I scheduled a pickup with the office girl Christine is think she said her name was. She informed me of a pick up window between 11 to 3. I waited all day and took off work Specifically for this to happen. Around 4 o'clock I called many times. When she finally answered she said that she never spoke to me and was extremely rude. I was calm and polite when speaking to her and she was snarky and defensive acting. Did not offer to reschedule me. I ended up calling a different company and took less than the offer from Scrapys. I dealt with them months ago and had no problem with the receptionist at that time and the pickup was smooth. Please speak to your receptionist and tell her how to perform quality customer service. Thank you.
I sold my car to Scrapys through Peddle. The Lady I spoke with, Ms.Jill did an awesome job of communicating clearly and thoroughly and she was very friendly, kind and professional. She was sure to make sure of what time and day I wanted the vehicle gone and she even made sure to tell me when the driver was on his way. The driver was also friendly and was very time efficient in picking up my vehicle. If I had to scrap a vehicle again or anything like that I would definitely consider Scrapys and would recommend it to others as well based on my experience.
They responded rather fast about my car, came to pick it up as well as drop off the money to my job location! Wasn’t the BEST price I was offered “off by like only 80/100$” but everything else made up for it ! Appreciate this company for the assist of getting rid of my car!
Great experience! Office staff was a pleasure to work with. The driver was efficient, thoughtful, and professional. Went above an beyond. He moved the garbage bins I forgot about and even offered me a spot on his shirt to wipe the fingerprint ink off my finger!
I had an arranged pick up for my car between 7am-11am. An hour after my scheduled pickup time I still have not heard back from a driver or from the company. Multiple calls to the number provided lead only to a voicemail box that was full. Calling about 30 different times I finally got ahold of someone. After asking for an updated pickup time the worker laughed and began telling me how they are going to have to reschedule. After expressing that I’ve already waited a week and the car could no longer be parked at the current location they began telling me to look at other places around my area.
Extremely unprofessional to have a full inbox on a phone that you never pick up. No call to let me know they were having issues, they were not proactive about this at all. If you can find a different scrapyard please do! Reading other reviews this isn’t the first time they have pulled this stunt and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Stay away!!!
I had a vehicle picked up a couple weeks ago and everything went super smoothly. The driver was very nice and the dispatcher was nice too, think her name was Jill, and she kept me updated the whole time. 5 stars, will be recommending to my friends
Thankfully karma has no deadline. The offer and the amount given were way off base. Supposedly no catalytic converter which magically disappeared when they saw my son was doing the transaction on my behalf since I was at work. This company is a POS and when it is served back to you and the driver who lied to my son I hope you all stop ripping people off! Mailbox being full is indicative of overall negligence. Thanks a lot for swindling someone once you saw you had an opportunity to low ball hope it was worth it.
I am selling my junk car through peddle and got assigned scrappys for pick up. I called out of work to make sure I could be home. The pick up window was from 11am-3pm , at 2 pm I got a call that they weren’t coming. I wasted my day. I believe her name was Jill, she started asking me questions and I explained the car situation. It’s a full working car with no title so that’s why it’s junk only. That car is not to be used. She told me she had a beat up Nissan Altima and would just put her license plate from that car onto my rav4 since her car was no good. I explained this car is not to be used. That would be illegal and would bring me unnecessary problems. I immediately canceled everything. I need to make sure that the company that gets this car understands that even though it works, to use it with a random license plate would be illegal. I’m not risking it nor taking any chances.
Scrapy's auto salvage was quick, polite and on time. One phone call to verify appointment, one call that they were on there way to get my car, and ready with my cash for my title. Quick. & Done.
The service from beginning to end was fast, courteous, & professional. I called other salvage locations but they weren’t nearly as responsive. Scrapys administrative assistant was very knowledgeable regarding my vehicle. The business was very responsive to all my questions, they were immediate, & took all the hassle off of my shoulders. Upon arrival the driver was very kind, professional, and respectful. My kids even liked him. Definitely not his first rodeo. I highly recommend this company.
Wonderful experience! The driver was very pleasant and efficient. I was paid in cash on the spot. Whole appointment took less than 5 minutes.
I accidentally left my license plate on my car, the dispatcher very kindly offered to mail it to me. 5 stars!
If I could give more stars I would: from the office staff to the tow truck operators - through and through, they're the pinnacle of professionalism. Wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend these guys/gals.
