Every time I go in there by myself, I get treated like I’m incompetent and have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever. Had an employee try to tell me today that they don’t sell 5W-40 Euro oil and never have. Which is awfully funny considering I’ve been getting my Euro oil from that store for 2 years now. That’s fine. Good thing Advanced Auto has it.

Well, below I had given them five stars. Just a few weeks ago in fact. However, I called the 24th, to see if they had an item before I drove out. That's what smart people who do not LIKE WASTING THEIR TIME DO! The kid put me on hold, came back and started, "he's i have it". I said great, the orange one right. "YES, for fuel" . Cool what time you close? "6" . Thanks. Later. This time not so helpful. Take the 15 minute ride one way. They don't have it And that guy split. Now I have the manager on the phone, what sounds like a personal call, after standing there for 10 seconds worth no acknowledgement. AFTER I already searched for it. Didn't have it, asked if I called THAT STORE?! I Jane lived here 8 years and it's the first time I had gone to auto zone in Jan. for a battery because Advanced Auto didn't have it. That is where i have always gone. NOW I remember why. Shame. But of you don't know your job OR product, your just stalking time from your employer. Jan 26 Very friendly and helpful. Your team did not help a pregnant woman (not me) yesterday with her cars dead battery. Stated it was “too cold” but also wouldn’t loan the supplies to fix it. Morally incompetent staff, I’ll make sure mine and my friends and family never waste money with you.

This could have been a very different review. My car battery died last night and granted it was cold out. I got a jump from a family member and then called autozone seaford to make sure the battery I needed was going to be in stock. The woman on the phone said it was, and I headed up there. My husband asked to test the battery, just to make sure it wasn't just dirty terminals and yup, completely dead. He headed inside to purchase the new battery and when he came back, he puts it in the back seat. Wait, aren't they going to put it in for us? He told me no, that the employees inside told him it was too cold, they didn't want to do it. Funny! It DOES happen to be cold outside, I'll admit that, but I'm also 30 minutes from home and 5 months pregnant! He headed back inside to get the battery charger/jumper so we could at least get home to change the battery ourselves. They didn't want to do that either!!! Said they didn't want to take it outside because of the cold. Finally they gave it up and he came outside to jumpbthe battery. We got home fine, changed the battery ourselves which took about 10 minutes. As far as *Im* concerned, I will never ever spend another dime at autozone ANYWHERE. Go to Napa in town seaford or Careys in Laurel. Because this location is a JOKE.

Had a terrible experience with this location on Thursday, February 29th, 2026. I worked from 7am-8:30pm and immediately drove to the store after work because they closed at 9pm. That morning on the way to work my van started shaking violently and the check engine light came on. Immediately after work, I drove there to use the code reader and see if I could get some parts for my husband to fix it that night so I could maybe drive it to work in the morning. I arrived at the store at 8:45 and went inside. The person working, who later identified themself as the manager, refused to wait on me because they were locking the door. I was obviously very upset and worried about my vehicle and if I could even make it home, but they continued to refuse to help me saying they needed to sweep and mop before 9pm. When I pointed out there was still 13 minutes until closing (at that point), they doubled down on what they said with a nasty attitude and told me I would need to come back at another time. (When I told this story to someone else, they knew exactly which manager I was talking about without me saying anything, because they have experienced that same nasty attitude with them before.) I told them I had to be at work again before they opened in the morning and now I wasn’t even sure how I would get to work. I left the store visibly upset and in tears. I immediately called someone that manages another AutoZone location and asked them if that was standard practice. They told me it absolutely was not, and that they are to wait on customers until closing time. I then called the DM and left a message to verify if this was store policy. This was all before it even turned 9pm. The DM did not answer and never returned my call. That was 5 days ago. We have always been loyal customers of AutoZone, but have decided to take our business elsewhere. I’m very disappointed that they made a decision that sweeping and mopping was more important than helping a customer in distress.

My battery needed replacing, so I called the store yesterday, spoke to a guy named Brody, he was very patient and helpful. Went in today, Eddie helped me. He was knowledgeable, confirmed what Brody had told me and was very professional. Eddie installed the battery for me quickly. Such friendly service. I would absolutely recommend.

My family and I only ever had the best experiences at this particular location, I won’t go anywhere else for my car needs but here! One person that always stands out every visit is Ray. From his excellent customer service, to his infinite knowledge about cars, and his dedication to seeing repairs through. He is always very willing to help, no matter what the task, and is an absolute joy to talk to while he works. It makes the sometimes frustrating task of car maintenance a breeze, he’s amazing. If I could give any employee a 10/10 star review it would be him! Thank you Ray!

Great customer service, never had a problem with any of the employees. They had everything that I needed for my car. They even help me when I couldn't figure out what part I was looking at from a picture I took. 10/10 Will shop again. ♥️♥️?️?️

In my opinion, EVERYTHING is over priced. If you take the time. You can find the same quality parts online. Way cheaper. Shop around folks.

Christopher Gregg went above and beyond, helping me with a faulty part. He even tried to repair the part, as they did not have anymore in stock. He was able to find the part for me at the next closest location. He exhibited exemplary service, which now a days is a rarity.

You're just better off going up there and standing in line for an hours, called 17 times got put on hold at 11 times (the normal way of the store anymore for years now ??)then hung up on the rest of the times when I asked for the manager I was laughed at, I got sick and tired of being put on hold and they needed almost absolutely every spec of the vehicle just for a price check for windshield wipers worst store in the world zero Stars if I could!, I work on too many cars to waste my time I'm going to advance Auto nothing can win me back from the store literally my ex-husband and I crashed the computer because we worked on cars all the time the store has been like that since Seaford Delaware had the earthquake I was in the store when the battery rack shook, I'm never going back it's never going to change

Overall usually have no issues with the seaford location but I tried calling them tonight I was put on hold which is not a problem I stayed on for about 20-30 min when I finally heard someone come back on the phone and not say anything before they hung up. So I called back 2 more times and someone answered both times but didn’t say anything and hung up on me.

I went there to get my alternator check they told me they don't do that. Before I asked that I was in the store only one to the counter and the workers started a conversation among themselves and simply act like I wasn't there I bought wipers they gave me the wrong ones they also said they don't put them on. All this happened in one day. Reading yall reviews I understand why I no longer shop there I get services at advance

I visited the Seaford store yesterday. After my visit I reviewed the reviews and the common theme was the rudeness, and disrespect of the staff. And by reading the reviews, over several months nothing has been done. No changes has been made. As much as I appreciate the service Most Auto zones provide. I will not return to this store. I was even charged for something I did not ask for or need.

Went for a battery , website boasts about free installation, testing and so on. Asked about battery guy looked it up , started to ring it up , never offered to check my existing battery . I asked about installing it , he said mine took a “special “ tool and recommended a garage to take it to have it done . Never even offered to carry the battery out to my car . I’m an older woman not frail but still should have offered . Battery was installed that night by my son , no special tool needed . Now I have to make another trip to get core charge refunded . Won’t be using this store again

I went in the Seaford store and almost immediately an employee (Josh V.) came to me and asked if he could help me, after getting all I needed, we went to the register and was rung up when I noticed a $59 charge and I asked what that was for? The Employee (Josh V.) then replied, you took this item on a previous day and we were watching you. I said no I didn't take anything I come here all the time check my records. I have spent thousands of dollars here. I became very agitated and paid for the items that I picked up, not the item accused of stealing. I left the store, thought about the accusation and took the merchandise back in that I had just purchased for a refund and told them to remove my name from the system because I won't be back. I was humiliated and angry. They have lost a loyal customer.

Ordered an oil cap for pick up after ordering, purchasing, & getting my confirmation number & picked my item up, with no problem. I even ran back in to get fuses for my windows & they had them available. Haven't tested them out to make sure they are right, which I believe they are, but still had them!

The Parts and pricing is great and often have what I need right than and there,But a few selected individuals(2) seem like they have a little bit of a attitude not only once but multiple occasions. One selected individual on Sept 13 a little around 5:00pm -6:00pm wearing no uniform had the adasaty to call me his "Dog" stating- "Are You paying with cash or card? Dog" Last that I checked that's no way to talk to a customer. The company is Great but the Staff is what made me give this review because the staff is the face of the company.

Was not a very positive experience they did not have the part I needed in stock or the other will willing to get it for the following morning. That I find acceptable what had me upset was the attitude of the store clerk. I went into the store knowing exactly what I needed make model and year of the car that was to go on and was tret like an idiot. Plenty of parts stores I'm not going back.

Horrible. Waited in line 4 times Wasted 40 minutes of my life I will never get back. Slow and rude. I went to buy wipers for my Ford Escape. They had no book or lookup system for the wipers. So I had to get in line and wait for an attendant to tell me which one to buy. So I then get the ones I was told will work. I then have to get back in line to pay. Go out to put them on the car. There was no offer to help. I spent 20 minutes trying to get them to fit. They did not match the car. So I have to get in line again to tell them they do not fit. They go out to try to make them fit. They do not. Then I have to get in line again for a refund. Apparently they gave me the wrong ones and only had 1 of the right one in stock. So they asked me if I wanted to buy 1. I said no that is ridiculous so they gave me a refund. 40 minutes wasted for wipers. Went down the street to Advance Auto. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They even helped with the wipers. Much better wipers and they were cheaper too. Better off going to Advance.
