Was told to go here for DMV registration services upon arrival. Was told that there is a $250 convenience fee to register my vehicle when West Haven Auto sales a few minutes down the road does not charge any extra fees. People inside. Very polite and respectful and got us in and out within 20 minutes without an appointment and without charging an extra $250 would not recommend using this garage to do registration fees. Do not know what their other pricing is situated like

The lady in the front desk was so polite and helpful. I don’t know why clients always saying that she mean etc she not if u treat ppl a certain way and be disrespectful you will received the same treatment . I was in and out fast I paid my fee etc overall I had a great experience

This place is great. I found out they just gained the ability to register vehicles for CT. I came in with the required paperwork and walked out with plates to my Jeep in less than 10 minutes. I will never go to a DMV office again. Highly recommend!

They have a “24 hour towing service” so they decided to tow our car on Labor Day (a federal holiday) from a spot that was only “illegal” because of a special event parking that day. We called the phone number and the lady said to “wait for a call back from another number.” We waited 45 minutes and got no call, so we decided to call again. We were put on hold for about 5 minutes and then explained that we had called about 40 minutes earlier to which the lady rudely said “Yes I know you already called, we just talked” or something along those lines without even letting me explain that we hadn’t received the call that THEY told us to wait for. I gave her an alternate phone number in case maybe it was my phone that wasn’t working or something and she told us to wait for the call. We waited about 30 minutes before realizing it was getting close to their supposed “closing hours” shown on google. We ended up having to Uber to the garage and got there about an hour before they closed. But since it was Labor Day they also didn’t have anyone at the garage during work hours that we could see to pick up our car. We waited for a bit assuming me they were inside somewhere but they weren’t. So we called the number a third time and told them we were at the garage and wanted to pick up our vehicle and that we paid the towing/parking citations we got. They then put us through to some other person that could maybe help me better and then had me submit a photo of my drivers license to their PERSONAL phone number (which is extremely shady when secure uploads exist online). I was then told by the lady I spoke to that they were going to send someone out and that they would arrive at 5 PM, it was 4:30 PM when this happened, so we stayed outside the garage and waited till then. Come 5 O’Clock no one had arrived but we had seen a car with the company name stop at the Dunkin’ Donuts right next door around 5:15 Pm. We texted the number asking where they were and when they would arrive and they simply responded with “He’s on his way”, even though the guy was already about half an hour late at this point. After continuing to wait, no car ended up coming to the garage until 6 PM. Then when they finally showed up they didn’t even have the key for the gate my car was behind, so we had to wait even longer for another guy to show up with the right key. That wait wasn’t so bad but it was still annoying and a waste of our time, Especially since we had already been waiting for an hour and a half at that point. Horrible experience, would have given 0 stars if it was possible, overall horrible way to spend time on a holiday weekend.

The female receptionist is very rude. Always has an attitude and doesn’t treat customers well. They need to hire someone that actually knows how to deal with customers. She’s snobby over the phone. In person she corrects her attitude

Called 3 times 04/03 for it to be directed to 2 different people whom have to reach out to the manager of the shop to call back. My car has been towed in front of my apartment, a place that I always park and there’s no one available for me to retrieve my vehicle. This is a highway robbery of business ethics if they have a 24 hour towing service, yet are closed. This is effecting my day planned for 04/04.

Shady business! If I could I would give a 0 lady at counter is rude! Told me $1100 to get my car back? Was in an accident and got a tow cars not even totaled? $1100??? BBB is gonna love to hear this!! Come down in these guys hard!!

Towed my car for the city of new haven. Parked during a snow ban, that's my bad, but they lost my car for over 14 hours telling me they never towed it even though I had them on camera. On top of that that used a regular truck instead of a flat bed for my BMW X5 ruining my transmission, somehow they also damaged my steering rack, and bent my rear left control arm and air ride suspension. I called 3 days In a row trying to get some help and was told I'd get a call back before EOB each day to no avail. Will be suing this company for damages. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR. Clearly they just throw it around and don't care. All my stuff was thrown around inside and for some reason my jumper cables were out of the package so I guess they used those while they were at it. Absolutely remarkable.

As far as business practices, this place is the lowest of low. as close as highway rubbery as can be. less than 24* and they wanna charge $960. Girl at front desk needs to be sent back to reducation for customer service coz she has zero. The rudest person ive ever talk to on the phone. I will be contacting DMV and commision of dealer license towing. Expect a visit because im gonna follow through , i hope your papers all in order. Front Desk Needs to be fired.She is horrible and disrespectful.

AAA could have towed me faster, has much better customer service & doesn’t charge me over a grand to tow a car practically DOWN THE STREET. Let’s not talk about the fact that the woman that works at the front desk has a horrible attitude, no empathy or compassion whatsoever. Snatched the paper from my mother after signing for belongings they REFUSED TO GIVE. This company is only after money, does not care about it’s customers at all. When the car was towed the lady was extremely rude over the phone, refused to talk to me & the owner of the vehicle, kept hanging up in my face so me & my mother finally came in. She screamed in our face, threw me & my mother out of the office & refused to give us our belongings. My mom cried in this woman’s face, begging for her belongings, you think someone who has “had ovarian cancer” would have an ounce of compassion or empathy, but no. Far from it, that woman is just downright disgusting. Believe me they’ll be hearing from my lawyer & I will be contacting the DMV as well as the BBB because what they are doing is ILLEGAL.

Got into an accident and my vehicle was towed to Fountains by the police dept. Tow driver was very respectful and Jess at the front desk was very informative and handled everything professionally. Thank you in this hard time.

Called multiple times to get someone to let me in to take pictures of my car to submit to Tesla for collision repair. Each time they said they will contact "The driver" to give me a call. 6 hours and 2 more phone calls later, still nothing. Do *NOT* use them if you can help it.

I was told that I would have a wrecker on site in one hour. The driver arrived in 40 minutes. The driver introduced himself and told me what to expect. Mario (driver) was extremely polite and knowledgeable, couldn’t ask for a more professional experience. The equipment that towed my truck and trailer was 1st class, 2nd to none. Thank you all for meeting and exceeding expectations. Thank you Mario!

This business should have been shut down a long time ago. Taking advantage of people down on their luck. Stealing their vehicles by making it impossible for the person to get the vehicle by either no show, or not letting them inspect the vehicle, not letting them pay the fee, making the fee higher and higher everyday because they don't meet them when they say they will. I will not stop until someone does something about them. There is enough money in this business if it is run fairly and legitimately, they don't have to be crooks. They have the worse reviews because they are terrible. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY I'm also contacting the better business bureau

I dont know how towing works, especially late at night. I work overnight as a rent-a-cop (security) and I called around 1130 and no show. Its 0215 right now as I'm typing this. I just want to go home. I'll give an update if they even show up, but cmon I doubt there's traffic... idk im just sayin

I'll admit, after reading these reviews I was scared for my car. I'd been in an accident on i91 and my car was towed by them, the trooper called them in, not my insurance. i was in a state of shock still and didn't really ask a lot of questions. Didn't even grab a business card b4 I left. But sent my friends to go there to make sure my car was there and all was well. My fear grew when my friends were told my car wasn't there. The tow dropped me off at gando drive in new haven. But apparently took my car to stiles street later, but they didn't make that clear to me at all. So my friends went here and found the car. The guy was nice and helpful. I went later that day when I got a ride and I have to say the guy there -I never caught his name - was actually very pleasant. He told me what to expect and do, helped me take plates off my car while I cleaned it out for so I could release it to my insurer. I don't know if the other reviewers didn't have insurance and maybe that was why they were charged for things - I didn't come out of pocket for anything. And (saying this to the ladies bc I know sometimes we feel we HAVE to show up with a guy to get treated fairly in the auto industry) I don't know if the guy was nice to my friends bc they were two large black guys -- or if he was accommodating to me bc I came with my boss (white professional male) -- but I'm glad it was a seamless transaction bc I had enough to deal with with the accident itself. Im glad that at least THIS part was easy. Thank you guys again.

It took 3 hours for them to get to me, after ordering them directly from the insurance company online. In fairness, I should have called them immediately to request actual ETA after Allied selected them. The driver(Gary) was good. The tow tuck was spotless inside. Im home(a 57 mile tow). Thank god! lol

One of their drivers drove like 60 mph+ down a quiet one way residential street. When he got to the end he turns around and speeds back down the road the other way. There are a lot of people walking in the neighborhood and his reckless driving is neither safe nor welcomed.

My parents were driving down to FL and were stranded on I 95 with a flat tire and needed help. I called Fountain's and they sent someone over in a timely manner and helped put on the spare at no cost. They then gave my father a place to get the flat repaired. Great service and super helpful.

They’re open “24/7” but have no one at the office after 5... someone told us to come get our car whenever and we ended up waiting outside of the gates for an hour while people were rude to us on the phone.

Worst customer service, wanted me to walk 14 blocks to go use an ATM for $6.35 only had $4.85 on me dont caring cash like that but had my debit and credit card which I figured they can take the payment over the phone told me either I walk there or cancel the service they already getting paid from my service provider $100 and want me to walk 14 blocks mind you it was 3AM in the morning where I'm in area where anything can happen. Felt so mistreated...

I would Never suggest this towing company . This company has drivers don't know the Proper way to tow a four wheel drive truck .And once you ask the they lie with the driver driving away with a car with no Dolly once they pick the car up and the driver says I put the car on a dolly a block away if the car is a four-wheel drive it is not supposed to be picked up and move not even 6 ft it must go on a dolly right then in there so they're putting your car in Jeopardy as well as their own insurance do not use this company. The driver came back and said he put the car on a dolly a block away a block away it's already too late the car must go on either a flatbed or on a dolly right then when the car is picked up no ifs ands or buts about it if the driver doesn't know simple tactics of picking up a car that is a four-wheel-drive he should not be a driver at this company or any other company they should stipulate practices before they hire people

I was calling for local towing from Connecticut to Bronx, NY... and everyone else was charging 350-400 range... these people wanted 800+ tax... what a joke really?.. that's my experience
