Don't bother! Told me 2 hours til pickup. Had to call 4 hours later, said had another pickup. 6 hours later no call! Texted him to Forget about it! These towies have no business sense what so ever, not even to text with updates.

Brandon did a really good job he was fast and on time and professional and a all around nice guy every time I use hometown they have good employees and he definitely is one of them I will continue using hometown for all my towing needs.
My girlfriend called and he told her 30 minutes 45 minutes late we got no update she called again and he said it would be another hour because of an accident, an hour later she tried calling and he blocked her because her calls wouldn’t go through, I called from my phone and he picked up and said he’ll send someone but we just gave up and called someone else, no help and not straight forward.

Today I witnessed a wreck. I also witnessed the driver for Home Town towing, helping the fire department clean up the scene. I’m sure the PCFD appreciated it and all the drivers around me did too! The vehicle was already on his truck, he could have road away at that point or stood around, watching as the other company’s tow truck driver did. However he helped to spread around the substance that absorbs motor fluids or gasoline and then scooped it on the truck. Maybe that’s part of the job, idk. However your ambition in making the scene safe was appreciated by me at least!
I needed an inoperable vehicle towed from one residence to another, within 5 miles. My call was answered right away.
A tow truck was sent within 30 minutes. The driver was professional and courteous.
Best of all, Hometown had the cheapest price for the same service.
The driver definitely knew what he was doing. He was able to place the vehicle in a pretty tight spot, perfectly.
I hope I won't need a tow truck any time soon. But if I do, I will certainly call Hometown.
I had a automotive repair business until Hurricane Michael and used Home Town Towing on a regular basis and was always satisfied with their service. Recently I had a need and called Billy and he was as always very accommodating.
Our driver was extremely polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Both response time and communication were exemplary, especially in comparison to some of our previous experiences with other companies.
Professional, friendly service, and his genuine patience with our extenuating circumstances was greatly appreciated.
Will definitely be calling this company again should the need arise.
Awesome. Very fast and my tow truck driver John was great and efficient. I was traveling through Panama City on business, my car broke down and they even share a facility with a repair shop (Hewletts tire and auto center). Hope that you don't need them, but I highly recommend.
Rental car broke down. Driver was professional, courteous, and gave me a ride to Enterprise at the airport. It was later at night, so he waited for me to go in, ensure there were no problems with a replacement rental before he left. Could not have had better service and pleasant conversation on top of it. Went down a list of tow services from Bluntstown to Panama City all gave me a 4-10 hour time before they'd be out. Jason from Home Town answered and and an hour later had my car was loaded on his truck, friendly and great response time when needed will definitely use them again if in the situation!
Just had Jason deliver my 12' golf cart in town. By far the easiest thing I've had to do with my move! If you need to transport your golf cart, stop looking into getting a trailer and and call these guys today. They have amazing prices and are fast! Thanks again.
Gerber Auto Body dispatched these guys out today to tow my truck. I had never used them before and kinda had to go with what was being given to me. I believe the drivers name was Trevor. Very kind young man that knew how to handle a vehicle! He talked to me with the best manners and made me feel like I’ve knew him all my life! Good job Hometown and Trevor for making this experience a really positive one!!

I scheduled for my vehicle to be picked up at 7:00 am the night before. No one gave me a call to let me know they would be 2 hrs late which resulted to me having to wait another day later to have my vehicle due to my car not being there at the scheduled time which was 8:00 am when the Auto shop opened. A simple call to inform me that the driver was running behind would have been great! But no. Nothing at all. I had to call to find out the driver was on an emergency call which is fine. To simply have been informed would have been great business.
EDITED! So, while all of the original post is correct, and I had edited it to a 1, due to a driver issue, I would like to now change it back to a 5. While not happy with what happened, accidents do happen and hopefully we learn from them. The driver made a rookie mistake, but it was resolved in THE most professional way. Billy, one of the owners, kept in close contact with me and made sure I was taken care of and satisfied with the end result. I will now, once again say...I hope I never need their service, but if I do, I WILL call them! **ORIGINAL POST** Victor was AWESOME!!!!! Prompt service. Vehicle was in a tight location and he was able to get it out without doing any damage. Very personable and made sure we knew exactly what he was doing and why. on vacation and stressed to the max, but he did his best to make us feel somewhat better and wished us all the best. Most tow truck drivers are rude, want you out of their way and definitely don't want to talk or reassure you. Hope I don't ever need their service again, but if I do, I know who I will call.
Couldn't ask for better service! My daughter's car broke down on the way home from work. On the Hathaway Bridge at that. I called this company and got a price. Real upfront nice guy. Called a couple others that were extra expensive and not friendly. I called Home Town back and John was amazing. Everything was fast and efficient. I met my daughter and Mr. John followed us home and unloaded her car just fine. I say all this to say I HIGHLY recommend Home Town Towing! Good price considering how far we had to go. I was on vacation and at the beach with just me and my children and my car wouldn't start, I called this company and as a woman alone with children was iffy about a stranger but a driver named Justin showed up and he towed me to Cramer Chevrolet and waited to see the problem and thank goodness it was just a battery but he was very respectful and helpful! Great service would definitely recommend this company to anyone!
Worst experience ever with a tow company. My schedule is always full so planning is a must. I set up a tow 2 days ahead. Since my vehicle is longer than most I made sure specify exactly how long the tow bed had to be minimum in feet and inches. 18.5 ft. They said no problem.
So when the tow guy got here he immediately became a jerk. Very rude. Wouldn't even talk to me or listen. He measured my car from bumper which is 20 ft and said it wouldn't fit. Just got on the phone with his boss and left. Said nothing to me.
I have had my car towed many times for years. I can see by the size of the bed whether I need to worry about my car fitting. My car is 17 ft from the back of the tire to the bumper which is all that needs to go one the bed. Done this over a dozen times while restoring my car. THIS WAS THE LARGEST BED I'VE SEEN! I can almost see my whole car fitting on there no problem. These guys either have no clue what they are doing, or are just real jerks.
Not to mention that I called repeatedly during the day right after this happened, and they would just send me to voicemail. Funny how the 24 hour tow company answered everytime time I called before when scheduling, confirming, and making sure they were on the way. 5 minutes after they leave no longer answering.
Billy, the one who came and got me and my little brother, was very kind and helpful. He even let my little brother be involved and was very helpful. GREAT SERVICE!! Never been towed, never want to again, but if I ever do, he is the man! Cheapest place too! Also was there in less than half an hour!
