GT Service Center saved the day for me! While on a business trip to Melbourne, my car died on the highway. I had it towed to my hotel and was fortunate to find Jay and his brother at GT. They made time to take my car, trouble shoot and provide me with updates throughout the day. They were thorough in the explanations and provided me with alternative solutions. Ultimately, I they replaced the alternator and AC compressor which my local mechanic confirmed was appropriate and well done. I only wish they had a garage in my town! Highly recommend!
Dropped a friend off, will update review when they fix his car. Well he was told it would be an enormous bill over $3000.00 and picked up his car & is still driving it with a minor intermittent problem. I'm not a mechanic so cannot say if a good or bad place. I'm sure though they were probably correct.
Great job diagnosing/fixing our Transit Connection van’s ac system. Two other shops prior, neither diagnosed correctly.

Super great guys. I've had some troubles with my Fiat in the past and they've done a fantastic job, both times. I went by today because I was having an issue with my wiper blades. The man (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) was nice enough to come out, point out my issue, fix it, and get me back on the road in 5 minutes.
That kind of customer service means a lot to me.
GT Auto is with out a doubt the best and most honest repair shop in Melbourne. A family owned business that actually cares about their customers. I highly recommend this repair shop.
Ade an appointment to have a bit of work done and the people wanted to charge me $750 to "diagnose" the car. I did not go there to figure out what was wrong. I went there to get what was wrong repaired. Greedy liars are what they are. You don't need to diagnose a broken strut... They just thought I was an idiot to take advantage of. Beware of these people.
What can I say , Jay was introduced to me by my wife when I bought a new truck and wanted some modifications done. I couldn't have asked for more , diligent, professional, fast and knowledgeable. Trusted and without question with any and all future repair and modifications for me and my families car repairs. I've used his services 4 times and each and every time been blown away by turn around time and services completed. This shop is a must for your repair and modification needs. These guys are awesome. Taking my Volkswagen car to ANY shop is already an anxiety-prone activity, but the guys at GT Service made me feel like they were taking care of my car and my safety.
I asked a million and two questions about what work was going to be done and what the problem was with the car. I took it in thinking it was one thing, and they were able to find the real problem and got my car back to driving like it was brand new.
Friendly and trustworthy, I was referred by a friend and I am glad I brought my car to them! When I was told head gasket was blown by another mechanic, I was referred to GTs,by car shield ,had it towed there and found it was not head gasket (thankfully) and fixed it in record time!! Best customer service, kept in contact with me to tell me what was found and the cost. Thank you so much. Saved me from spending alot of $$$ by being knowledgeable.
Personally, I have never done business with a business with such honesty and transparency like these great guys at GT Service Center. I took my car in to get it inspected as I was leaving town for the Holiday weekend and spoke with Jay (extremely straight forward guy). He advised me of my car problems and informed me it would cost $$$ amount to fix the problem. He did advise me that he only would replace the problem a warranty part as this is the only way he does business and could guarantee me for that specific job he is doing. He also advised and suggested to me as a courtesy that there were other areas of the vehicle that would also need my attention soon to keep the car working at its complete capacity. I respectfully declined (as I thought it was like other automotive corporations that you come in for one thing and they give you a whole list of problem). He said "no problem Sir, give me one second and I'll get your car pulled up front".
I left the State, a few days later my brother-in-law borrowed my car up north to make an errand and my car malfunctioned. I took it to the mechanic in Chicago and the mechanic named everything Jay mentioned. I received a quote from them in Chicago and it was going to cost me an arm and both legs. I asked if they would do a temporary fix and they said yes. Thankfully I got back to town, called Jay and apologized to him for not taking his suggestions serious and got my car in to be repaired the next day. Compared to other areas in Melbourne and Chicago for that matter, the fee was extremely reasonable. They have gained a life time customer with me because of their knowledge, experience, honesty and transparency!!

Yes, experience cost and there prices are reasonable with others that I have received quotes from but after speaking with them on the phone and informing them of my vehicles issue I felt confident to move forward with them as I could tell that they are straight forward with me as to the process to diagnosis my vehicles issue and I'm so glad I did. Honest people here.
I’m a divorced women who has to handle my car repair on my own and I trust that I will get a great deal when I bring my vehicles to GT. I can be sure that I will not get extra items added to my inspection and they always get my cars serviced within a short time period. I had my 97 f150 starter, water pump, idler pulleys, belts and other engine items replaced here a couple months ago on a friends referral and am pleased to say that everything was done right the first time and my ride is running great with no issues. I had an issue with my Ford freestyle, very serious issue with AC where we can't figure out what was going on with it not wanting to cool. They took the time out of there busy schedule to help us out as quickly as they could and were able to diagnose it right away for us. They were professional, courteous and they had the job done when they said they would as well. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
Traveling for work, this was my first time living in Florida, and or course, my AC decided to act up.. Based on reviews, I chose GT service and I'm so thrilled I did. Jay is very kind and explained everything to me, and kept me in the loop the entire time. I definitely feel like he took care of my car in the most affordable way possible. And my AC is nice and frosty cold now.. And they offer warranty on the bigger fixes! Him and his brother are really great and personable, thank you again!
A year ago I had to have some AC work done on my 2015 Chevy equinox, six months ago had to have a valve replaced under the dash, and just finished getting a complete brake job done. I consistently receive excellent customer service. Jay is always very happy and pleasant, he explains everything really well. They had me in and out of there in no time.
These guys were great! Explained everything in depth from parts and labor cost to what the problems were. Before they started on my vehicle they gave me a quote and I did not feel pressured into anything. I went ahead with the repairs and now my AC is super cold and works just fine. I also have a 2 year warranty that was a surprise to me. They are professional and efficient. Doing a complete AC repair and install in 1 day. I recommend them to anyone that needs their AC repair.
These guys are the absolute best. They cared about not only my car but also about me. I had received some pretty costly estimates from some other places and they gave me a reasonable quote and explained what repairs they were going to make in a way that way fair and honest. Consummate professionals. I had my AC and vacuum pump on my VW Golf repaired with them and will go back for other repairs in the future. Esteban and Jay were the BEST! Thanks guys. I took a 1990 auto in for tires (Special order) A/C update. I requested they look over all rubber hoses etc for rot. They did. They found rot. They called first. They replaced. The car runs like it did in 1990. Very happy.
I cant even tell you how great these guys are. Jay and Esteban are the most down to earth, genuine and incredible people and technicians. They did upper control arm bushings, an alignment and a window regulator on my 2009 maserati quattroporte, which is no easy task. They did a fantastic job at a very good price. My car drives like new again! They are also working on fixing an oil leak in my excursion. These guys know what they are doing. They are professionals through and through, amazing customer service and the job done right, on time and on budget.

My AC in my 2007 Tahoe was blowing hot air and needed to have it service, but I was away from my normal repair guy. Decided to Google for repair shops in the area and was glad I did. GT Service Center has very high reviews and now I know why.
Jay took the time to explain everything as to what was wrong with the AC and what was needed to fix the problem. The final cost was lower than the estimated quote and that’s something that rarely happens.
The repair would take several hours so the gave me a ride back to my rental and came back to pick me up when the repairs were completed.
Jay, Robert, and the entire GT Service staff are knowledgeable, honest and very fair with the prices.
If you live in this area you are very lucky to have a place like this to take you car, truck, or what ever you drive to for repairs.
