I stopped in at Smryna auto zone and got windshield wipers replaced. Great service however under staffed needs more workers at the Smryna location to keep up with customers demand.

Quick and simple interaction, i came in gave aiden exactly what little information i had, he checked based on the info i gave him, and then when i asked for a price check, he gave me a variety of options based on price and information on whether mechanic shops would be able to complete the task here. Great interaction.

I stopped in the Smyrna AutoZone today to have two small rear bulbs installed in my vehicle. I had failed my auto inspection a few days ago, and the reason was the blown lights. I purchased the bulbs a couple days ago, thinking my nephew would install them for me. When he told me he would not be able to do it, I went back to the AutoZone where Austin (who previously sold me the bulbs) said he would install the bulbs for me. Austin was awesome! He installed the bulbs pretty quickly after having to remove some bolts; he tested them to make sure they worked and pretty much made my day! He was so polite; he would not even accept the tip I offered for installing my bulbs. I have worked in the customer service field for 40 years, and I am often disappointed by the current lack of good customer service when I walk into different businesses. However, I will say, that if I ever need to go to AutoZone again, you can be sure I will be going to the Smyrna AutoZone and I will, most definitely, ask for "Awesome Austin"!Thanks again Austin!

As a former ASM this location's staff lacks customer service skills. Their stop drop 30/30 is non existent. I was in the store for 5 mins, and walked out of the store with not so much as a peep, until I hit the door. The PSM on duty seemed more interested in flirting with the young red shirt instead of acknowledging somebody walked in the store. Wouldn't fly back in my day, but I guess that's just me.

I walked in the store on Thursday morning and I received a warm greetings from the staff. I bought wipers and they even offered and put them on for me. I highly recommend everyone to stop there for any auto parts needs. I’ll be back for sure

I have unfortunately learned with this business the quality of customer service one receives unfortunately depends on the ambition of each employee and who the customers get stuck with …on numerous occasions several different younger guys have replaced the blown low beam bulb in my headlights so on Feb 3 I stopped this time needing both sides of the headlight bulbs replaced and the middle age salt pepper hair and beard employee waited on me I believe management and he claimed he could not figure out how to change the blown bulbs nor how many times in the pass years his fellow co-workers did it, just needed to pop few snaps off and have patience with some effort since both sides blown maybe it was the two separate fuses that needed replaced, to lazy to check that for possible answer, so he refunded the money for cost of bulb stated they are not mechanics not allowed to use tools didn’t need them in the pass yet on a daily basis I see them installing vehicle batteries etc the quality of customer service given depends of the employee and that’s unfortunate

On 12/14 at 9am I experienced the worst customer service ever. There is a young kid that works for your company, who is very disrespectful to customers. His name tag was not present to retrieve a name. The company is not hiring on standards but availability and this young kid showed it. He did not help in finding the part I needed for my vehicle at all. He actually walks away from the counter with an attitude and continues what he was doing in stocking. The managers and owner needs to show customer satisfaction is what your brand is representing but at this establishment they are not. Great job making an early morning trip that was supposed to be convenient, but ended up being inconvenient because I had to drive and take my business elsewhere. Thanks for advance auto parts being across the street to handle all your establishments inconveniences.

I was looking for a bunch of stuff for a few different Chevys the young man helped me find everything, when I was checking out I forgot my oil filter and he remember even though I had a cart full of stuff. He was very help and even when he didn’t know something he looked it up just to help me.

I’ve been shopping at Autozone for over 20 years. Yesterday, 11/1/2024 was my first and WORST customer service experience ever at Autozone!! Thank you Garrett for the POOREST level of customer service I have ever received at Autozone!! I had to visit another Autozone to receive much, much better service!! Garrett was very disrespectful and condescending!! If I had the time I would have given him a piece of my mind, but I chose to not sink to his level and take the high road and just visit another store to handle my business!! I will NEVER visit the Smyrna Autozone again!!

Jordan P. This guy is amazing. One of best Sales Employees I've ever met. I have worked retail for a number of years, and Jordan is different. Friendly & knowledgeable on the items he is selling. I highly recommend this location just based on Jordan's attitude & demeanor. Thank you Autozone! Thank you Jordan!

Very knowledgeable people. Luke also helped me bring my battery out to my car, since I had my baby with me. Thank you Luke!

Needed a new starter while on vacation. The Duralast gold lasted 75 miles. Had to get a tow and an emergency repair. $725 and 5 hours later we were back on the road. Never buying a Duramax anything again!

This is where my husband and I go for car parts. Their staff is always helpful and their rewards make shopping here worth it! I'd recommend giving them a chance, I find they go above and beyond.

Young dark haired man with glasses went over and above to help my husband find a can of clean gas and carburetor cleaner. He came over and held each can choice so we could decide. When we almost chose the wrong type, he nicely directed us to the correct choice. He was a refreshingly polite young man.

Was helped by Maurice. He changed my battery in under 5 minutes, and was very helpful about teaching me how to do it myself for next time. Those guys are awesome!

The employees in this store are always ready to go above and being to help and work hard to make sure all parts are correct. Leslie, Dashawn, and the other managers are always polite and very knowledgeable.

Went to AutoZone and Smyrna to get rotors and brake pads. They sold me the incorrect rotors they were too big for my car. I took them back and got the correct rotors which were smaller and same brand and quality and they charged me $40 more for them. Not quite sure how that worked out. Looks like I’ll be using advanced auto from now on. They have never steered me wrong

I can find what I need at Auto zone mostly. My issue with this location is that they do not bother greeting or even talking to you until you are ready to check out. I stand in this location constantly and am never asked if I need assistance. Only go here if you already know what you want. The staff is practically useless until you talk about a large purchase where the one guy who knows what he is talking about gets to brag about his knowledge. I will be going to advance across the street from now on where I can actually get help when I need it.

I went in to get some oil today and was disappointed to find that despite the store displaying the required mask notices, out of the two of the three employees who were wearing a mask there was only one who was wearing it correctly. Additionally, the manager never addressed the customers who came in without a mask or were simply wearing it around their neck. I had hopes that I could shop safely, but this was not the case. Edit: Additionally, I would like to highlight that the Delaware state laws were not being followed, which is the state which this took place. Edit2: Wrote them a month ago, they still haven't followed up. It seems like everything that the owner writes is a lie.

I went to store #1160 in Wilmington Delaware on 12-6-19 cause my car started sounding crazy. And a wonderful woman named Mere helped me. My car windshield wipers were terrible. My oil light was also on. She basically took the time to help me and my cuzzin find everything. Aside from the fact she was patient with me, I loved her personality. I will go back and ask for her. She was knowledgeable and that was important. Shout out to Mere. I appreciated you sista helping a sista, lol .

I think the manager here needs to improve his social skills. I don't know the guys name but he has greasy black balding hair and wears glasses. He was rude to the customers and his staff. He was rather irritating and I wasn't even being assisted by him. Normally I wouldn't pay much care but he was unnecessarily rude to the sales associate helping me when he needed to ask him some questions about how to process a transaction on the stores computer. Then he was rude to a customer who had been patiently waiting in their lines that take forever telling the guy "come on buddy come on! What do you want?" It wasn't they type of attitude you present to someone that comes into your store to purchase stuff from you. I don't know what it is but it's like this Autozone always feels the need to hire morons like this at their store. It's not hard to look up parts and show some basic courtesy to your customers. Maybe he just had a bad day who knows but people like this bring down the atmosphere of a business and turn customers away for good after a bad experience. If it was enough for me to write a review about this guy imagine how people he works with or customers he handles feels.

All the staff is really great. It can be very busy at times but always worth the wait. Keith, Steve, and Toby run a really great store.

Went in yesterday morning, 5-31, the fellow working the counter was eating his breakfast and acted as if I was bothering him. He would actually take a bit of his food while looking up the parts I need. Then would eat while finding the parts I need. Very unprofessional. The attitude made it worse. I am the customer and he need to eat while handling my transaction

I don't know anything about cars. So I came in AutoZone last week to ask for help. I needed new hub caps but I didn't know what size to get or how to figure out what size I needed. There were 3 employees. One on the phone, one checking out customers, and one on the computer. I walked up to the "manager"the guy that was on the computer (shorter white man with a beard) and explained that I needed hubcaps but I didn't know what size. He looked at me like I had 5 heads and said "I can't help you if you don't know the size". I thought that was weird, but I said "ok, how do I figure out what size I need?" He told me that I have to measure "it" and went to find me a ruler. He gave it to me and walked away. Again, I don't know about cars at all. I go to my car with the ruler measure "it" which I assumed was my hub cap, came back in and let him know it read 16 inches. THEN, I asked where the hub caps are located. He pointed to the back of the store and said "back there" I'm like OK! At this point I get irritated. As a manager, he didnt act like he wanted to help at all. Everytime I'm in the shopping center I see AutoZone employees in the parking lot helping customers. It blew my mind that as a manager he showed no interest in personally assisting me with making sure I got the right hibcap for my car. I would love to say that's the end of my review but it's not. I get my 16 inch hubcap and go check out. I'm in line and the person ringing customers had to stop and take a phone call while the manager just stood there. So now I'm holding this big box of hub caps (I'm 4'11 so to me it's big) waiting. The employee was very nice and professional on the phone. The manager starts whispering the employees name while he is on the phone with a customer. Manager starts laughing and mocking the employee on the phone. The employee was clearly not happy with how he was being treated. I finally checked out and told myself I would never go back. Wish this was the end of my rant but it's not. I get home and the hubcaps are the wrong size. I was beyond MAD!!!!! I waited and finally went back today. I was relieved that the manager was not in today. Troy was working the register. He was polite, helpful, and seemed to actually care when I told him what happened last time I was in. We had great conversation and because of the helpful EMPLOYEES that is the reason for 2 stars. Come to find out, the hubcap size is written on the side of my tire. As a manager, he should have suggested that. I feel like he made me look like a fool on purpose in front of the other employees. He was rude, immature, and lazy. He needs to be fired in my opinion.

The store is very clean and organized but I was in there at 12 p.m. Monday 7/24/2017. I went in there and got my own oil change stuff then I want to get in line it was three people working in there and there were two people in line me and an older man the one employee was on the phone helping a customer why me and the other gentleman waited in line the manager was right there putting stock up we waited for at least 10 minutes I walked out the older gentleman stayed in there waiting I believe that the manager should have stopped and helped the customers so they can check their stuff out and they go back to putting up the stock without the customers there would not be any stock to put up

I only had one great experience with a woman who helped me and I was out within 10 minutes. The other times I have been, I never leave feeling like I was helped. One man didn't know where to plug the diagnostic tool in my car (I've had it done there before) and just recently a woman looked as if she didn't even want to help me, I had to pry answers from her. Don't bother and go to another place.
