DO NOT GO! Went there to get new windshield wipers because mine snapped off and I couldn’t see anything. I politely asked to have them installed and the man inside said he couldn’t because it was raining and he “didn’t want to get wet.” Mind you it was drizzling, if even that. So I had to risk my life driving with no windshield wipers. I came to AutoZone for a reason. This was on 11/10 in the morning. Ride, unhappy, and unhelpful staff.

Bought a new battery (reasonable I guess) $200.⁰⁰ Couldn't find one cheaper in the area. But they were very nice and installed it for me. He was very quick and knowledgeable. I would recommend this particular AutZone....

Went there to buy brakes for my car the sales man was very rude to me very unprofessional this happened once before and I understand everyone has a bad day but it also happened to a friend of mine I will not go there again I will mention this to my other friends they made so upset no manners and rude

I’ve been to a handful of Autozones and this location is by far one of my favorite spots for a great experience. I highly recommend this business to anyone!

The nicest most helpful young men, Seth and Andy used a diagnostic tool on my car to see what caused the check engine light in my car to go on. The info they gave was very helpful giving me an idea of what the cost might be to either potential problem . They were both very genuinely kind, friendly, Knowledgeable and helpful.

zach is the best!! drove from FL to Connecticut and my car started having issues when we got here. he installed a new battery for me (under five minutes!) and explained why my check engine light was on in normal people terms hahah he even cleared it off for me and told me to come back if it gave me more issues. this autozone is also located near a lot of car repair places so if it’s a bigger problem than expected, you can easily tow your car to one of the many mechanics nearby. thank you so much zach!!!

Once again I needed to return to AutoZone for a windshield wiper. This time I dealt with Luke and Niklas, they were both very friendly and helpful. Luke replaced the wiper in record time while I remained inside talking to Niklas, still can’t believe how quickly he did it! Highly recommend Clinton AutoZone the staff is A+

I went to get throttle body cleaner last week and it was marked 6.99. When I got up to the register it rang up as 10.99 so I asked y and they proceeded to tell me that customers pick things up and put them back in the wrong place after I showed them the 8 other cans infront of the 6.99 tag. Safe to say they will never get my business again

I can’t express the amount of gratitude I have for Zach and Nick(?) for replacing the battery in my car. It was the battery from hell and they went above and beyond to fix it. I can never thank them enough!

I was visiting Clinton from out of town and I needed a part for my vehicle. I walked into the autozone store in Clinton, Connecticut and Zach O. The store manager assisted us. Zach was very Professional and knowledgeable, and help us get what needed to get my car going back. Thank you, Zach, and thank you, autozone.

Couldn't ask for a better car parts store. They are always stocked with what you need, if not, they will get it for you fast. The personnel behind the counters are kind, quick to smile and crack a joke, and very knowledgeable! One of the perks I like the best are their point system. They keep your info on their system and let you know where your at! I certainly hope the regional manager reads posts, this store in Clinton ct. Deserves 10 stars. Thanks Auto Zone, you have a customer for life.

I went to Auto Zone Clinton to get a headlight replacement, and Andy M, asst store manager went above and beyond with his customer service. He was friendly, professional and so knowledgeable! My headlights were not working properly (turning on only intermittently)-he checked my fuses and then the headlights. The headlights were in a very tight spot but Andy was so patient throughout the entire process and with his expertise, was able to replace the headlights quickly. Thanks to Jeff who worked the register, too! Go to Autozone Clinton and ask for Andy for excellent customer care!

They do a great job getting parts we need for our classic rides

I was at the Clinton, CT store last night because my car has been acting up - Andy and Hakeem were amazingly helpful and kind. They both deserve a raise!! AutoZone is truly lucky to have them on their team!!

Took 20+ minutes for 2 employees to figure out how to give me a refund when I returned a broken shift knob. Not only were they rude and condescending, but their lack of expertise required them to call other associates on the phone asking them what to do. I always have some problem when I go here. Worst customer service. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Usually alright 🤏 Today terrible. The guy helping me was very rude, disconnected, and trying to rush us to finish so he could go back to conversing with the two other employees. Asking questions was less than eventful, and the over-exaggerated sighs when I asked help finding something. I almost walked out from his attitude alone.

Jose and Andrew (hope I got your name right) were able to process my return core with a glitch in the system. It kept saying core needs to be returned from the country it was bought in. I ordered it online from Southington store. Please give these two a raise and bonus, I kept nagging them and coming back cause of the error of the return which isn’t there fault.

Tymus was super helpful all around! I have been having issues with my car battery and he greeted me enthusiastically and jumped in to help with the replacement right away. First he tested the battery to make sure it definitely needed replacing and then proceeded with the replacement. He’s also very personable which made the trip enjoyable and hassle free!

I wish I could leave NEGATIVE stars. I called at 6:45 asking if they have a part because mine was stuck and the man was extremely nice on the phone, helped me out and let me know they have the part in stock. I let the man know I was on my way right now, and he said okay! See you soon. I get there right at 6:59, doors locked!!! Yes I definitely should have looked up when they close but on the phone it would have been nice for them to let me know they CLOSE in 15 minute instead of telling me they'll see me soon! Drove all the way there for absolutely nothing.

I went down to the Autozone in clinton store 6401 to get a new battery and I also needed it replaced. Scott helped me out and replaced my battery in no time! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable! 10/10! Thank you Scott!!!

At the AutoZone in Clinton Connecticut you’re always greeted at the door with a friendly “Hello” My visit February 29, 2020 was especially fun and pleasant because I was helped by Brooke and then Zach. Both are very knowledgeable and they helped me find everything I needed to change my own oil, including advise with other mechanical issues. The manager that was on duty stepped in to provide additional technical support. I highly recommend this location. Joe

We were driving on the highway when the check engine light came on, and our car went into limp mode. We were very worried, but got advice to get a scan at the nearest AutoZone. We pulled up to this one, and Ashley immediately helped us out. She performed the scan of the car, which pinpointed the issue. When we found out the issue, Ashley explained what was malfunctioning and how it could be fixdd. She helped us get in contact with a local mechanic, and assured us of his reputation. Ashley's really knowledgeable with cars, and she's able to explain things in a way we can understand (I know nothing about cars). We were super impressed. Ashley, Antwain, and Chris helped us get all of the right parts for the repair; they explained why we needed each item, and helped us get the best price. Not only were they all so helpful, they were also very personable. Their humor put us at ease in a tense situation, and they were straight forward about everything going on. They pointed out some local places we could check out while we waited for the mechanic to fix the car, even mentioning a nearby antique shop. Luckily, the problem was solved and we were on our way! The car's running nice and smoothly. It sucks that our car broke down, but it was lucky that it was near this shop. Ashley, Antwain, and Chris make a fantastic team. Thank you so much for turning this nightmare around!!

This is a very nice and organized store. The gentlemen who helped me were polite and organized.. They really were knowledgeable and sincere.. They demonstrated the rewards program and I joined.. Hey it's free.. I called numerous stores and they were the only one who had my part.. They gave me a hardcopy pic of a support part that I may have to be replace. Guess what.. Yes ..it is in stock.. I rarely write reviews but customer service at this location is exceptional. Staff (Antoine and Troy on this trip) go above and beyond to assist customers ... I purchased new wiper blades and they changed my wiper blades and cleaned my windshield without me even asking for help!
