AAMCO on Hibiscus has serviced my truck twice over the past 12 months, including a major repair. Their pricing has been very competitive and the customer services is uncommonly good. Both times they also showed me through videos during service and physical inspection after it, what parts failed and where, so there was no question on the work.

I can't say enough great things about the people at AAMCO in Melbourne. I took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to the local Jeep dealer because the engine light was on and it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. They told me I needed a new transmission at over $10,000! I balked and they said they would come up with another solution. They called the next day with the solution ... to trade vehicles! I then called AAMCO and told them the situation and the jeep had less than 20,000 miles on it. They said it shouldn't be the transmission. I had the vehicle towed to them and within 1 day they diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. Two days later, I'm driving the Jeep and I'm out $500! $500 vs $10,000! No, it didn't need a new transmission. Thank you AAMCO for being honest!
Had a little trouble with the work but they made everything right, and even gave me a discount for the troubles. Anthony was beyond helpful, and genuinely cared how my car was doing. Definitely recommend him if you come here!
I can’t understate more that I wish i could rate this higher. The customer service I received was beyond amazing. And in an age where customer service is dead. These guys knock it out the park. I dealt directly with Rick and I can honestly say I know I was a pain in the ass. But he handled every interaction not only professionally but with the most friendly patience that I never get anywhere else. He gave me exactly what the poster on the walls tagline said “Peace of Mind”. After getting burned bad by a local mechanic with supposedly “45 years of excellence”. And having months of uncertainty and stress. I was very hesitant dealing with anyone. Well Rick couldn’t have made this experience any better. Everyone there couldn’t have made it better. Before I went here I was always afraid to go to a corporate mechanic shop. Not anymore. Aamco in Melbourne, FL helped me get my truck back on the road with a new transmission and both motor mounts that was over 30% less than the dealership. I can't say enough great things about this garage!! Our Toyota 4Runner had over 402000miles on the original transmission! It was starting to have issues going into reverse. We brought the car to them for an honest diagnosis and they did that. We decided to have the transmission rebuilt by them. They are very reasonably priced. They not only kept us updated on the progress, they also called and let us know if there were any other issues. I highly recommend this garage! I will be letting all my friends and family know this is the garage to use!! Thank you Rick and staff!
My 2020 Toyota sienna check engine light came on and a dealership quoted me $7500 to fix intake VVT solenoids. I got a second opinion here. Rick researched the problem and spoke to other mechanics and found out he could do the repair without dropping the engine. The job was $1200. Thank you!!!!
Just had a to have my transmission replaced while yes this is a huge expense they are def the cheapest in town after calling multiple shops and they by far had the quickest turn around time for this size of a job. Started having issues with a company work Van , when we arrived to the shop, we were greeted by Rick who took care of us promptly, Ensuring that we would have the problem solved within the next few days. I will reiterate you cursed at me ( for starters), and said things you just don't say to a woman (or anyone) I just want to be helpful to others....there's nothing in this for me. While there are some ligitamete reviews on Google we all know that MANY dishonest companies boast reviews that are bogus from friends, grandmothers etc. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT A BUSINESS IS ABOUT GO TO YELP! I WISH I HAD DONE THAT FIRST. STEVE'S DISHONESTY IS CLEARLY STATED BY REAL CUSTOMERS. STEVES SCORE IS A (2). YES, 2 STARS. I also have filed a complaint with BBB I urge you to take the time to read this in full....it's all about integrity which is not existent at this location. If you have been taken advantage of in world of car repair this will shock you I am a 65 year old woman, a devout Christian and my words can be trusted. My car stopped in the middle of the road and I had a strong feeling it was my transmission. I have GEICO insurance, and they told me it would be an hour. I heard negative things about Aamco, but I don't have many options. I spoke with Steve the owner told him my tow would take an hour and he suggested he send his tow truck out and there would be no charge for the tow or diagnostic. WHAT HE FAILED TO TELL ME IS THAT W CONTINGENT ON Aamco service! HAD I KNOWN THAT, WOULD HAVE CALLED GEICO AND WAITED! I MADE NO COMITMENT TO STEVE THAT I WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH HIM! Apparently he thought I was some dumb woman that doesn't know to get multiple quotes! Aamco was $1,200 to $1,600 HIGHER THAN THE OTHER TOP SHOPS W/ OUTSTANDING REVIEWS. Who wouldn't switch!? When I called Steve to lhk I was sending a tow truck to another location he snapped. He demanded to know who "under cut" him, I told him it was none of his business. He then said I had to pay him $258 for the tow and diagnostic! I would have stayed if he wouldn't have tried to take advantage of a woman. He ended screaming at me and in all my 65 years, I never have anyone way the below the belt insults and curse words. I broke out in hives and I was getting chest pains....I was in a state of shock! This "nice man on the phone" suddenly turned into Satan. My words are true and correct. I am writing this because of I can save one other person from this horrific experience
Rick and Nick did a great job of taking care of my 1996 Chevy K1500 Z71. Thought I had a transmission problem that was going to be quite expensive. Nick is a GM Master Mechanic, who was willing to explore other options, and discovered the problem was less complicated and less costly. A day and a half later, and my truck runs better than it has in years. After the diagnostic fee, it only cost about $60 more than if I had done it myself. Thank you so much guys!
We are on honeymoon from Ohio and we had a car issue. Our car wouldn’t start. We called Rick and Steve and they got us right in and Rick pushed us up above other people cause he knew that we were on honeymoon and not from here so he worked really quickly to get us fixed and on our way anytime that I am in Florida and I have issues or if I know anybody that has issues from here I will always refer them to him! Went for for a diagnostic test, they were very nice but the price just wasn’t right. They were trying to sell me more than help me. After I paid the 145 diagnostic fee and got in my car and left I noticed a giant crack in my windshield. They state it didn’t happen when they were doing the tests and driving it to see what issues there were. I asked what they would do about it, they stated we cant do anything because it was probably a rock thrown up or someone came by and randomly vandalized my car. They said you’ll have to make an insurance claim… make sure you go there prepared to pay way over market price and possibly having damages done that they won’t fess up too.
They do more than just transmissions. I took my car in for brakes and rotors. Happy with the work. Thank you Steve and Rick for answering all my questions and having great customer service.

Excellent service from everyone in the shop two other shops would not look at my Subaru and they took it in right away on the next business day. No upsell of anything I didn’t needed especially when Subaru told me I needed $700 worth of work done and it was very simple. Fix that they didn’t charge me for.
We were going home back to GA and had someone in Miami change the transmission oil of our 2020 gmc sierra. We started having problems with it when we got to Melbourne. I called them and even though their schedule was busy they fit us in. Everyone was supper helpful and Jesus really took his time in making sure he fixed what was going on and made us feel like family . We deeply appreciate the whole team.
I had transmission problems on a 1999 Silverado and was told by another service center that I would need a new Transmission totaling several thousand dollars. Steve and his lead technician diagnosed the problem to the PCM and for less than $1000 the problem was resolved. They were honest and totally straightforward with me and that's a rare quality in several places!
Omg! Cannot say enough that would explain how great Steve is! I recently bought a Volkswagen Jetta with transmission issues… I was told to go to Aamco. I thought to myself oh no here we go! This is certainly not the case with Steve! He was awesome. Talked with me over the phone was patient and knowledgeable! Don’t hesitate to call! And no, I did not come out with a $4000 new transmission! I can see why they have great reviews…honest and they won’t rip you off!

Not everyone touches my 48 year old show car but I have complete confidence there. You get a very fair estimate before work and anything that they find during the maintenance event, you’ll be advised. Plus - you get great technical information, suggestions and advice along the way not to mention, tips to avoid potential troubles. I’ve been there three times now with different vehicles and would not hesitate to send my family & friends (which I’ve done already).

Jim was absolutely amazing working with me. I had another reputable mechanic have my car for 6 weeks and they could not get the job done and they gave me the run around. Had it towed to Jim at Aamco and he worked with my warranty company and had it fixed with in 5 business days. He kept in contact with me every step of the way. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his business. 10/10 would recommend!!

Had my 2004 GTO clutch burned out by my 17 year old new driver, service was fast, price was reasonable and the repair was perfect. One thing I really liked was the communication- complete with text and pics send to my phone as we were discussing the issues and repair options. I would highly recommend this shop
