I had a great experience with this towing company! I called looking for some help getting my car back home after it broke down. The company sent someone out to me in less than half an hour and I got my car back home with no troubles. The truck driver was so friendly, and he even took the time to explain what might’ve gone wrong with my car, the mechanics of the tow truck, and the various details of his job (I was being nosey lol). Great customer service and 10/10 recommend!
Best tow company I've ever dealt with in TriState area! Outstanding service and communications, and very respectful of your time. Would give them 6 starts if available.
They would have got 5 stars, but they where so busy it took them almost 3 hours to get to me. But the driver was extremely apologetic and being that they where picking up my 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Convertible he took extreme care loading it on flatbed. He also helped me push it in my garage at the end of tow.
Great communication, friendly workers, efficient and no issues with tow. Other tow companies have made an issue with the low clearance on my vehicle, but this wasn’t an issue for Eastside. Professional & handled with care.
I was broken down approximately an hour from home wasn't sure how soon or even if I could get a tow, but I did Eastwood towing. I actually had a nice truck to ride in and the driver was very personable.
There is nothing worse than a trip interruption where you need a tow. Called Eastwood just before 8pm when I got a flat in Plainville on rt 84. My expectations were that I’d see someone in an hour or more. The flatbed came in 30 minutes! The driver was empathetic, and a very nice guy-it was a pleasure to drive to the dealership with him. Can’t thank you guys enough, you made a crappy situation efficient and got me home to my family much quicker than expected.
I do not remember the gentleman’s name , but he originally towed my truck when it first broke down to my house. Then later, he towed it from the house to where it was going. Great experience on both separate jobs. Very fair price taking the truck (2500 hd service truck ) from Waterbury to Naugatuck. Both separate towing jobs was cheaper than some of the competitors price for the first single tow needed.
I parked it on the street while a dumpster was placed in our driveway for work. Unfortunately it was towed and the cop treated me like a lying criminal because it wasn’t registered. Though he could clearly see the dumpster in my driveway. While he was obnoxious the tow guy, Tariq was very kind. I got everything situated the next day, unbelievably and the secretary was super helpful. I called before I went and explained that I needed to get clearance from PD first. When I went into the office, they process everything effectively. It’s cash only and only the person the vehicle is registered to is allowed inside fyi. I would definitely work with this company in the future and recommend.
This company did an exceptional job today for me and my mom.. they arrived ASAP and quickly took care of the situation… especially their driver Nick. Thank God for him really. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were ok and was a super genuine guy… we need more of him out here;)
My experience with Eastwood Towing, Inc. has been very frustrating for our company, Carfast Rentals LLC. In December 2025, following an accident involving a 2010 Toyota Prius valued at approximately US$3500, the police called Eastwood Towing to recover the vehicle.
Two days after the incident, I went to the Eastwood Towing facility to pick up the car and was informed that, by mistake, the vehicle had been taken to a junkyard. According to Manager Rob, the driver mixed up the information and removed the car without the title—a procedure that is prohibited in Connecticut.
When the vehicle was returned, I discovered it was in extremely poor condition: missing wheels, with the engine exposed, and several parts missing, making any reasonable repair impossible. After contacting Rob, he confirmed the error and explained that resolving the issue depended on the approval of President of the company Jim.
After several phone calls, I received an offer of US$1,600 along with the return of the car in its current condition. I accepted this proposal in an effort to resolve the situation, but now, five months later, I have neither received the payment nor a suitably repaired vehicle.
I do not recommend Eastwood Towing. While everything may be fine if there are no issues, when a mistake occurs, their lack of professionalism in resolving the problem becomes evident. It is particularly disappointing that a company claiming to have been founded in 1933 cannot resolve an issue as seemingly small as this one. Their inability to address the errors they caused raises serious concerns about their service reliability.
They were there in less than 40 minutes. Jose was great. He saw I was stressed since I was going to be late to work. He was super quick and informative. He had a great attitude. Calling road side assistance is never fun . He made the experience the best it could be. Thank you.

•Steve arrived at the scene after I called him on December 9th due to a lower ball joint/ axle failure.
• I called about 6:15pm and Steve arrived quickly st the scene, he was kind and I only needed my car towed/moved over 150ft-300ft no more than that. Well he couldn’t fit it in the spot I needed it in, but he still tried and in the process damaged my vehicle while rolling it down the tow, without taking off the damaged wheel, in the process of dropping it, he runs out of space and can’t get it fully off the ramp, his jack gives out, and my front bumper popped out, brackets broken, the damaged wheel Steve didn’t take off bends backwards into my wheel well when I tell him to stop, he tried a bit more and scraped my muffler & back bumper onto the asphalt curb in my parking lot.
•Steve ended up calling his supervisor Josh and we waited an hour before he arrived at the scene, Steve was already dodging accountability for the damages he caused and I showed him and Josh the before & after pictures & videos, I have sent them to their office as well to make a incident report.
•After about two weeks of them dodging me, giving me the run around, after calling them and following up, eventually I today now 10 business days later,
Rob the main supervisor in the office claimed he looked at the before and after pictures, I sent and that his guys have, and said my car was already damaged beforehand and they “aren’t gonna be covering anything”
•despite it taking 2 separate men, 2 separate trucks, 3 hours, $180 and (*extra damages ontop of my reason for calling them*) all just to move my car 200ft over. I had to follow up with these people & had a terrible experience every single step along the way & I gave them more than enough time, I was cordial at first, they claim damage free towing and that they’re insured well. But where is that ? It remains to be seen Their actions tell me otherwise!
If they treat a stock height Honda accord so carelessly imagine how they handle clientele with more expensive cars. I called them bc they were the only ones open. I’d rather let my car sit in the middle of the road and get hit than to call them again.
There’s so much more to it but seriously I wouldn’t wish the additional troubles on anyone, avoid these people at all costs. Nobody down on their luck should be charged $180 to move their car 200ft, add extra damages, take 3 hours to do it, and then neglect responsibility & accountability for the employees and business itself.
Would recommend. When a different roadside assistance company failed to even show up these guys were able to get the job done for my company vehicle. Tim was great. Showed up and was able to assist with my flat I got on the highway. Towed me to a safe park n ride just off the highway and quickly swapped in my spare. Thanks again

We are so incredibly grateful to Sean from Eastwood Towing Co. for so many reasons! Our beautiful red Chevy Silverado is our baby and someone hit it while parked going 85 mph plus last week without breaking even and the back end damage to axels undercarriage etc is intense and the 1st tow company called by the party at faults insurance “Kara Motors” asked me for photos then said they were sending a flatbed (which I thought best due to drive train being on ground and aforementioned damage) but they sent out a wrecker and I was concerned so I called to ask why-long story short Cheryl at Kara Motors was beyond rude and obnoxious and said a flat bed would do more damage but when I asked why she said they were sending a flat bed then did not she hung up on me! The driver on site was also beyond rude and refused to answer questions so I opted to get another company.
We are thrilled that Eastwood Towing took the job understanding our needs and best part is that their driver Sean was incredibly professional, kind, caring, understanding, humorous, and he explained the process and also took his time making sure he loaded our truck with the utmost care and concern snd in such a timely fashion! We will forever keep this company phone number and name in our personal affects for future use! Thank you so much Sean!
