Our back taillight was not working. We went in and purchased a new bulb. Asked the manager if store would help us install. They showed us how to get the job done in minutes. Best service ever from a car parts store! Auto Zone on New Haven in Melbourne Florida is the best with taking care of their customers in a flash.
Dec 17 2025 - came in 5 months later and had another exceptional experience with Paul G. He tested my car battery and noticed it wasn’t keeping a strong charge. I chose to have him replace with a 3-year Duralast car battery. He installed in just a few minutes and also guided me how to check car fluids. I highly recommend Auto Zone West Melbourne Fl. After heading to another auto parts store and being turned away, I went to Store 4984 today to have a battery checked. Miguel C. served me with amazing customer service. Even though they were awaiting more team members when I arrived, he went out of his way to serve me with a smile and patience. He was very polite while he checked the battery and then replaced it. He looked up the best deal for me too. Miguel C. made me an Auto Zone customer from now on! Well done Miguel! Thank you for your excellent customer service!

While trying to complete all of his managerial duties while closing the store, he patiently stood by while I tried three times to find and replace the correct bolts to the license plate holder to one of our vehicles.

On 10/27/2025, under a gigantic deluge, my car battery decided to die. I’m a full time Uber driver so this unexpected turn of events made me less than pleased. After getting a jump start, I went to the AutoZone store on SR192. Very agitated, I explained to store Associate Steve what had happened. Steve was very calm and patiently explained he’d have to wait until the storm died down a little to do the work but in the meantime he checked my account and his inventory and found the battery needed was in stock and what’s more, the dead battery was still under warranty so it wouldn’t cost me anything to replace it. Once the rain subsided, Steve replaced the battery and saved the day. Store Associate Steve is to be commended and rewarded for his professionalism and excellence. He is truly a great asset to the AutoZone organization. THANK YOU STEVE!!

My failing battery was tested and the conclusion was I need a new battery. My old one was exchanged for a new one. There were a few complications. But in the end AutoZone was able to finish the task and send me on my way with confidence.

These guys are the BEST! They were all very helpful and more then willing to go above and beyond to help me! The manager was very knowledgeable and Ryan really saved me! They were fantastic and EVERYONE From the two guys there alone Saturday night from the entire Sunday shift were helpful, polite, and all sensitive to the fact that my broken car sent me Into a panic and left me an emotional wreck and they all went out of their way to make me feel better and get my car up and running for a great price! I will go no where else from here forward! I recommend this store to everyone!

I needed a new battery for our 2005 Solara convertible. Since I live in South Melbourne Beach, O'Reilly's was the first auto parts place that I came to going west on New Haven Ave. I parked my car out front and went inside. There was one person behind the counter and no other customers at that time. I explained to that individual that I needed a new battery for our car. I could tell right away that I was not going to enjoy dealing with this person. I would describe his demeanor as bordering between indifferent and unpleasant. The individual's name was Ken or Kenneth. After quoting me some prices on batteries, I asked him if he would be able to replace the battery for me. He said that he couldn't because he was the only one in the store at that time. He said he would remove the old battery, however. When he said that, I said "Don't you only have to put the new battery in and connect the terminals?" His response was "It's not always that easy” and said that if I wanted anyone to help me in removing the old battery and installing the new battery, I would have to return later that day. Upon that ridiculous, callous statement, I walked out and stated that I would not be coming back to O'Reilly's again because of the way that I had been treated.
I discovered there was an AutoZone only a 2-minute drive west of O'Reilly's. I went there, and there were at least six people working there. A very nice young man named Miguel helped me by testing our battery first, then recommending what my options for a new battery might be, and then removing the old battery, installing the new battery, and putting battery grease on both terminals. I related to Miguel that customer service was of primary importance to me, and he delivered In every way possible. I expressed my appreciation to him and said that he had brightened my day because of his wonderful attitude and cheerfulness in all that he did to assist me. That is why we keep coming back to AutoZone. Miguel is a credit to AutoZone in every way imaginable. He exemplifies what I look for and expect in quality customer service. I needed an engine air filter for my Hyundai Venue and called AutoZone to check availability. Ryan answered, confirmed they had it, and said he’d help when I arrived. At the store, he greeted everyone, helped me check out, and swapped the filter in minutes. Super friendly and efficient—great experience thanks to Ryan!

Had to take our jet skis up here for a new battery and Rav was amazing and extremely helpful. He had a great attitude and was very patient when trying to get the battery out of the jet ski. I was expecting a big hassle bringing in my dead car battery with 6 months warranty left. Miguel, tall, thin friendly guy, verified the warranty using my phone number and swapped out the battery for a new, better one with 4 year free replacement warranty ($19 upgrade I requested). Very easy, carried it out for me and now all’s well again. Couldn’t have been better.

RAf H’s customer service and overall professionalism were top notch during our visit today. Because it’s a difficult task for us to do, we asked Raf if he’d check the cabin air filter to see if a new one was needed. Knowing he wasn’t required to check, he did it without hesitation. He also, installed it along with the main air filter. Thank you, RAF for going above and beyond for us today. You’re a fantastic person.

The women in this store were great! Very helpful! When I asked two men in the store for help they were condescending, and rude. I can completely understand liability and not being able to do something for liability. I can understand and respect this. They told me they could walk me through disconnecting my battery, but I did go somewhere else to have it done because I did not appreciate the way I was spoke to and sneered at! Do better!

Had an awesome experience at the store on 192 in Melbourne recently. My alternator on my air boat went out and the manager bent over backwards to help me find the right one. Matched it up exactly, couldn’t believe it with 1 million different alternators out there in the world.

I have a commercial account, but I needed to make a purchase in DIY. I was having a lot of trouble doing that. I couldn’t even use the website to make the purchase for what I needed. I reached out to corporate and my call was promptly returned by District Manager Michelle, even though this isn’t her district. She then reached out to the store and spoke to Rose. Rose promptly returned my call and told me to come in and she would work everything out for me. When I came into commercial, Rose was very helpful, as was Dan. Also, Nathan helped me tremendously at the front counter. I am extremely happy and very thankful for everyone at AutoZone….for caring enough to take care of (even me), for taking pride in their jobs, and for always doing right by people. The employees of this store truly treat others how everybody wants to be treated. Thanks again!
