First of all, this company is supposed to be 24 hours and clearly it’s not because I work late hours and someone parked in my space. I followed the steps and requested a tow and called this company 6 times with no response. I shouldn’t have to wait and hope this person will move their car at 5 in the morning. I was forced to park in someone else’s space because they weren’t able to deliver.
Mr. Harris helped me out, most kindly, going above and beyond what might be expected so I could proceed w the must do's after my car accident. The service and efficiency were impeccable! Thank you Harris Towing! I will always come to you for my towing needs.
Do NOT purchase a vehicle from them my daughter purchased a vehicle that drove less than 50 miles and it broke down. Had the car checked out and it’s a complete lemon! The car needs timing chain, water pump, oil change, coolant flush, valve cover gasket, timing components, and crank shaft sensor, brakes, struts, shocks, rotors, costing thousands of dollars to fix. I know they knew the car was a lemon because the salesman gave us information on how to tag a vehicle in the state of Virginia in the event it doesn’t pass inspection. They don’t even deserve 1 star!!
Great experience, Lee was very helpful and personable. He arrived with the tow to my location within 30 minutes. Helped put me at ease after a horrible experience this morning with my vehicle. Would absolutely recommend.

Definitely was a pleasure dealing with this company. From calling the office to meeting with the tow guy it was a pretty smooth experience. Spoke to the gentleman on the phone, set up an appt, and they were out to me within a half hour.

Mr Harris and Mr Lee (tow guy) was the best. They really helped me with a tow, second look and ultimately a junker. I did not get the bad car from them or anyone in deleware but I am thankful for their help and getting rid of the car. I will be using there service again. My Mom actually posted a review before I could and said it all! I truly cant express the gratitude I have for Harris Towing. I was stuck in the mud and it was starting to get dark, but being new to the area I had no clue who to call. When Jon answered the phone, he was kind and calm, which is exactly what I needed. He explained everything to me, connected me to the wrecker driver Nate. Then within 15 minutes Nate was there to get me out, he talked me through everything and had me out of the mud quicker than it took me to get stuck! The professionalism along with pure kindness and understanding was more than I ever could have asked for, and this is a company I know I can rely on, with a team of kind hearted people!

My son had a flat tire coming off the Summit Bridge. Called Harris Towing we met them had it hooked up and towed immediately. Fast and friendly as always. Great Customer Service!!
My car broke down this morning on the way to school, bad! Smoke and everything. I called Harris after contacting my AAA and being told AAA would take 2-3 hours to come. But after explaining my situation to Harris towing group, they said they would get a driver to me within 30 minutes. I don’t even think I waited that long! I received text alerts when the driver was on the way. Everything was handled very smooth. Not to mention my driver, Lee, was so nice, compassionate, and caring! He took care of everything once we arrived to our destination and assured I was okay. Overall a great experience
I did not use this business because although they were closer to do my towing job once everything was straight their total price was more than double priced. The guy that answered the phone was putting in the wrong address and kept repeating the wrong house number using a 4 digit house number instead of 3 digit house number and then was being sarcastic because he was coming up with the wrong zip code and city. After he listened and realized it wasn’t the 1410 that he kept saying he was able to bring up the correct address. He told me to hold on while he got the price from the driver and he asked me not to hang up; (which I didn’t, I waited), for him to come back and try to rip me off. Since when does the tow truck driver dictate the price of tow; unless he’s the owner of the company. These people thought I needed their business so bad that I would pay them more than double the price to tow my vehicle 18 miles but they said 20. I will never recommend them to anyone for towing. I gave them one star because I had to in order to share this unprofessional experience dealing with this company. Something that should have taken hardly any time took up too much of my time to try to rip me off.
I called and they were very helpful. I was actually sick and they offer if I leave the key in the car they could do it without me being there. They kept me informed the whole time when then got there and when they were on there way. I will use them again if in need.
It was a little odd doing the whole transaction over text messages and clicking on links to pay, but they did what I needed them to do- they towed my Oldsmobile home after a fuel system issue. The only thing I would've liked is to be told when they picked it up or when they dropped it off. But that's a lot to ask as busy as they were/are.
I broke down on the highway and my warranty company got in touch with Harris towing group to get my car towed to the closest dealership. They accepted the job and I got notification that they would be between 90-120 minutes (pretty standard). So we wait. We wait. And We waited until finally I call them to see what the status is. The dispatch told me they canceled my towing.. I got ZERO notification from them (No text, No call) which as you could probably tell, had me waiting for absolutely nothing. I waited for 3 hours until a new tow could come get me. I understand if they could not help but I at least expect a call or text stating that the tow was canceled. Disappointed in the level of communication.
i called my insurance company for a tow for 2 flat tires. The company was prompt and punctual, Nate was the tow driver. He went out of his way to address questions I had and even find somewhere else to tow my car! Friendly and relatable. In a world where customer service is obsolete, its a breath of fresh air to have a pleasant experience even when you're unfortunately in need of tow... highly recommend!! And thank you Nate!!
The Best Tow Service I've ever had. I have a BMW 750Li, and the Harris Towing Group tow driver Walston was the first tow driver to properly tow my vehicle. He was very knowledgeable. He knew about the tow hook in the emergency compartment in the trunk, also knew how to manually put my car in neutral. He's from Delaware but was familiar with NJ where I'm from because his Wife's from there. Also he mentioned he was getting certified in Jersey in a few weeks. The more you know the better. Awesome service ! Called VW car net for assistance. The driver arrived within the hour. A young fellow by the name of Nate if I remember correctly . Very professional and friendly . Loaded up my car and unloaded at the repair shop as if it were his own vehicle. I would highly recommend this company if the situation would arise.
I am so very pleased with this company. I had originally called them and a few other companies asking for prices and they gave me an estimate. After calling a few different places I decided I was going to go with Harris Towing. They stuck with the same price as before, not trying to add any additional fees or anything like that. The guy I originally talked to told me it would be about 45 mins to an hour before someone was at my car and as I was walking out the door I got another call from Matt saying he will be there in 20 mins. He was so nice and kept me updated on what he was going to do, and he put my car in the exact spot that I needed it to be in. Since someone smashed my window he offered to put crash tape on the windows once we got the car settled in the driveway. I was not happy about having to call a towing company, however, I am so glad that I went here!
We broke down in Dover on a Saturday night. Other tow companies we called either didn't answer or want to do the job. Harris Towing was friendly from the time they answered the phone. The man who delivered our car to our home was professional and friendly. Highly recommend Harris Towing.
The dispatch guy was friendly and easy to deal with. The tow truck driver (Nate I think it was) was personable ,professional and quick to arrive. The best part is the price very fair. I hope I never need a tow again but if I do I’ll be giving them my service for sure.
I called State Farm roadside assistance tonight because the fuel pump went up in our Durango, and we needed it towed to my husband's place of employment so he could work on it there. They sent Harris Towing out and advised me that they would arrive in about an hour. Roy arrived well ahead of schedule and was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I had told State Farm that it was going to be a difficult job because our truck won't start and the layout of the driveway would present a significant problem, but of course, they didn't advise the tow company. Despite the potential for a great fiasco, Roy very quickly and seemingly easily got our Durango on the tow truck - which involved the very difficult task of pushing our SUV around a corner! I was very impressed and absolutely pleased with the service tonight. I would definitely recommend Harris Towing, especially if they send Roy out - because he definitely knows what he's doing, and he's very careful and good at what he does. He credits 13 years of experience, but even the most "experienced" technicians can be total airheads. A+++ job!
my car broke down less than a mile from their shop, (reddner's shopping center) I had them tow it less than a mile away to the aamco and they charged me $85. driver was friendly but I still felt like they gouged me. next time i will definitely call someone else.
