They towed my car, when I got it back there was literally a GASH in the side of my tire. Somebody didn’t do their job right and they take no accountability.
Just going to start out by saying I never leave reviews ever but feel the need to do so as I had an extremely positive experience with midtown Auto body. Had car issues and needed a tow. Jeremiah called me letting me know he would be there in 20 minutes. Was extremely friendly and helpful. Would 100% use them again. Thanks again Jeremiah.
Worst experience ever Bridgeport Police , took my car , there after I call to get it out they will give me a 320$ amount to take my car out , sign the paperwork and my car no where to be found after the 3 parking lot car is found
Charged me 150$ to get my car off the lift , only the front end of my car was on . Was towed because my lot didn’t inform me about paving days. Slimey and bad business
I just picked up my vehicle today. After an auto accident. Midtown put my vehicle back together like brand new! Dustin and crew took care of my car and put my mind at ease with any question I asked. i wish i could give zero stars towing company refused to tow my car . stating it “was a waste of time “ . i waited a whole hour. i will never do business with this company again
Their sign for service is posted at my lot, the property I am permitted to park in as I just recently moved into an apartment in the area. Called them regarding violator parked in my spot. After 2 hours of waiting for a move or at the minimum; an update, I called to follow up. I was told they did not tow the individual’s vehicle in my parking spot because “only one wheel was parked over the line”.
Even if some of the vehicle is over the line, it is not possible to appropriately park in my own spot that I pay monthly for. On top of this, the violator did not even have a parking pass.
Why would a business post advertisement in the same lot they claim their services are to help the residents?
This business does not deliver the service they claim to offer. On top of this, the man working was very rude.
This sign is misleading as they don’t tow any violators.
I am new to this area and have already seen multiple instances of unauthorized vehicles parked here for hours and nothing happens.
My situation has been escalated to my property manager regarding the poor service here. I advise those reading this to take precaution on their unprofessional behavior and minimum input of effort to help out a client.

Mid-town is wonderful, in the span of using their towing services 3x in the course of 2 months, they have been very nice and informative and very helpful when I needed them. And their customer service is top notch. Thank you guys
"I met the owner Mid-Town AUTO BODY INC, Dustin in May of 2023, when I had a problem with my Dodge Grand Caravan it was badly damaged on the front left side and no one would take it? Dusted not only took it fixed it straightened out the frame and it works perfectly fine! Dustin the owner is a trustworthy, and really cares about your vehicle! I take all my vehicles to him because I don't trust anyone else! He's an honest caring and the best customer service that any owner of any shop is! Not only does he accept the work, He will personally Overlook and inspect He will see through to the end!! My insurance coming contacted another company and when questioned told me a two hour wait! They then sent Jeremiah who was there in 10 minutes and was professional and a pleasure to deal with. It was cold and getting dark, he had me towed in minutes. I would give 20 stars if I could, as you can see I highly recommend!
They were open to tow our car, but closed when we went to pick it up. They didn't mention that on the phone, just told us to have cash. When someone finally showed up to collect our cash they made a point to say we should be grateful they were nice enough to take time out of their day so we could "go on with our day." I'd unlock a gate for $250 in cash especially when it was my job. You'll notice all the positive reviews mention someone by name.

How is this place contracted by reputable car insurance companies is what I was left questioning after tonight’s experience. In short, a collection of all the previous 1-star reviews, left with damaged vehicle and treated in the most disrespectful unprofessional manner. Very upsetting.
Jeremias impressed me with his profession service. He came quickly within 10 minutes after I submitted my request to Allstate. He towed my car to Costco and even waited there in the cold weather in late evening to make sure that I was able to get help from Costco to fix my flat tire. I am thankful for your great service and considerate gestures. I highly recommend the services to those who in needs.
About a week ago I ran over a random nail in the Target parking lot in Milford. I parked my car with its flat in Walmart parking lot. I sent out for roadside assistance through State Farm. This was at like 8pm and within 5 minutes he called with his ETA of 20 min, and that he was on his way. When he came out in the rain, he literally had the tire changed to my donut within 5 minutes. Quickest roadside assistance ever. Made a big difference in my night because I was trying to pick up a prescription before the pharmacy closed at 9pm. He had me ready to go by 8:30!! I am very thankful.
Complete scumbags! Roadside assistance requested a tow at 3:18 in Stratford. They said pickup by 3:44. I called roadside. Midtown told them 15 minutes. I called Midtown at 4:15. They told me by 4:30. I called back at 5 they told me they will be there shortly. I called roadside at 6 asking them what is taking so long. Roadside said they will call me back in 5 minutes. I call roadside back at 6:30. They put me on hold and said Midtown canceled the call. I call Midtown back and ask what happened. The same rude woman said that Roadside canceled it and hung up after refusing to get my car. Roadside never canceled it. I did ask Midtown to have the manager call me back considering 2 of the former owners live right on my street. The car was to be towed 1 mile. Don't waste 4 hours of your life with a company that has no, absolutely NO customer service ability.
PLEASE AVOID!!! I’ve never dealt with a more unprofessional company. Rafael the tow truck driver calls and tells me he’s 40 min away leave the keys with the car. 15 min later he’s calling me telling me he can’t find the car….clearly lying. Talk to the manager tells me car must have been towed. Go back and the car is right where I left it. Call the manager back tells me to call AAA. Straight thieves and liars.
Its Thanksgiving 2021. My parents car got towed from a friends apartment building. We call the tow company and the person- perhaps a woman- who picked up made fun of us saying they saw us on video and laughed because to them it looked like my parents read the tow sign and still parked. No one asked for that, we just wanted the car. My elderly parents go down to the lot to get the car and it wasnt there. I'm at home and I hear ab this 30m after my parents had been waiting, empty lot, no answer on the company phone- by which I mean my mom calls, it sounds like someone picks up, and then there's silence. So I call from home, speak to the person about how long my parents have been waiting, the person puts me on hold- I'm still on hold, it's been 30m now. These ppl ask for cash and my elderly parents had to wait in an empty lot at night, with no word from the company. The car arrived about an hour after my parents had been waiting. Again, as I type I'm still on hold. My only thought is that maybe the person who thought the fact that our car got towed and we had to pay 250 in cash was funny, saw in the video that we're Black, and decided to treat us like trash. Your business has no place in a diverse city like bridgeport where ppl are struggling to get by.
I couldn't be home due to being at work but my mother was, the white older gentleman that attended her was just rude and absolutely nasty. My mother who doesn't speak English that well tried to give him the phone so he could speak to me but he completely dismissed her and took the key. I wouldn't recommend there services to anyone.
What can I say.... every time a car gets towed by a company they steal something from the car. You mean to tell me that everything was in the car but my Ray Bans and my phone were not located. This happened to me with another tow truck company as well so... Honestly, if you’re gonna be scammers, think before you act. Phones can be tracked down.
I called ahead to discuss my towing needs. On the day of, they were ready, prompt, professional & helpful. A nice change from other tow companies that leave you waiting. Highly recommend for all your towing needs.
I needed my car towed within 5 miles my roadside assistance allows. Confirmed by my Insurance provider. My Insurance sent Mid town Auto body and before they came out it was agreed that I would pay $23.50 for any additional equipment used to tow the vehicle which was suppose to be a dolly. The driver Anibal, was very helpful and knowledgeable so a dolly was not used or needed thanks to the driver. I call Midtown and spoke to Lou who gave several reasons why I should pay $23.50 regardless of whether they used the dolly or not. DISHONEST and unprofessional. Not arguing over$23.50 but here's your review for your dishonesty and unprofessionalism LOU. My insurance company is reimbursing me for the inconvenience of dealing with liars. Hope your happy with your $23.50. Enjoy!
Very rude and unprofessional towing service. Today my client was force to get into her car while her truck was hanging off a cliff she told the driver she was afraid to get into in and put in on Neutral but he made do it even while neighbor who by the way is a fireman offered to take her place because he saw the fear in her eyes. the tow driver refused to let him help her. After calling the company to speak with the manager to complain about the situation he was very rude to me who by the way I am from the dealership that my client bought her F150 from. The manager hung up on me instead of apologizing to me for his staff unprofessional inconsiderate behavior. I suggest anyone who needs towing services to stand clear from this company.
I was in a car accident at the end of Dec. they came right away after I called them. The police called 2 other as well. & said it goes with who gets here first. But luckily Mid-Town the 1 I called was there first & I was gone & the others still had not come. So I asked one of the owners 2 please be honest & tell me if u think it’s totaled & he said he would. Because i believe if he did not help me. the insurance was going 2 total it Because the price 2 fix it was so close 2 the totaled amount. But I knew if it was totaled I’d never get something comparable to that. even though it’s a 2015 it only has 12 thousand miles on it & is mint shape. So they still would of only gave me not much over book value & I’d of still had 2 add about 15 to 20 grand 2 get even a 2018 left over. So he spoke 2 the guy into letting them fix it. They looked it over first to make sure the frame or engine was not messed up at all. I even said if this was your child’s car would you feel comfortable fixing it & not worrying about there safety & he said yes I would fix it. So they have been working on it & I haven’t seen it. But I have a part 2 drop of tomorrow. so I’m sure I’ll see the progress they are making. I can tell from people I know that have been 2 them & there great reviews online. I’m very confident that once they are done with it that it will feel like it did when it was brand new again. So if you need car service. or a quote or anything. Call during the day and ask for Dustin he is one of the owners and is a very pleasant & helpful person and will answer all your questions and give you the best deal possible. I will write another review once I get my car back once they are finished. They are probably the most fair price place. I’ve ever seen in Connecticut. recommend them 2 anyone that needs both body work or mechanical work
I had my car towed from Price Rite on Boston Ave to my house on William Street. This is like a 5 to 8 minute drive depending on traffic conditions. Called at 9:50 pm and my car was towed safely into my driveway by Dave at 11 pm. He was a nice guy who made sure my car didn't take any damage as we rolled it into the backyard. Mid-Town uses a flatbed which I think is better than the hook and chain tow trucks some other services use. Price was $100 which I thought was fair as I've paid a lot more before in other areas.
We required towing service as the CV joint on the car collapsed. After making contact by phone, the driver arrived within 30 minutes. He was polite and professional. Thank you Midtown.
