Didn't appear to be a friendly place. No acknowledgement of me entering the store. 3 people at the counter - they were having too much fun goofing off with each other. 1 walked past me twice and never asked if I needed help.
I went into the Avon store today and was immediately approached by Roy, who assisted me with finding the right part for my car. He provided excellent service by explaining my options and recommending the best product. He even replaced the windshield wipers that I purchased as I was not sure how to do it myself. If I was able to give Roy more stars I would!!!
The place was pretty ok. I went in there looking for a few things to do my own oil change, and found everything I was after.
I'm not sure how the prices compare to their competitors as its been a little while since I've stepped into one of these types of shops, and the dumbbell tRump's tariffs hadn't taken effect.
One thing that annoyed me was that the clerk who was helping me initially sold me on a name-brand product rather than the more price effective store brand. I saw the issue before I left the register, and he was very helpful facilitating an exchange.
In today's economy, who can afford to waste money on frivolous things like fancy names? No thank you very much.
Way overpriced. I walked in looking to get a quality engine air filter and cabin air filter. I walked out without purchasing anything. I got an even higher quality filers at half the price on Amazon than they wanted to sell me here at advanced auto

Kailish was awesome and helped me get my new car battery in! Very personable and friendly . I tried to do the survey at the bottom of the receipt but the link just brings you to the general website on your phone and I couldn't find the survey !
Twice the price of all competitors. Went in to one person behind the counter googling things I ask him if anyone else is working he says "there has to be" then continues on his phone rather than calling for assistance in the store. Won't be returning to this location.
I got to say for advance Auto parts this one gives really good service they actually knew what I was talking about for once and they had my parts very professional team I give you guys to thumbs up
Walked into the store because was having battery issues. Woman comes to counter and says can I help you, in an unpleasant tone. I said good morning, and she just looked at me. Needless to say I walked right out.
Always helpful- one time they didnt have what i needed in the store, but were able to quickly order it for me from another location. 👍👍 By far better customer service than competitors in the area.
Was simply trying to buy some wiper blades. After finding the correct ones myself and waiting for five minutes, Janet was very pushy and rude while checking out. I did need other parts but didn't need rude customer service. Ill take my business elsewhere.
Tim was awesome! Just gave us a jump in the parking lot; we were lucky enough to be at a store in the plaza when it died. Gave me a good recommendation on a jump starter and offered to test the battery if we had any further issues and wanted to come back.
Didnt have battery model I needed. And pressured wife into purchasing most expensive battery in store. Would recommend doing biz with competitors in Canton if you are unsure of car facts or what's needed exactly.
Had wipers put on my 95 Blazer plow truck by Thomas G......without blinking an eye he came outside in the freezing cold in a snow storm and went thru two brands of wipers to find the best fit....and the ones that we ended up with were the least expensive ones. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
I had a battery tested here because another part store sold my wife a new battery.... Which was replaced February of this year. At the end of the day it was a bad alternator. The people at advance were able to test the battery and give me a print out to prove that the battery was good. Now I'm bringing the battery back with proof. Thank you to the competent staff at advance for saving us 100+ dollars. I will be back.
Very disappointed with my most recent visit. I stopped in on a Saturday a few weeks ago to buy some spark plugs, 6 in total. The person working there told me there were 3 in the store and 3 in the bristol store, he could have them delivered Sunday. I agreed, paid for the three he had and got a receipt saying the order had been placed. I came back the next day, confirmed that they had gotten a delivery from the bristol store, but my spark plugs were nowhere to be seen. The man behind the counter on this day was extremely unhelpful, and only called the store to find out where they were after I asked him too. Turns out the driver forgot them. I didn't make a big deal about it, he said the plugs could be here later that evening, so I left. I wasn't able to make it back for two days. When I came back on Tuesday, the man informed me he had only 2 of the 3 I had ordered. I came back a week later and finally got my plugs. This was hands down the most rediculous experience I've ever had buying auto parts, and I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I was a long time customer, but I don't think I will go back.
Great service!!! I came in from out of town and not only did the clerk help me find a mechanic to install the parts I bought he called in a favor to get me seen by them right away! Love this place and would recommend them to anyone.
I ordered parts online and had in-store pickup, their site and in-store computers gave me the incorrect part for my vehicle. I'd understand but it is a Honda Accord, not exactly a rare part. A simple Google search told me more than they could. But the parts are cheap and that's a big plus.
