working at LKQ Melbourne gave me a chance to see what happenes to our cars after they are JUNKED no longer usible. I love the fact that they are helping the environment by making their best effort to Resycle. The work environment is actually cool. Great music Jams playing as the sounds of hammers forklifts and birds chirping . They have a Bird Family that has a Huge nest there, and it make the day of hard work feel a lot better.
Terrible operation. I placed an order over the phone for a fuel tank, and was told it would be ready the next day. The phone rep literally told “it’s a good one”. I live about an hour away. When I arrived at LKQ the next day, I waited nearly three hours for them to get the part. I was told they had the part, and it would be ready soon. After nearly three hours, the rep came out told me the part they had was no good. They wasted my whole day. Additionally, while I was waiting in the office, I could hear the phone sales reps talking to their customers, in incredibly rude manners. I assume they would mute the phone, and repeatedly use curse words to describe their customers. It’s very telling of how they view their customers. Shop elsewhere.
Very bad customer service they don't have any time for a little guy come to find a lot of collision shop use they part Gerber ect... and charge you the over price fee. This place is Greedy its a pull part that charges high for junk parts. Try Amazon. First, you will come out 100 percent better this place. Don't respect your dollar
