Do not go here. They overcharged 3x the amount estimated without calling to ask if it was ok. I was quoted $250 to get my AC fixed, was called and said the car was done and it was going to be $750. They admitted it was not their typical procedure to not inform the client of the changes in the estimate. If I knew they would have done something to my car without my permission, I easily would’ve taken it elsewhere. If you choose to take your car here, make sure to get your estimate IN WRITING as now they’ve screwed me over for their mistake, lack of communication, and money grabbing schemes. They are dishonest and do not take accountability for their mistakes. Save yourself a headache!!!

We are from south texas on a rv camping trip, our truck started to dangerously overheat. Park rangers recommended us Home Town Garage. They found the issue quickly and got us back on the road within a few hours. They were so kind and even offered to give us a ride to our campsite. We are truly thankful to have found this place. Highly recommend!

Over $500 for a transmission fluid change.... Absolutely ridiculous! I came in here last year, got a brand new radiator, radiator hoses, thermostat and new fluids. And cost me $320... New ownership? What a joke.. And a waste of my morning 🌅

I should have written this review last October. I think it was then they replaced an axle on my car. I couldn't ask for more. The car is riding smoothly. Know what else I liked? They inspire a bit of trust in me and that is ever so important.

Kudos to Dennis, owner of Home Town Garage, and his crew. He bent over backwards and jumped through hoops to find all the parts to fix my very old car and the charges were extremely fair. Quality service. Couldn't be more satisfied!

No tires on the spot. Great service though. He couldn't help me because they have to order tires from the springs but he did his best and was very helpful. Then he came and asked if I had a spare but my trunk is full

I was really impressed with this garage, their service level and the people who work there and would recommend them to anyone looking for assistance with any car problem. We were staying in the area for a week's vacation when my car's engine started overheating while driving through Woodland Park. I immediately called around trying to find a place that would look at my car, and the first two places told me they all were too busy and couldn't even find time to look at. When I called Home Town Garage, they also said they were extremely busy, but they could, at least look at my car and let me know the problem. When I arrived at their garage it was obvious they were also jammed, but Dennis had a technician immediately look at my car, ... and found my water pump had blown. Over the next 5 hours they were able to get a new water pump delivered to their garage, and get it installed. Plus, while they worked on my car they actually had an employee drive my wife and I back to our cabin in Green Mountain Falls, and then came back to get me when the car was finished. I just wished they were located in the northern Dallas area, where we live, so they could handle all of my car problems. Of course, then I would have been in real trouble when my water pump blew while driving through Woodland Park. Thank you, Dennis, we really appreciate your help.

I will not be taking any of my vehicles anywhere else! These guys are patient, reasonably priced, and are genuinely committed to to customer service. I sincerely appreciate how thorough they are in their work and how knowledgeable they are across the board.

Called Dennis on Friday late afternoon. Drive shaft carrier bearing shot, sounded like 2 metal parts grinding. Got me in on Monday am. Had drive shaft sent out to have new carrier bearing pressed on, all new universal joints intalled and balanced. Had me ready to go Monday before he closed. Thank God. I was from out of state and was stranded. Fantastic crew. Thanks again!

Dropped off my car for a diagnostic on an odd sound it sometimes makes when starting. Dennis was upfront with me in pricing and didn’t try to force or upsell any repairs. While talking story with him, I also found out he is a former veteran! I appreciate the excellent customer service, transparency, and human connection. Aloha. 🤙🏼

Home Town Garage is most professional auto shop I have aver used. I had a some front end work completed at another auto shop within the past 30 days. I was turning into a parking lot and my front tire actually fell off. Luckily I was only going 5 mph. I called Dennis at Home Town Garage because I wasn’t taking it back to the place that did the work before. I had it towed to Home Town Garage for assessment. Dennis determined it was faulty technical work from the front end work at the other establishment. Dennis called them on my behalf and had their manager and the technician come to Home Town Garage and review their faulty work. Home Town Garage was able to fix all repairs with 24 hours at the expense of the other establishment. Dennis and Home Town Garage went above and beyond to fix my issue and now have a customer for life!!!

We love this place! The owners are jeepers and know 4x4s! They know diesels and foreign autos too. They’re fairly priced and have a team of great mechanics. So far they’ve worked on both our dodges and all three of our Jeeps! They’re rarely or more than a week. Highly recommend them!

I had a 2001 Tundra timing belt replaced and live up in woodland so I figured I would give them a go. I worked with Dennis who was very easy going and up front about the work that needed to be done. He called me several times providing me an update on the status of my truck. The price was also several hundred dollars less than what the Toyota dealer quoted me. I will definitely be going back in the future and couldn't be happier with the experience.

Great people at hometown. I blew a motor and they were very understanding about it sitting for a few days. Then the next vehicle i had needed some major repairs and they were very timely and straight forward with the timeline and cost. Dennis is very helpful. Will definitely be using their services again.

He is amazing and thorough in his work. He's also very honest. It cost me nothing because he ran a number of tests and checked all possible reasons my car overheated and found nothing wrong. He has a loyal customer now. He is also funny and friendly 😁🥰

I had a great experience at Home Town Garage. We were on a road trip with our camper and our tow vehicle started overheating. They got us in that day, found the part, and we’re able to install it right away and get us back on the road. I highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with this shop! I brought my car in for a specific issue to be addressed and while they had my car they also found a leak in my radiator. Bob was completely thorough I'm his communications with me There were some things covered by my warranty and some that cost out of pocket. They let me know my cost before doing anything. My car is now running great!

GREAT people operating a GOOD shop for vehicle service! Lonnie & Adair and team are ethical & honest with work needed… that says a lot. And the work done is done right. They even drive you home after dropping your vehicle there, and will pick you up when ready!

I've had very good experiences with Hometown Garage. Tom and his crew are always very nice and friendly. I've had experiences where they have given me options to repair parts that other garages would have insisted I replace in order to help save me money. They did this with a broken ignition in my Acura MDX. They had a locksmith rework it when they legitimately could have recommended it be completely replaced because they knew my family wasn't prepared for the issue financially. They're good people, and they're trustworthy.

I brought my 4Runner up here because my steering was getting hard to turn and I had a squeak somewhere. My power steering needed repaired which was expected, but then once I mentioned I had a warranty they seemed to tack on more issues every 2-3 days. I would call, and they discovered something new while fixing the initial issue. Then something else broke while fixing that. All fine and dandy except the last time it was something they broke and obviously the warranty did not cover it because it wasn’t originally an issue. This took over two weeks to get settled and fixed. Then after $3,400 dollars I pick up my car and it was still squeaking. No idea how they couldn’t hear that but even when I had a mechanic get in the car I had to drive around the parking lot while he pretended he couldn’t hear it. It was blatantly obvious, and then he said I could leave the car and they would look at it. Not a chance I was leaving it there any longer. I also got a new issue after this trip, my automatic start no longer works. Most people would say to bring it back and let make them fix it, but I wouldn’t bring a toy car back to that place. There are plenty of other places to bring your car in the area, don’t waste your time and money here.

Finally an honest automotive shop!!! First one in forever. I would trust Tom and Lonnie for anything and so blessed to have found them when the last guy I had to give up on after years of bad service. There's none better in Woodland or even Colorado Springs that I know of. I have a 20 year old pickup, runs like a charm. New clutch sure is better the first clutch replaced. They check everything even if you do not ask, will tell you where your car stands, what may happen in a year or two, etc. Very informative and knowledgeable. If you check prices they are priced right and very fair. These guys work hard!

I am so grateful that our little town has a professional and qualified automotive service shop. Home Town Garage not only knows what they are doing, they do it well and they are friendly and helpful in the process. Trust me, all of that is a rare commodity in the Pikes Peak region. Our region is thick with so called automotive repair shops but getting competent and friendly service is hard to do. You get all of that and more at Home Town. Honestly, I didn't want to write this good review because I want to keep Home Town our little secret. But these guys are just too good.

Since moving to this area I found myself needing a service facility that could handle anything I might need done. I found the Home Town Garage and I am really glad I did. They have handled all the service work I have needed for my two Jeeps and have done excellent work each time I called on them! In addition to that I got a tremendous deal on a new set of tires from Tom. They have tackled every job I presented them with and have always done a great job! Lonnie and his entire team are well qualified to handle whatever you might need them to do and I believe you will be happy with their work! I know I am!

Tom and his wife went above and beyond for me. The new power steering pump they received and put on my car went bad, they fixed it at no charge and even offered to drive me to Cripple Creek and pick me up while they worked on my car. These are amazing, honest, caring people. There staff is great and truly went above and beyond for me. Thank you all so much, I will definitely bring my vehicle back to this garage 😊
