computer- which I had purchased for $350 from Louis through this company. I called him and told him that I had this computer, and he told me to send it back to him and he would buy it back. So I sent it to him. I heard nothing for two weeks. I called and they told me repeatedly that he was out to lunch. I finally spoke to him once on the phone. . . he was very elusive, and said he would call me back later. Now he refuses to answer when I call, and he won't call me back. They robbed me, and won't correspond with me. In the case of a few bucks, it wouldn't matter, but I paid him $350 dollars for this item, and at HIS request I returned it only to be robbed. Do NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Do not purchase anything from this company. They lied about working on my computer (in writing by the way), and then refused to return it to me. I've asked in writing several times because they don't return calls. Keep your property away from these thieves. They sell on ebay and they use the ebay system and policy in a dishonest way to avoid refunds and or returning your unit. They told ebay they shipped the unit back by providing them OUR TRACKING NUMBER (from us to them). To get our refund we had to show ebay the following conversation we had via ebay, where they are telling us they are still working on it. They still have my unit and I am sure they will sell it. God's watching!

I'ts amazing to me how companies like this can remain in business. They should get 5 stars for marketing because the product they put out, and the customer service is absolute garbage. I recieved an old beat up PCM that was spray painted with Rust-Oleum, and wouldn’t even start my truck. I returned it and was reimbursed 1/2 of the money. These folks are crooks.

They are thieves, they will send you computers that won’t work, you will have to pay for the return shipping and still you won’t get your money back. I ordered a computer back in October, received it with in a week and it had codes, I returned it for an exchange, received the second one two weeks later, plugged it in and also had codes, they told me to return it but I had to pay for the shipping. They received it and said I had to wait for a month to get my refund, it’s been two months now and no refund. I told the owner I ended up buying one at the local dealership so he wanted proof that I did in order to get my refund, I text him pictures of the receipt and still didn’t give me my money back. Forget the 14 money back guarantee like it says on there website. I’ve kept on calling them and they either cuz you out, hang up on you, give you the run around saying they will work on it or they told the bookkeeper about it but it’s all lies, it’s been 3 months since I payed for it and just won’t give me my money back. BEWER BUYERS !!!

We found them on Ebay. Paid. Then had a heart attack and nothing was ever exchanged. They did post a bogus tracking number to close the transaction, even though it never happened. When I was able to contact them, they refused to refund because it was after 90 days, but said if they could, they would. EBay gave permission for them to refund via PayPal and now they are ghosting me. EBay is getting their back office involved for a manual refund. But ethically, I think this company stinks.

I have tried several times to call and left messages. I ordered a PCM for my 2011 dodge grand caravan had my vehicle in the shop because the pcm I ordered ended up being faulty. I just want a refund. Very upset. It apparently won't let me add another review but I'm wondering if ANYONE received their refund? Because Lisa and Lewis lied to me I should've been refunded already for a faulty part they gave me!! Nobody go to them!! It is now July 11th over 30 days like they told me and now Lisa just told me yesterday there is NOTHING they can do. I paid over $800! I have children to provide for.

Thanks to Richard at auto computer exchange my 96 grand cherokee is running. I bought this jeep from a lot that had been sitting a little over 2 years. I heard the jeep run 2 years ago but that's it. Fast forward I determined the Reman chrysler pcm was bad. Bought a used pcm from a salvage yard in Miami to no avail. Went to a vendor I've been doing business with off and on for years. I sprung for the upgraded pcm. Week's passed no response or we'll have it ready only to no avail. Frustrated d I reached out to Richard and paid for a replacement PCM. as I waited I got nervous looking at the reviews. He reassured me and it came to my front door preprogrammed. I followed his directions. The rest is history, I put 300 miles on the cherokee. The jeep runs flawless. I recommend auto computer exchange. Follow Richard's instructions and you'll be back in business. It was painless, just have your Vin ready.

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with these people. They talk big but can’t provide any service at all. Rebuilt 2 computers for a 2006 Ram 2500 with 5.9 Cummins. First one they sent to me the truck ran 15-20 seconds then died and would not start back. The second one showed up programmed for the wrong year and vin number. Needless to say it would not work either. Sent both back with tracking. Lisa in the office made out that they never received them back. Once informed I had the tracking show they had been signed for she went off on me. She told me that they would refund my money but it would take 2-3 billing cycles before they would do it. I had to call American Express to get refund. Lisa is a real piece of **** and rude.

I would NOT recommend Auto Computer Exchange (Also goes by NEAT) I sent my ECU to this company and they sent it back in 1 day saying there was nothing wrong. (money wasted) This caused me to think it was something else with the car and did 3 days worth of trouble shooting only to believe it was the ECU again. I sent my ECU to a different company in FL (Nation Wide) and they did a COMPLETE diagnosis and repair. When I got my ECU back from them the car performed flawlessly and even had some things fixed that I was unaware were ECU Related.

I found this company on eBay and decided to give them a call. They referred me to a second phone number where I was greeted by a gentleman named Richard. I explained to him the situation with my 2008 Dodge Ram Cummins I provided him the VIN number and the necessary information. He told me to send my computer in and the following day a re programmed computer with my VIN will be shipped with tracking information. Needless to say I'm sitting here January Friday the 13th no communication from Richard no tracking information to prove the computer has been sent. Now I have no computer in my truck I'm out $795 and I have a dead truck. My bank has been notified, eBay has been notified for doing business outside of eBay which is against eBay's policy. As far as I'm concerned this business is a scam and I want all future potential buyers to stay away from these people. Buyers beware you will regret doing business with these people. Richard you did me wrong. The company does not need people like you.

I sent a computer to this place over a month ago, shipped it overnight. Was told it would be done and shipped back the following few days as advertised. No luck whatsoever. Tried calling and leaving messages, no response. Just called again and lady said she would call me back tomorrow because she doesn't know what went wrong and that it is an old order. They had no problem taking my money, my next calls will be to the fraud department at my bank, the Better Business Bureau to open a fraudulent case. I have been more than patient. To Auto Computer Exchange, If you would like me to revise this review, fix this problem immediately and once I receive my computer back, I will delete. Otherwise if this post is still up, I warn you not to do business with this place.

Terrible customer support. It's so hard to get someone on the phone . Especially Lisa. She is rude, disrespectful, talk over you, hung up on you, will not return phone calls. Left multiple voicemails and no call back. Part did not work, was told by her to return it for a refund (she did not offer a replacement). Sent it back, they got in June, still no refund. Had to file a dispute to get my money back. Ended up buying an ECM with FS1 and so far it's been running great. This company seems a little shady so buyer beware

Been doing business with this company for over 12 years. Not exactly what went wrong here. I was sent a total of four computers for the same vehicle. All of them having different issues. I was told one thing after another. Everytime I called I was told a different reason for failures. I quickly lost trust in them. They kept telling me I would get my money back, but they never gave me a good computer or my money back. To owners reply; sorry not this time. I bought a computer from Cardone truck runs great now.

I drove here from Tampa and walked in with my Ford PCM. They had me diagnosed and fixed in under an hour with warranty. They expedite customers with part in hand. It was well worth the drive, luckily I have a second vehicle. I didn't have time to mail it in and wait for a return.

To the owner hold a customer service class and change your policies have your people learn how to call customers back. I had to call there 15 times in a week and a half to finally get told you can do nothing for me . Policy change start billing cores or telling the customers when ordering that you need to send the core back instead of us having to read your fine print seems like alot of bad reviews because of that then I asked if I could pay to get defective unit rebuilt while its there and you say its digital we cant rebuild it then why do you need the core back? we are a big company and I will be spreading the news to not use your services ohh and all of this is true since you like to say its untrue all the time

Great fast service. They did a total rebuild on the EEC IV controller for a 1990 Mustang GT with 5 speed manual transmission. Everything was done. Put it in & it worked flawlessly. Just been in a couple of days, but this is the second controller I got from them. Richard was a great guy to work with. Explained everything that they did in detail (if I had not had a degree in electrical engineering & 55 years of Auto service experience he probably would not have). I also asked for the 1 year warranty. This was a rebuild of a hard to find controller.

BUYER BEWARE-GO ELSEWHERE!!! ACE your invoice stats that you can return item within 14 days with restocking fee. Keep in mind this is not what was communicated to me by any of your employees. Restocking fee was never mentioned and photo with my missing signature is added to show I did see invoice until item arrived. When purchasing computer I asked about their return policy, was told 100% refund within 2 weeks of purchase. The paperwork when shipped say 25% restocking with a place for customer to sign. I was never shown this document before purchase. 1 week after purchase my vehicle was in accident and total loss. I called them and asked if I could get 100% refund, Lisa in accounting said absolutely. 3 weeks later refund received minus 25%. Find a more credible business to purchase your computer from.

Bought a computer last January it is having problems. Paid for a 2 yesr warranty, company will not honor the warranty they sold me, and now when I call they hang up on me or send me to voicemail. Lisa in customer support even told me I had to stop calling. Scam artists!!!!! I do have a copy of ny invoice, they saw it in their system first time I called. Nothing but lies and deceit. Now the same unit I paid 199 for last year thet want 599 for. Scam alert! One employee says it will be exchanged, another says they will have to repair it. But either way I have to ship my defective unit to them first. I paid for a 2 year additional overnight exchange warranty.

I Started the transaction around 10-15--2019 and it has went down hill from there my computer i sent them they told me after second time they worked on it that it was no good so they suggested i buy one of there's which i did and they are telling me that this computer is no good and it came from them and now don't want to warranty or refund. I had purchased 2 other computer's in interim for different trucks and they worked fine but now they are showing there true color's. After reading there reviews i wished that i had done that first. Looks like there warranty policies have a lot to be desired. Feel free to call me with any questions. look up there warranty reviews.
