I bought a used 2006 car that immediately had transmission problems. Joe, Matt and team were wonderful! My car issues were more than challenging. There were several issues, and they worked hard and long to find them all. They kept in touch with me throughout the process and were more than reasonable on price. Highly recommend!

Was in the process of buying a used car. Wanted a third party pre-purchase inspection for an extra peace of mind. Great Service!!! I am new to the area and was looking for a mechanic. I chose them because they did some work on my daughter's vehicle and were very honest with her. They gave her an estimate and when the job didn't take as long as they thought, the adjusted the price down. I will always chose a business with this type of honesty; especially in the service industry. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change on my vehicle. In and out in 30 minutes! I have since had my husband's truck and my son's vehicle serviced here. #lifetimecustomer
Consistently the BEST service! I made an appointment for an oil change and alignment. When I dropped my car off in the morning I also asked if they could repair a flap that was hanging down under the front fender and mentioned my car had been leaking into the floorboard when it rains. I was told it might be a day or two - I got a call about 5 hours later saying it was ready! Everything was done and all I got charged for was an oil change! Joe said I didn't need an alignment, I just needed air in my tires which they did - no charge. I requested an alignment so they easily could have done it and charged me but it wasn't needed so they didn't. The flap hanging down from the fender was just missing a couple clips which they replaced - no charge. The leaking was an A/C plug that needed cleared out - no charge. Honest, reliable and trustworthy - never go anywhere else! Joe makes me feel like part of his family!
I brought my father-in-law‘s 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe in with noise coming from the right front brake. They diagnose the problem he needed brakes,rotors ,and calipers. I felt the work was done in a timely manner at a very fair price. I would highly recommend C&D Auto Center for your automotive needs. As a new customer for the first time, I did not feel pressured or nor did they try and oversell me for things I did not need.

My car broke down on a Friday.The most important thing I use it for is taking my Mother to dialysis, which I needed it for the following day. My regular mechanic was too busy to see it until the following week. So I did a little searching online. I decided to call C & D based on the reviews. Well let me tell ya I was VERY satisfied. Joe was very understanding and sympathetic to my dilemma and got me right in, and fixed my car in record time. I was very pleased with the cost of the repair and I will most definitely be using their services again.
Update: I just took my 2010 Lexus RX350 in today for an oil change, and I just want to say again, that these guys at C&D are great. We got right it and right out for a MUCH better price than anywhere else I called. The best part was the trust I have that the employees know exactly what they are doing. Unlike a 10 minute Oil Change places that often won't put the oil filter on correctly or strip the drain plug and tell you you have to pay for a new one. Things like that, that have happened to me in the past. I wish there were more places in this area that had as good of business practices as C&D. I love this place.
Always fair and transparent pricing! Gone here for years, amazing mechanics. Friendly and explain what’s wrong. Had an issue with my car they could have raked me over the coals for, it was such an easy fix for them they refused to charge! Honorable shop right here, bring them all your business.
Was having issues with my heater (my windows couldn't defog) they did what they could but the short "fixed" itself for the time being before I could get it to them and instead if going and replacing everything that it could be they were upfront about it, but let me know I needed to charge my a/c so I had them charge it. 10/10 would recommend.
Absolutely amazing!!! They were so incredibly kind on the phone and in person. They were able to get me in same day for an oil change at a time that worked for my work schedule. They were so honest and amazing prices, I had to clarify the price several times because I could not believe it!! I was in and out in less than an hour. Came here because of the great reviews on google and they are not just reviews but FACTS!! I will continue to come here from now on!!!
It’s everyone dream to find an honest mechanic and this is a place that has them. C&D Auto Center investigated my check engine light without fees while other shops wanted $100+. They offer a nice sized lobby for short-term waiting.
Parking can be difficult, but don’t let that stop you from the great service that they will provide.

I am new to Melbourne Florida and needed to find a body shop and mechanic. This is a very scary experience normally. I read reviews and BBB and chose C & D Auto Center and thank the Lord I did. The most kind and honest gentleman! Place is clean too! I will use them for everything I need for my vehicle and will take any reference they give on anything they cannot do! So THANKFUL!
I was a loyal customer for 30+ years, except when my new car was under warranty. I still came to them if it wasn’t covered under warranty. Last year they way over charged me twice! I goggled what I could get the parts for from a local parts store and they charged over $100 more. Then at the second visit for the ac they charged me $118. for labor and they only worked on my car for under 15 minutes. Wish I had known what they had become before I was so taken advantage of. I always recommend them to everyone. So very disappointed in them, wish I checked their prices earlier. I checked after my last ac service because I saw they charged $113. for a timed 14 minute service. I have been so hurt buy this that I just wanted to forget about them, but I couldn’t, is anyone trustworthy anymore!?
As a new resident in Eau Gallie, I was thrilled to find C&D Auto Center. I’ve been looking for a local auto repair shop to support (I had been going to a small locally owned shop in St. Petersburg for over 20 years, so I wanted to find someone here that I felt I could trust with my 19 year old 2005 Ford Taurus).
I called C&D and spoke with Joe and Jim at different times, and they were so kind…my AC totally stopped working and I called them to see if they could check it out for me…. I had googled the shop and read amazing 5 star reviews, so I decided to check them out.. they’re so close to my home and they were really great on the phone.
They did their magic and checked everything out, and advised me my compressor was out, so the repair would cost me approximately $2,400. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford to get it repaired right then, but when I’m able to get it repaired, which will happen, cuz no AC in Florida is just a total joke…. I’ll be taking my girl to these fine folks! Oh…and they didn’t charge me anything to check it out!! So yes, I’m a fan of this establishment!
And then, not a week later, my engine light came on….. I called and Joe said to bring it in…they kept it overnight and called me the next day to tell me what needed to be done, so I had no problem at all with them repairing it. I’ll need an oil change soon…so guess where I’ll be going?! Yep…to C&D Auto Repair!!
I highly recommend these folks, if you need any repairs for your vehicles!!

I took my vehicle to see what the issue was. Had family go here. I liked them and thought they were honest. The guy really worked with me to assure if the car was worth the fix or if I needed to just get rid of it. Honesty is key!
I’m super picky about where my beloved older car goes. C & D is the only place for us. I trust them, they treat me and my car like family. Fit us in even when there’s a ton of other cars. They are quick and my car comes out running amazing again! I truly feel like they have our backs! If you want top of the line, honest work done by respectable folk this is your place! I got towed here by total accident but God had a plan because not only they did fix my tire; they were able to look at my AC as a bonus and after two different companies telling me it was going to be very expensive I was able to get it running at a great price. They quoted the part before doing it, and I never felt pressured into doing the work when I was wasn't ready.
I have been blasting that AC on high ever since.

These guys are old school, true honest gentleman. Took my car to jiffy lube for an oil change and they put a faulty sump plug on. Went to vavoline today to get an oil change and they messed with it completely freaked out and said, “We aren’t mechanics we can’t fix this, it’s now leaking oil!” My husband read reviews for C&D and we dropped in. They had us fixed on our way in under 30 min at an extremely fair price. They will be our only mechanic from now on. Thanks guys! You saved our weekend trip to Saint Augustine
I've been taking my vehicles to C&D for about 10 years now. Joe is great - he's been there for a long time and is always professional and accommodating. My last visit, I took my 2003 Lexus to get looked over before I sell it. Like many other times before, they were prompt, fast, and didn't try to nickel and dime me. The car was fine and all it needed was an oil and filter change. I've taken at least 3 other vehicles to them before and had some bigger jobs done too(diagnostics, transmission, A/C).
I trust this place and the technicians there, and finding a trustworthy auto shop can be difficult - especially for me as I've worked in the auto industry and know how some of these businesses operate. But these guys will always get my business and I couldn't recommend C&D Auto enough.
I've been taking my cars to C&D for 5 years now and I am never disappointed! From oil changes, tire rotations, and regular maintenance to big, scary repairs, the folks here have always gotten me back on the road. The owner and staff are all so nice and accommodating. They are honest about the work that needs to be done and never mislead about the price. Price is always fair and the work is always high quality. I definitely recommend! Also, they are a AAA certified/approved location!
