Had a great first experience at Richard’s Auto Repair yesterday, though I’ve sought out Rich’s expertise many times previously at Hammonasset Service Station in Madison! I just picked up my car from my first service with Richard's Auto Repair and Restoration. The dealership quoted me $985 for a 30,000 mile check up. I brought the car in and he quoted me about $500 for the job which I was thrilled about. When I actually picked up the car, it only needed about $150 worth of work and that's what he did. I was in shock. When I asked him why he quoted me the 500 amount, he told me, "Well that would have been the max if things needed to be done." I can guarantee you that my dealership would've charged me the full amount and I probably would not have known any different. His shop is incredibly neat, he is incredibly professional, easy to talk to, and makes understanding what's happening with his service very clear. I am incredibly happy to know that I have someone I can trust to take my car too. Thank you, Richard! I would give him 10 stars if I could, and it won't be my last visit! HIGHLY recommend.
Richard is a very Knowledgeable and great guy, He took me through step by step on what needed to get done with my ‘79 Camaro, you can tell he really has a passion for what he does and how he really cares about his customers, 10\10 recommend and i am defiantly coming back.

Rich performed an oil change and tire rotation on my 2016 Chevy Tahoe at a reasonable price. I also had a recurring message on the dashboard with my car’s StabiliTrack service, which he diagnosed with his scan tool and dismissed. If your vehicle needs any repairs, I highly recommend consulting Rich.

I had a great experience with Richard’s Auto Repair & Restorations. The staff was honest, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly before doing any work. The repairs were done right the first time, the turnaround was reasonable, and the pricing was very fair for the quality of work provided. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but this is definitely one of them. I’ll be bringing my vehicle back here in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable auto repair.
