Farlow’s is AMAZING! They took care of my daughter who is heading off to college! I chose them because originally, my daughter popped her tire on the side of the road and one of their mechanics happened to stop by and see us. He fixed her up in no time and would not take a dime.
So, fast-forward a little, and the hood of her car would not open. The dealer quoted me $475 to fix it. Another local shop that you see on all corners told me they would give me a deal at $255. I just happened to remember the place where the man who happened to help my daughter, said he worked at. I figured what the heck I will give them a call. I took the car in to get a quote on it and when they called me, they said it was fixed. $30!!!! That’s right, 30 bucks. Farlow said it wasn’t broke. The mechanism that opens up the hood just came off. You just never know if you’re not in this field. Really glad for the honest ones out there. They have my business for good! They did a full inspection of her entire car, fixed all the issues, and treated me fairly! That’s all I can ask for
This shop is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car whether it's getting an oil change changing tires or having to fix major issues. They've been able to find and properly assess any issues with our cars even when other mechanics have "no idea" what's going on with it. They'll never overcharged you and they'll always be upfront and honest with you. CJ and Jonny are great we and can tell they actually care about what's best for you, not just what's best for the shop. A bit of advice for anyone wanting to use them, make sure you make your appointments in advance. They'll usually need a week or so before they can see you (not always), BECAUSE THEY ARE THAT GOOD. So be proactive and make an appointment, and Farlows will make sure to make you aware of any problems that might be lurking around the corner. These little problems can become big ones, and they'll make sure that doesn't happen.
I took my 2015 f150 platinum to farlow with my
ac not blowing cold and was told I needed a new compressor, catalytic converter, 4 new breaks and rotors and several other repairs and the cost would be upwards of 6k. I took my vehicle to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion that ran a full diagnostic and literally showed me the report, and found that my expansion tube was clogged, cat converter was fine and all I needed was a break flush. The cost was $550. That was my experience. Edit to add: my truck is currently fixed and my air is blowing cold, the compressor did not need to be replaced. after Farlow's response to this review(basically insulting me and not taking accountability or apologizing for trying to upcharge for items That were not needed) I will never be a customer of them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone I know.

Dealerships had recommended repairs that were very expensive, we went to farlow’s for a second opinion. In both cases they identified the
Real problem, which were not the problems the
Dealership identified and at a fraction of the cost that the dealerships provided. I’ve finally found an honest mechanic shop! Thank you to the Farlow team :)
Auto repair reviews are usually a horror story, but not this story.
I have a 2019 Lexus 300H that was approaching 60,000 miles and needed a complete service.
Having been driving past Farlow Automotive for a few years now. I always look at their location, they have the best curb appeal of 99% of the businesses in Melbourne.
I had the thought that if Farlow’s curb appeal was outstanding the service must also be outstanding.
In I go and checked out their garage on my wat to the office, of course it was spotless.
Johnny greets me; the office was immaculate and to tell you the truth it was better than I expected.
I told Johnny I need radiator flush, oil change, tires rotated, AC service, transmission service and on and on my list went.
Talking with Johnny, I had a good feeling about Farlow. Johnny told me he would check this and that and see what needed servicing or replacement.
I leave my car and tell Johnny whatever he sees that needs replacement or help just do it.
I made an appointment and dropped my car off.
Next day I picked up my car and the bill was much less than I thought it would be.
They had completed all the services I requested plus changed the wiper blades and the cabin air filter. I mean who would check that filter, only a great garage that is who.
My car was running fine and has not given me any problems during the six years I have owned it.
Now the car is running like it is brand new, it is amazing how nice it drives.
I usually had the AC set at 72 degrees, now at 72 it is freezing and we now set the AC at 78.
Overall, if you need your auto service you now have a place to go to.
I would like to give Farlow Five Stars for location, curb appeal, honesty, expert mechanical repair, and ease of doing business with.

These people are scammers! They claim they replaced parts that they never did , and are washing they’re handing of me spending $1,054.90 on parts that were never replaced in my vehicle. DO NOT service here .
I am so happy that I took my car to Farlow Automotive. My car was having so many issues. C.J was amazing , he worked diligently fixing every issue. The price of the repairs were more than fair. I had a great experience at Farlow Automotive. Had my car at another repair shop. They told me the head gasket was leaking and the cheapest option would be to replace the motor. I did not believe them. The car ran great never overheated and never had to add coolant. Took it to Farlow Automotive and CJ did some diagnostics and determined that there was nothing wrong with the car. It’s running great. Thank you for your honesty and for saving me a ton of money. You guys are Awesome!!!
I have a 92 lumina z34 which is more on the rare side these days. It started not shifting right all of a sudden, so I had it looked at by a few different shops, and all they wanted to do was sell me a transmission. I heard great things about farlow automotive, so I had it towed there to get their opinion. Within a day, their mechanics found out that my transmission was fine, and my issue the whole time was a broken wire that went to one of the parts on the transmission. They had it back to me the very next day, and it drove and shifted great! They also pointed out a few other things that needed my attention that I was completely un aware of, possibly saving me from being stranded on the side of the road. Hands down the best shop I've been to yet. I highly recommend, and will be taking all my family's vehicles to farlow automotive from here on out!

Best service I've ever had in the area! My F-350 broke down had it towed in turned out to be a bad fuel pump and they had it back to me the next day 100% recommended this shop. Good prices and great people!
I had my bmw 328 brought in because the my timeing chain broke off. And with in 20 I had a quote and it was fixed 2 days before they said it would be. Overall they had great service and quality control
Took the car on to check on a small water leak, first they said no leak, but needed tires and alignment, supposed to be done that day, was accident on 95 so tires did not get there until Thursday, they called us told us needed a waterpump, was going to be 1500.00 on top of 600.00 for tires and alignment, did not get the car until Monday, we had to rent a car for the weekend, picked the car up Monday around 4pm. Car was driven to walmart on Tuesday, on Wednesday went to New York in Melbourne, colonial drive in Orlando on Thursday, stayed at the house Friday, Saturday went to start the car, started and stalled, then restarted and started hearing a ticking noise, could not take car back to Farlow because they are closed on weekends, so we took it to tires plus for a diagnostic, now this is after spending 2000.00 at Farlow and they told us the car was good to go, after the diagnostic it is misfiring in 3 cylinders, and still making a ticking noise, they told us that they did not know if the engine was blown, or what, suggested we take it back to Farlow and see what they say, buy NO THANK YOU,we had it towed home until we can figure out what to. So just be leery if you are considering Farlow automotive.
I can only give them four stars at this point.
I think their technician CJ knows what he's doing.
If he would have told me when I first pulled in that I could have ordered the wheels and tires myself and avoided the shop mark up I could have given them five stars.
He told me in the future I could do that.
I liked the atmosphere, the dogs they have running around the place, and it's close by to where I live.

AAA towed my suv here. I had never heard of them. cj was very polite and helpful on the phone. they did a great job fixing my radiator, thermostat and other things. thank you guys for getting me back on the road.

First they were my dad's auto repair shop and now they're mine. Always honest reliable and willing to work with you to get your car back in shape. If you're looking for someone who won't screw you over, these will be your guys.
Replaced my ball joints, control arms, tie rods and sway bar links myself but still it was driving rough and making a ton of noise because the front end needed an alignment. I considered Firestone for $119.95 plus tax but decided to give Farlow a shot for $89.95... my car is driving perfect, no noisy steering, and a ton more smoothness. Thank you Farlow Automotive!
Farlow is our trusted mechanic shop for everything. We are so grateful they are nearby. We had truck issues that every shop turned down and they not only did it quickly but they were so kind to us and fit us in as it was a time sensitive issue. It’s been hard to find an honest shop and we won’t go anywhere else now that we’ve found them!
I talk to the guy (Chris) who collects money and checks in the cars and checks out the cars to the customers that come in. However, I was told one price and than when I came to pick up the vehicle, it was a different price which was never discussed then he was like I was able to save you $100, I hope that helps you, like the price is right show… but then yet again a day later, my car has the same problems as it did when I brought it in I will be calling Monday first thing when they open highly upset. Never had a problem before with this place I always use this place never had an issue until just recently
My Ford Explorer was here for some repairs. They did an excellent job and she is running great right now. Very happy with their service and their pricing. Honest mechanic and highly recommend! We dealt with Chris.
A friend of mine was in desperate need of car repairs. They were able to get her car in quickly and they repaired everything they could that day. Honest, Fair, Great Customer Service, Quick. I needed my Brake Switch fixed and a tire checked due to losing air. I called on a Monday afternoon & they got me in the next morning! I was in & out of there in 45 minutes. Fixed the Brake Switch & Patched my tire.
The price was totally & absolutely reasonable. ESP considering I got a price check somewhere else and they wanted me to pay $140 more and that didn’t even include the patching of the tire.
I felt totally at ease as soon as I walked in. Chris was very welcoming.
I will be returning for all of my automotive needs from now on!
Service was great! The first time I was there earlier this year, Chris helped me out big time by getting my work van back on the road very quick.
This week, Gary was very helpful and understanding of my situation. Other shops would have taken much longer to fix it.
We found a safety recall for my van. He ordered a gas tank but then found out about the recall and was able to cancel the order. Now I will go to the Honda dealer and let them fix it for no charge. It runs better than ever now. Thank you Gary and staff for your excellent and prompt work.

After a huge quote from our dealer on a routine maintenance check up, we were recommended to Farlow by our friends at Pitstop. Thank goodness for great recommendations, Chris took care of our needs and went through everything we needed to get completed in order to keep our “Warranty Forever Policy” they are ASE certified and I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs quality routine maintenance on your car. We got everything we needed and it didn’t break the bank, my husband and I were very satisfied with our service and will be returning for future maintenance for our vehicle. As a small business owner ourselves, we know how important it is to spread the word on other small family owned businesses and I’m so very thankful to have found a great Auto shop I feel I can trust.
