A.O.K Home Maintenance was in a bind getting a large custom project completed by deadline, only to be delayed twice by a simple aluminum hand railing order shipped from a once bookseller now turned conglomerate. (1st order was lost in transit 2nd order? Who knows??)
We called Tom at M&M Metals and explained our aluminum fabrication needs. He understood the urgency and was quick to deliver with fabricating the parts we needed, and we were amazed to hear that he said he could get it done the same afternoon. We where able pick up, and had it installed by the end of the day.
The next day, we needed a custom aluminum stand-off for another safety hand railing. Once again, Tom was able to get us the material we needed promptly and at a reasonable price.
Because of his help, we were able to get our project completed by deadline!
I am reminded as a small business owner again, and again how important it is to support local businesses! They make all the difference with their community mindset and willingness to help. Thank you so much Tom and M&M Metals for being a valued and trusted business partner.
After receiving a bid and contacting the manager Tom to discuss the plans to move forward, I could not get seem the job scheduled due to multiple excuses.
This caused a delay in the project.
Overall - Poor customer service…
I rented some dumpsters for construction debris. They were able to deliver and haul off 8 dumpsters in 2 days. I was very pleased with their level of service and price. Highly recommended.
It is nice to find a business that still knows how to be a good business and treat customer with care and attention and this is what I found here. I would highly recommend M&M for any metal work.
After I cross threaded and sheared a bolt off in my mustang, and then broke an extractor bit trying to get it out, I called many welding shops in Alachua County before eventually calling M&M Metals. No one else would be able to take me as a walk in that day. After calling M&M, they said no problem, and were able to take me the same day. So I made the drive to Alachua, and within minutes they had my car in the shop and were working with it.
They TIG welded a nut to what was left of the bolt, and were able to get it out with no problems. It only cost me a little bit of time and $20. They were very professional and took time to make sure everything was safe and ready for the weld.
Great service and pricing. I would recommend them to anyone.
THIS IS THE BEST "and I mean the BEST " Welding shop in Alachua county .IF you need to Buy METAL OR have something Welded go here first .... All I can say is this place and people are great.. located on Peggy road in Alachua Florida.
