Took in my old truck when it wouldn't go into 4 wheel drive. Assumed it was the actuator which we'd replaced ourselves a decade ago. Dropped the truck off in the morning and it was finished by lunchtime. They replaced the actuator without trying to add on any additional charges and the bill was a fair price for the work done. Prompt, honest, fair price. Can't ask for more than that.
I travel full time…well over 100,000 miles within the past few years. With that kind of wear, you can imagine how often I have had to have work done on my vehicle. I have seen a lot of mechanics and THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Courteous, fast, knowledgeable, friendly. Most mechanics have complained, estimated time-frames of a week or more, way over-charged, or even outright refused me service with the issues I was having on my vehicle. Pickies took it on confidently and got it done in two days without cutting any corners.
Holy smokes. My husband and I are from Nebraska and travel the country full-time. We have had our vehicle repaired in just about every place you can imagine: NE, NC, VT, SD, CA, UT, ect. It just so happened our truck needed a repair in Fruita, CO while on our way to Washington state. We have never had the amazing contact, report, quote, timeliness, or pricing as pickies garage. Jeremiah was incredibly quick, friendly, and kept us in the loop throughout the process. Never have we ever had such an incredible experience at a mechanics shop. Honestly, tempting to drive here from Omaha, NE next time just to get work done by this amazing team again. GO HERE!!

Took my truck down to get a new starter. Everything was better than expected so don't get me wrong, but when I started to drive my truck something was off.. They'd also touched up my power steering so now the wheel glides like butter in a hot pan!!! Customer FOR LIFE!
By far the best experience I’ve had with an Autoshop! The guys were professional from the moment I called. I felt respected and taken care of. Honest feedback from them regarding my vehicle. Fair price and fast service. Very thankful I discovered them online as I passed through town and my vehicle became disabled. They managed to get me in right away and get me on the road fast! Already recommended them to my mother if she’s ever needing a mechanic in the area.

This shop is superbly run by Caleb, the owner, and a crew of professionals. At the outset, Jeremy and Chase gave the immediate impression of honesty and technical knowledge as they evaluated a brakes problem and other issues on my Toyota Tundra. Caleb then followed through with a final assesment, dutyfully explaining what needed to be done.
The job was completed promptly (as in let's take it in NOW--no wait, no fuss). The parts started arriving within 5 minutes and I was out of there in less than 3 hours on a major brakes job. The cost did not break my bank. They even gave me a ride and back so I could get some groceries done while they worked on it.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I was out in Fruita, making a delivery and my car was making this horrible sound and i didn't want to drive it. I called Pickies because I saw such good reviews. I was surprised and thrilled that they sent Steve over to my location because I had no idea how I was going to get my car over there. Steve figured out the problem in probably 30 seconds and fixed it. I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you so much!!!!
My family was on a trip from Texas to California and our car broke down on the second day. Pickies Garage happened to be the closest mechanic shop we could find and we managed to limp the car there. The guys there took care of us right away and were so good! The price was fair, and we were back on the road in about two and a half hours. We just finished driving 8 hours and the car ran great the whole way! If I lived in that town they would definitely be my go to mechanics!

My car broke down in Fruita on a very long road trip. They supplied me with water and a place to stay for an hour or 2 while they looked at my car and I figured out what to do next. Absolutely amazing people there who are so genuine and kind.

Had a bent sway bar bracket on my 4x4 RV and stopped in to see if they could straighten it. They had to heat it to bend it back in position and they didn't even charge me. I was back on the road in 10 minutes. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Saved us an entire day on our vacation.

Recommend this garage very highly. My daughter was in recent fender bender incident, and car was making a scraping sound after getting new rim and tire. Got her in next day to just look no charge got under the car on the hot pavement no hoist was available at the time and let us know just the fender needed more adjustment and made suggestion to fix, he was amazing, just overall a really great guy!!!
My check engine lights came on as my friend and I were towing a trailer across the country. We were lucky enough to find Pickies on google maps just a half-hour before closing time. The tech there was clear that there wasn’t enough time to do any repairs that day if we needed them, but he was happy to run the diagnostic codes. The tech was friendly and clear. We got it all figured out, adjusted what needed adjusting, and my friend and I got back on the road without issue. If I was sticking around in Fruita, I think Pickies would be my go-to auto shop.
Pickies Garage was a lifesaver today! I was camping nearby with my 1997 Ford Expedition where I engaged the four wheel drive system to get one tire onto a rock to level the car at the campsite. When I drove the car several days later it would not switch out of four wheel low into 2 wheel drive. Max speed was 25 mph and I couldn't drive home to Denver. I arrived at Pickies and although they were very busy, Steve took my car into the shop right away and after downloading the car's computer codes was able to switch into regular 2 wheel drive. I was able to drive home without any problem. Big Thanks to Pickies and to Steve. Wow, they really made my day!
My daughter just came in this afternoon because the oil lube place said she had a bad leak and recommended Pickies. They looked at it right away and said it wasn't a big deal and that it was ok to drive. Talk about being honest! As a dad, I am very thankful for people like this because they could easily take advantage of people. I highly recommend and the next time my daughter has car issues this will be her first choice to call. Thanks again!!
This is the best auto shop I have ever been to. We had our brakes go out on our way to camping at 4 pm on a Friday afternoon. They took us in right away, called in favors to get us the parts needed, and stayed over an hour past closing just to finish so we could keep driving though that night. It was a fair price, incredible service. I can’t tell you how grateful we are! We would recommend them a thousand times over.
Love the guys at Pickies! They took care of me after BigO misdiagnosed my car. I ended up leaving with tries, an alignment, and a smile, rather than paying over 4 times as much for unnecessary repairs at BigO. I highly recommend working with Jeremiah and the guys at Pickies, I definitely will be back for any future car needs I may have.
Words aren’t sufficient to describe the top notch customer service at Pickies. I stopped on my way out of state and I had no appointment and they fixed my car’s issue in less than 15 minutes. I won’t take my autos anywhere else. Fast, reliable and honest. Amazing.
So far so good.. it's always hard to trust mechanic shops, but I've had a few things done here and some regular maintenance on my Toyotas... The guys here have always been fair fast friendly and efficient. Pricing is affordable when compared to a lot of other places that may not even do as good of a job. Schedule times are not that far out so it's possible to get work done without waiting for a month. I am so glad to have them in town.

I was on a mountain bike road trip with girlfriends when our RV lost battery power. We rolled up to Pickies feeling kinda desperate after calling a few other shops. The 2 guys that helped us were awesome! They had us back up and running in less than an hour. They were super friendly and very competent. We highly recommend Pickies!
I needed an upgraded steering stabilizer put on my lifted Jeep. Caleb was able to get me right in, great communication, very personable and great service. I was very impressed with how clean his new shop was. I will surely be using Caleb for any of my mechanical needs. Definitely worth checking out.
