We celebrated a 70th wedding anniversary at Waunita Hot Springs Ranch, and it was unforgettable. The hot springs pool, cozy lodging, created the perfect setting, and the hospitality made us feel like family. The couple we celebrated with have been coming for generations, and now we understand why—Waunita is truly a place where memories and traditions thrive.

Perfect family reunion location. Plenty of cozy rooms, kind and accommodating hosts, awesome hot springs pool and hot tub, incredible scenery, adorable animals, giant kitchen and dining hall, large field for games and gathering, and even a barn with a stage for more gathering. We made great memories and always love our time here!

Such a beautiful setting and VERY nice people - but for a "discounted" $200 a night....it was beyond "rustic". I appreciate the history and the fact that it's multi generational family owned.....but my goodness does it ever need some serious renovation.

Super cozy and family-friendly environment. Guests get everything they need: place to sleep, soak in 100-105F all natural hot springs, showers if needed, small gift shop. Very clean! Highly recommend to experience nature's healing power in this third generation faimily owned hot springs!

What a magical place this is!! The staff is kind, courteous, & go above & beyond!!! The hot spring pool was phenomenal, the hot tubs simply the best, the views breathtaking & a place only God could have created!!! We loved every minute of our swimming experience & will hold the memory so dear to our hearts!!! If you visit Gunnison or near by towns please come grab the experience of a life time at this magnificent hot spring ranch!!! In between gorgeous views & an exquisite experience, you will be mesmerized!!!

When riding the Colorado BDR this is a great place for the night. Beautiful setting, fabulous hot springs and comfortable beds made our group happy after camping off the trail for 3 days. Much needed rest in a super peaceful setting. Highly recommend!

i love the mountains and the view, i had a great time and would go again. the water smelled funny but that didn’t bother me, the rooms are clean and comfy. i dont recommend going before you get sick. so i recommend this place 1000% to anybody.

Our visit to Waunita Hot Springs Ranch has become an annual tradition going on 3 summers now with friends. We bring together several families and love that each family gets their own space (adjacent or adjoining room for kids, private bathrooms) and that we can cook our own meals as a group. We love the ranch and all it has to offer families with young kids. The hot springs-fed pool is of course a favorite but there are endless things to do or not do. Relaxing on the front porch for a chat with friends and watching the hummingbirds is great for the soul too. The remoteness and connection to nature is a great recharge. The Pringle family is wonderful and we’ve enjoyed getting to know them over the years. We look forward to returning every summer and watching how each new trip around the sun brings us all back together, growing up, and growing older.

Awesome place, Olympic size pool was hot! 4 to 7 feet deep and 2 hot tubs! The changing rooms were clean and hot! 25.00 each adult we will be back

Our family had 25 show up at the ranch and they met all our expectations. The service and accomodations were spectacular!! Thank you, staff!!

Went here for a family reunion at the end of June. The place was very nice and clean. We had the hot springs pool to ourselves the whole weekend. The pool had bugs during the day, but it is an outdoor pool, so I guess bugs should be expected. Otherwise, it was a very clean pool. There is no WiFi and very limited phone service in certain areas. Days were hot with very chilled winds, and nights were VERY cold as well.

Really peaceful setting, great hot springs and awesome hospitality. Loved the rich history of the place and the eclectic funky vibe. If you’re looking for simple, straightforward and comfortable, this is your place.

Lovely place to relax. Hot springs are fabulous! Be sure to bring snowshoes in the winter and you can get some cardio exercise in when you're bored from all the relaxing:)

Such a great place. The owners are truly delightful, the views are enrapturing, and the water is the perfect temperature.

Awesome does not even begin to explain this place. The scenery was beautiful. The hiking was incredible. And the host and hostess were extremely helpful. If you want to cut yourself off from electronics and enjoy the best outdoor activity Colorado can provide, this is the place. At the ranch there is volleyball, corn hole, a big yard for Frisbee, and a natural hot spring pool and hot tub. Off the ranch is some of the best hiking in the west, and the host was so knowledgable to point out the best hiking if you want a challenge or if you just want to enjoy God's beautiful creation.

Stayed with several families for three nights. Amazingly beautiful place. Weather was perfect while we stayed there. Very much enjoyed the starry sky view from the hot tub at night. It's located in a fairly remote place with no cell service, but there's a phone at the lobby if you need. We did our own cooking using the kitchen that was pretty well-equipped to feed many. Activities we did include volleyball, playing pool, ping pong, hiking, ATV, swimming, feeding horses, hay ride etc. We had a such wonderful time and hopefully we can come back again soon.

What a treasure this place is! Our extended family of 40 people held a reunion here for 5 days and 4 nights. It was amazing. The rooms are cozy. The setting is breathtaking. The hosts are friendly, helpful and responsive. The hot springs pool and hot tub are soothing. The facilities were perfect for our large group. We were able to use their kitchen to prepare most of our meals, but had them provide our last dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious. There are countless activities available on site and in the area which kept everyone entertained. It was about as close to a perfect venue for our gathering as could be. The only small critique, and I write this admitting that so much of the charm of this place is that it allows you to disconnect, is that wifi isn't great and only was available in the main lodge and not in the Hillside Lodge. For most of us this was not a big deal whatsoever but a couple members of my party needed to work a little during the stay. One just decided to go in to Gunnison a during the day a couple of days to get a better connection. Again, a minor issue, but you should be aware that when you plan your trip, make sure strong fast wifi isn't a priority. Overall this place is a gem. I highly recommend it for any large group activity, retreat or reunion.

Great springs located away from people. It's peaceful and quiet there. The prices are not too expensive. They also have rooms available. I had a great experience there.

Amazing place to getaway and be with nature! We went for a family getaway of about 40 people and had a great time. The pool is amazing, the views, the entire property is clean and kept up by the owners. We will definitely go back.

The Pringles (owners) are super friendly and helpful. They cook up a delicious breakfast and dinner. They have cute rooms. The hot spring is huge and relaxing. My friends had a wedding here this weekend and it was very beautiful.

A wonderful family run and family friendly ranch. The horses are very well kept, the food and accommodations are authentic Western ranch style- simply a great place for a riding centered vacation. We have been going back with three generations of our family for ore than 20 years.
