So happy to have Advance Auto Parts!!! It's a place you can go to all hours of the day and night, they have almost anything you would need for your car, so many parts in stock, always someone there who's very knowledgeable to help you with in-store purchases and then they also are very good about putting the parts on your car. It simplifies a difficult process and makes it so convenient and everybody is always so helpful there and goes out of their way to do everything they can to get your car back in working order. It's just so wonderful
Tristan was super nice and helpful he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and understood what was wrong with my car, then even helped me find a tow home when I was feeling overwhelmed.
Needed to have battery checked, as it was starting "rough". Had the pleasure of having John assist me by checking the battery. As it turned out, all was well, issue just due to colder temperatures in the weather. When the time comes for a replacement, I'll be taking my business to John. Thank you for the excellent service!!!
Expensive. Very limited customer service. They paid no mind to me when I walked in. You would think young men would be professional and courteous to help out a woman walking around the store for thirty minutes. They were clueless.

There’s many choices in the vicinity of this store but this store should be your choice! Keep in mind though, I have not been to the others. When I called I was concerned because my car was not starting, starting slow…when I called, a nice friendly guy answered and assured me he would help!! Tristan came and showed me everything!! I definitely needed a new battery!! I was in and out in no time!! He was knowledgeable and so personable!! I’ll definitely go back when needed!!
Advance auto parts Merritt Island has always been my favorite place to go and today they win again I stopped in, and Robert was the only guy that knew how to open the trunk to my van that was stuck I have asked several other people how to do this two other shops, and no one could give me the answer Robert you are the man the people here at advanced auto are amazing. I have never had a problem with them they are helpful they are kind and knowledgeable. Your staff is amazing.
I have always used advanced auto parts in Merritt Island. Always very friendly service . Rodney at the store today was so helpful . While he couldn't add the freon can stuff for me . He showed me what to buy and explained the differences to me . He took the time to help me and explain. Even walked out to car to make sure I was getting correct size hose. I just did exactly what he said ( which was exactly what directions said ) I now have my AC blowing cold air. I can't thank him enough . He didn't talk down to me or make me feel like I couldn't handle the task. Thank You Rodney ?
I'm thankful they had my brake shoes in stock. The place I went to first said they had them but didn't. No fun when you're riding around with no brakes
Had to drive across town to another store . Young people not that knowledgeable about cars but i must be honest good with the computer. Better than Napa. Went there 3 times to buy a locking gas cap for a ford f150 with a teather. Finally gave up got one on the internet first try..
I had a great experience couldn't ask for more professional staff or more helpful people behind the counter. I had to return to make which was done without any fuss or complaint. The staff were knowledgeable and willing to take the time to research the part with me. Definitely recommend this store and the staff to anybody looking for automotive parts or supplies.
Check engine light popped on so we stopped into Advance to have it checked. The technician was very helpful. They gave us the code and said it was the evap coil. Then they gave us the tip to clean around the gas cap, etc.
Will definitely be returning.
From out of town and car was breaking down. Went here to get my code read. The machines weren’t pulling a code from my vehicle but they called so many different shops that they trusted and didn’t stop until they were able to get me into one. Really really appreciated all the hard work they put into helping me even though they were so busy! I can’t remember her name but she had long brown hair & wore Versace perfume. Thank you!!
Went to get wiper blades replaced. Workers were friendly, respectful, and prompt. Lance was AMAZING!!!!! He very happily adjusted my new wipers, was extremely pleasant, and gave the BEST service of any I've had in Years. Thank you, Lance, and AAA team.
Great store! Made 2 other stops looking to get a battery replaced and they were the first to offer the service to do it! LANCE from Maryland was working and was so helpful! So nice and knowledgeable, and had us in and out in 10 mins. they should be very happy to have him as an employee. 5 stars for advance auto parts and Lance!
This advanced auto parts had one of the best customer services I’ve experienced in a very long time. They were extremely helpful with changing my battery and even taught me how to do it myself if I ever needed to! Stacy was the one that helped me and was the absolute best!!! The manger (I think he was the manager) was also extremely helpful and amazing! Walmart said the battery replacement would take 2 hours, but here they did it in under 10 minutes. They saved me from being late to work and getting in trouble with my job. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!
They seem to have anything and everything I've ever needed to fix my car. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Plenty of parking, lots of helpful staff. However some of the workers smoke out front so be prepared to go through a plume of noxious smoke before entering the store.
Wonderful service! Went there to change my van's battery. I have a special wheelchair accessible van that has a bunch of added technology and complexity which most people don't want to deal with so I was afraid that they would sell me the battery but not change it. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The first guy started trying to change my battery and when he had a hard time the person, who must be the manager, came out and helped out and they were able to change the battery while making sure that everything was properly put back. Highly recommend this location!
I really like Advanced, they always help me with any engine codes and even suggest the cheapest alternative when available. Very friendly and explain things as thoroughly as you'd like. Add in they install batteries for free and loan you tools for tricky jobs for free as well and you have a great place to go when you need the help.
Nice clean store with friendly people to help you with whatever you need to do with cars! They are happy to put new battery in or replace your windshield wipers; they will even diagnose what that "check engine light" means; all for FREE!

I had to do an exchange and didn't have my receipt from the store I bought it at and the other location exchanged it out and gave me the money back for the difference. It was quick easy and painless. Great customer service and free knowledge.
They were very helpful as we selected and had to assemble a cargo holder for our trip home. They lent us tools and stayed after to make sure we had what we needed. Thanks to Brian and the other gentlemen that were helpful.
The staff at Advance Auto Parts were super helpful. One of the lightbulbs I wanted for my car was not available, and they happily put it on hold for me to pick up at another one of their branches. Truly professional employees with a great selection and great prices.
Friendly staff, quick to help, however everything that I want they never have. I needed a sway bushing and they said they'd have to order it, when I arrived they supposedly had it in Stock. Went to put it in and it was the wrong piece, no questions the returned it and ordered the right part but didn't tell me it wouldn't be there until next month. So they refunded that purchase as well.
