The worst store ever. It doesn’t follow the posted schedule. On the internet and on their doors it says they open at 6AM. At 6:25 doors are locked.

Totally different from the one in Bridgeport. Caters to the Southport and Westport crowd. Many selections unavailable at other stop and shops.

Very clean and wide, I find everything I look for, great workers. I loved

We had a last minute July 4th party. I ordered July 3rd from the deli in the Westport store and Rakeith took care of me. Not only did he take the order but he made 4 amazing platters, all fresh, made with great care and ready on time. Awesome person representing your store and brand. Just a great experience.

I returned my bottles in Westport Ct. I like that the place is so clean and kept clean. And not crowded and not a long wait. I returned a total of 154.00 in cans. I cleaned my garage and the money helped with dinner and cleaning supplies.

Terrible, terrible store. Poorly stocked, dirty, rude disengaged staff that act as if they hate you for shopping there. Have lived nearby for 12 years - has only gotten worse although we’ve given them many chances. Most recently ordered a cake from bakery. Should have known better - bakery staff rude, cake not ready on time for pick up and they got the order wrong! Never again. We live less than a half a mile from this store and would rather drive 5 miles to Stew Leonard’s than ever shop here again. That says it all. Store should be shut down.

Solid store with great selection, the store is dated and could use a remodel! Staff has always been friendly and willing to help! Please add cart returns in your parking lot!!!!!!!!!

I've been going to Stop & Shop for 50 years and it is the store I prefer. But all of the stop and shop stores have a problem with their checkouts. Specifically where you put your items and where the paper bags are. It is in essence a scale. It does not work properly and wastes. Everybody's time and it's never corrected. It's been years and years and they still have not corrected it.

We had such a wonderful experience at Stop & Shop this past weekend! The employees were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make our visit special. They introduced us to Marty the robot, which absolutely delighted my son, and even gave him stickers and a Marty stuffed toy. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made his day! The store was clean, well-stocked, and had a welcoming atmosphere, but it was the kindness and enthusiasm of the staff that really stood out. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience for our family during the busy holiday season. We’ll definitely be back!

The merchandise is neatly displayed, the staff is friendly and professional, and there are plenty of parking spaces. However, the only downside is that there is no area in the parking lot specifically for shopping carts. I don't want to just throw my shopping cart in the parking lot like some people do, and I have to walk a long way to push it back every time. I hope you can sacrifice a few parking spaces to be converted into places for shopping carts!

July 16, 2024 at 9:35 am, I encountered a young man behind the deli counter I have not seen before. I ordered my standard Boars Head Ham sliced "almost shaved" The employee threw the ham on the slicer and proceed to cut the entire 1/2 pound order without even asking me if the cut was alright. It was not even cut as a thin cut. I told him that I was sorry, but I needed it much thinner again stating "almost shaved" just before it falls apart. No one else in the deli at this store or any other had ever had a problem achieving this. The deli employee said he could not get it any thinner without shaving it. I told him no one else has ever had a problem to please go thinner. I also told him that he should have shown me a slice before proceeding to cut the entire order. He was clearly frustrated and very argumentative. He put the ham back on the slicer and cut a piece, and asked me if it was better. I reluctantly told him it was a little better. He then stated well "it's the same thing"! I can only speculate that this comment meant he didn't even try to move the slicer to a thinner setting and was meant to be sarcastic and undermining towards me. I then told him to keep it and walked away very frustrated and without any deli order. I hesitated to complain to the store manager, so I left without doing so. I had a day to think about it and decided this review was warranted since the argumentative manner in which the employee spoke to me. Had he just explained he was inexperienced or unable to achieve my request in an apologetic manner I would have been left in a better mood leaving the store to start my own work day

It's great and extensive. This is better than Bridgeport's Stop and Shop.

It is what it is, like visiting Walmart. There's bare minimum customer service, snarky staff, sketchballs hovering around the parking lot. But it is the only supermarket in Westport, just not with super deals anymore. The only reason to go there is to find whatever Trader Joe's doesn't carry without driving to Norwalk. But this downward trend is town wide, so don't be surprised when you recognize it elsewhere.

It's not clear if some of the people who work here hate their jobs or they're always unhappy and disinterested. With the exception of the wonderful grocery aisle shelf stockers and cashiers, asking a question or for help from their fresh or prepared food departments is a very unpleasant experience. The worst department is the deli counter, but all departments have a bad customer service culture. They have a "what do you want" as opposed to a "how can I help you" approach. The grocery aisle selections are constantly changing, and once you begin to like a product or brand, it's discontinued. My impression is that their buying department homogenizes the assortment based only on supplier promotion and not empathy for the customer.

Not really sure how this place survives. They are typically under stocked and often out of products. They are definitely way over priced. It’s just so frustrating to have to shop here I guess they bank on the fact that you’re willing to shop here versus driving to ShopRite in Fairfield or Norwalk. Shoprite is such a great store.

The employees are generally very nice,only occasionally do they have a chip on their shoulder. The thing I don't understand is how they raise their prices every week.The same item costs me more every time I buy it (weekly).

The bakery manager is the best! Since we moved to the area she makes all of my kids cakes....they come out the cutest. Great customer service and attention to detail love her!!

Big and bright and just about everything you could ever want. Self check out and scanning devices make it even better. Every single employee I’ve interacted with there has been helpful and pleasant. Also love shopping in a store with that Paul Rand designed logo.

Clean & Bright. Noticeably better fresh produce counter displays than any other S&S/ Shop Rite/ Whole Foods in our region! Friendly & efficient associates. Only a quick visit but very pleased. Thank You.

The staff in your Greens Farms, Ct store is terrific. Just one recent example. Yesterday I saw Pat in your Produce Department help a customer looking for a particular sauce. She advised the product is shelved not in Produce but halfway down Aisle 5 on the right. Remarkable service, but by no means rare in this store. As I said, terrific staff. Every single one of them. A superb grocery store with healthy, fresh choices. An outstanding bakery, great fresh fruits and vegetables. Healthy choices at great prices. Beautiful flowers and plants catch your eyes when you walk in. So many choices and fantastic meat and fish. My go to store in Connecticut

A big store with a vast and varied stock. Be sure to check GoodRx coupons if you need prescriptions, you may save hundreds, and I'm not exaggerating. They offer really good value on food, especially if you get their weekly coupons. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Very nice stop and shop: notably better produce and fish selections than any other I've been to in Fairfield county. Prices are exactly the same as far as I can tell. We get most of our common staples and ingredients here.

I rarely come to this store but out of convenience stopped in. Came here for just a few items and this store sold me 3 meat items that were EXPIRED. I didn’t realize until after getting home!! Plus HORRIBLE customer service at the “solution Center”! (If you work in customer service please be courteous to the customer instead of always having a bad attitude.) The manager apologized which was appreciated. If you shop here please check the dates on your items!

I went in to purchase for a client. I normally go to North Haven where everyone is friendly and helpful. Well the man who checked me out was not friendly at all to me and to the lady before me. Then I leave, look at my receipt and I did not get the sale prices. I go back in and the woman at the courtesy booth does not great me and seemed angry that I came back for my order to be fixed. She states I did not use my S&S card. Well I did and I heard it when it was put through. Well a very bad experience. You should really talk to your employees. Next time I go to Shoprite when in Fairfield!!!!!!

Went shopping today. Haven't been in the store for months. It had everything I needed. Needed help locating items. A staff member escorted me to find several items. I also like the use of paper bags rather than plastic. I live in a country that hasn't outlawed plastic bags or styrofoam. Good to know.
