I just dropped off a bunch of copper this morning. A friend recommended this place. It was incredibly easy to establish a first time set up. I left very happy and pleased. everyone is extremely nice and respectful from both inside the warehouse and inside the office and i spoke with multiple people. I will definately be back for any future needs. I highly recommend this place for both ease of use and the location along the main road is extremely convenient for anyone to access. Im highly impressed with how easy and stress free the whole process was. I would rate this place 10/10. My whole first time experience this morning was amazing.
Terrible primitive dock and with overgrown shrubs with trashy surrounds. Be sure to check your tire for nail when leaving. The manager asked why I was taking pictures, I informed him I needed to inform dispatch of conditions and that’s when he threatened I wouldn’t be working for my company long. Informed my corporate office of said threat
I’ve gone twice now and it was quick, pleasant, and prices felt fair. Intending to go tomorrow to see what useful steel I can find and acquire from them for a welding project so I’ll update how that part of the business goes
Well glad my dad brought me up going to bama...at least they open on Saturday and pay out a dollar more all the way around...got up early and started loading the truck, got in, crunk up to crank off deciding to check the open time and they not even opened today smh...done wasted 2 hrs and for nothing cuz bama was not an option for today but for now own it will be
Good workers pleasure to work with them recycling metal. Very cool and helpfully answer all your questions about what each category is and clarification of all the different classifications of metal, and what they are paying the customer each day ; as the prices vary often. And change .
They are thieves I just put a trailer that weighed approximately 1,500 pounds of aluminum and when I went to collect they paid me 800, they just blatantly steal, don't be so scoundrels
the person on the scale is the most thief I will look for where to report so that they inspect them for thieves

Fair pay outs on their scrap but the language barrier with some of there employees has proven to be somewhat of a hassle. All in all need fast cash then your in the right place.
Rented a rolloff dumpster after my mother passed away and had arranged to have it for a couple of weeks to clean up her home. With so many arrangements to make, we fell behind. I called them and they were very sympathetic to our needs. They extended the dumpster rental by another week with no additional charge. You just don't find many local businesses that take care of people like that anymore. Thanks for everything Coastal!
We go here all the time the OG at the scale is very nice and will always make you laugh they are all very helpful the lady's in the office is also very nice the only problem is that now they are closed on Saturday's like we open back up on Saturdays
Very fair prices for your scrap. Employees are helpful from the scale man to the big machine operator's. The owner is on first name basis if your a regular customer. It doesn't take him long to know you.
Had to take some scrap metal from work here, very nice staff, Every employee helped me along the way and answered my questions so I knew what I was doing.
Standard junk yard rules apply: better to take a pickup truck, and make sure you have your rubber boots.
When I went back another day, it must have been near closing time, as they only wanted my aluminum, not steel.
This place is not taking appliances any more and it is a pain to go there because you have to unload everything yourself . If you have tin then steel and copper you have to weigh go in unload cone out weigh again go back in and on and on .I have never had anyone help me nikias a thing in the few trips I have made there . There prices are no better than anyone else's I know this because I compared them off and on from time to time . Worst scrap yard I have ever been to and the staff that weighs you is unfriendly and has been everytime I went there . Will never go back after today had appliances and had to bring them back home because they refused them . Only reason I went today was because the other one was closed due to the virus and boy was that a mistake.

RIP off!!! 200 pounds off both times. Happens the employee reporting the weight is also 200 lbs and can step on and off the scale at will. Coincidence? I doubt it. Everyone in the truck saw the original weight while we discussed the employee(200lb guy) helping a man unload the truck in front of us.
I used them to weight my house hold stuff when moving. You have to get there early because business picks up very quickly. They were fast and efficient. Not the most friendly as they mean business the more they weigh, the more they get paid.
I scrap for a living pretty much and I'm on the side actually and a side job and I go nowhere but Coastal they are the best place to go if you have to scrap any kind of metal I love those guys there what a great group of people
We live in Mexico beach, about 30 mins away. The website says open on Saturday until noon. Called to verify info and was told that we had to be here by 11:48. Arrive at 11: 40, the two guys at the gate were yelling closed. There is a miscommunication between the office lady and yard guys that needs to be addressed.
Got my money’s worth! Pleasant man running the scale. Even nicer gentleman in the warehouse handling the copper!! The ladies up front were in a fairly good mood as I was there during a rush. I would recommend this place!
Every time me and my kids go to coastal we are greeted by Ellis with a warm smile and a pleasant conversation while we are being weighed in Ellis is also helpful if I have any questions about any metaa.ll of the guys in the yard are helpful and the girls doing the hard work keeping up with so many people in and out teressa and brandi are very polite to everyone and have no problem answering any questions I have had for them all in all its the best place to sell your metal.
Was a little hesitate due to the reviews turns out it was a wonderful experience, The staff on the yard and in the office super friendly and helpful. Came out with way more money than expected. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good honest,pleasant experience.
I decided to go to coastal instead of Lewis metals due to it being almost 430, BAD IDEA. Take an extra 5 minutes and go to Lewis Metals, Coastal sucks. I had nearly 1000 pounds of steel and in the mix I had 1 tin well water bladder tank, After cashing out I argued with the guy because they cashed me out for 1000 pounds of tin. His argument was if I sent you to the pile back there then it's tin yup that's what it is. He needs to be fired and someone with the ability to see the difference between tin and steel needs to be hired. Lewis Metals has nearly a 5 star review and 5 stars is well deserved. Coastal doesn't deserve even 1 star
Didn't know how bad I was getting ripped off until I went someplace else. Not welcoming and happy you're there...their customers. The very people that are keeping you in business. Lady in the office had never once smiled...she looks incredibly unhappy.
The truth of the matter is, their competition is going to eventually take them over by simply having a better attitude, better service and not completely ripping people off.
Very poor place I went hear and the guys that runs scale suggested I throw something on the wrong pile and proceeded to tell me it's ok that's how he makes his money just give him a tip. I couldent believe it first please don't force me to do something like that and stealing is wrong put me in a bad position that I didint even ask for. And you have to unload everything yourself. I would suggest Lewis metals they are honest great staff and very helpful with sorting things properly and unloading what you have
We only went there because they are open Saturday. Biggest mistake ever, that place is a rip off. We got half if not a little more then half of what we would have gotten compared to where we normally go. We won't go there again.
