I called before I went in they said they had a starter available and it's already been removed so I should have been able to go in
and pick it up in a matter of minutes.....guess again. I arrive to find at least 5 employees and the owner inside no one even acknowledged me so after a few minutes I'm getting mad I left after 45 minutes of no communication the service was horrific
By far one of the strangest experiences I've ever had business wise one of the parts pullers is a total weirdo given us packing peanuts talking to himself looking around in the sky, another guy well he just did his best to avoid everybody then there was this one guy at the parts counter total total disrespectful ignorant guy with his face buried in the computer and the part I bought was supposed to be at grade a insurance Park so that's what I paid for and I ended up getting a steering gear box that need needed a complete resale kit and needed a new steering sector shaft because the one was cracked from the intensive beating that the steering gearbox undertook when they were trying to get this interlink off the pitman arm. But all is said and done and my steering works great so even though it took you all day to pull that gearbox thanks for getting it done
ABC did not have the part i needed but was.more than willing to help us find it. Mark found two places online who likely had it in their inventory, gave me the inventory number, the address, and phone number to call. We are keeping their number even though we live in another state. We will call them again. They take customer service to a new level.
Quality, affordability, outstanding service, punctual, the list goes on. These guys know their stuff, and all the employees, in the office, and out in the yard are very polite and extremely friendly. My go to place for used auto parts.
All though I live in Durango Colorado I was looking all over seen you on the Google after speaking with the nice gentleman on the phone I found my transmission not to bad on the Price and gave me no hassle I would recommend ABC used auto parts give them a go you won't be disappointed.
ABC wants me to update my review based upon how they view their site: I did. 2* was my review. I changed it to 3*, but I wanted to use their site more to see if I was missing out on something or overlooked something. Nah. I didn’t. I changed it from 3* back to 2*.
Your industry standard isn’t so industry standard. I have been to many websites in many cities in many states where the website is very accessible and easy. If I want to view your cars, just show me. If I spent to narrow down my search extremely specific to one part, and continue to marrow down my search to features on that part then let me do an advanced search, don’t make the advanced search the only way.
Go do a search real quick. 2009 BMW 335. Why do truck beds pull up as an option? So many irrelevant options I have to scroll through. The generic list knows no car and is generic to everything on a vehicle. Already a hinderance there, that’s gross. Why can’t I type anything in anywhere? Just a dropdown of selections that have what, a thousand selections?
Anyways, continue the search. A relevant search this time that doesn’t bring you to a contact form (hopefully). Do Mirror, Door. —-> Welcome to a screen that fills your entire phone screen. And somewhere down the line there is a heated power option I selected and there is a $100 mirror, and then a $500+ mirror and they are both listed as aftermarket? Wow. Just show me ALL the mirrors and then have the descriptions next to them. Mirrors have different styles and range from 2006-2011 in this model of car (e90). You do broaden the year I type in to allow me to select 2009 and you show me 2011 since that’s LCI of e90. But if you choose 2006 BMW, Door, Mirror you get shown a page that doesn’t even need to be there. It does now show you can change years for interchange parts, but the page is just ugly and another hurdle to get through and you have to know interchange years. Just show me a “no search results found, here are results from outside your search” where it then shows 2009-2011 if you, as a business, know, or just relevant searches that are from other models since those can also be interchange sle. Cause that would make sense since they’re interchangeable and just shown to me without me having to enter more information on every page.
If this is industry standard then break the industry standard, like other junkyards, and create a better experience.
I am so sorry I penalize you with an honest review. It’s 2024 and your site behaves like it’s from 2004. I’m not even interested in continuously clicking random options to show extremely narrowed down results, or blank contact pages you want me to fill out.
And you expect me to just “know” I can text you, “right?” Nowhere is that advertised, not even on Google’s description that you can type in and take advantage if that space however you want. On Google you have to hit “see all” and then it shows you a message icon, which says you typically respond within a day. “Typically” I want to see inventory now while I’m on your site, not texting in a typical days time frame.
And even on that you have “Updates” on a tab of the Google location… that hasn’t been updated since 2022.
I’m sorry my honest review and honest expectations of how a site should work and honest realization that I hate how your site operates is a penalization to you. Think about how inconvenient it is to me, if a business cares about feedback from someone wanted to do business with them.

I just want to search the website for a model of a car. I don’t want to specify exactly what car and exactly what part. It’s 2024, guys. Catch up with digital. “BMW 3 Series” is all I should be able to search for, or even BMW by itself and you show me all the inventory you have.
The junkyard was ok when I went, but I’m really not sure if I’m going to go again and hope for the car/model I want so to me this is a junkyard and not a used parts yard. I’d rather find it online and check pics of it like a ton of other junkyards do.
Best place to call if you're a single female with no mechanical experience. The dealership said the part I needed was no longer being made and I would have to find it at a salvage yard. That prospect was scary to me. He gave me this number, I called and they were immediately reassuring and helpful. They found the part and made it available the very next day because I was in a time crunch. Every town needs a salvage yard like these guys run! Two thumbs up
Been here twice so far for parts for my old 95' Bonneville and everyone behind the desk has been awesome! They're very respectful and keep things light hearted. Not only do you get great prices on parts but, some things they'll even help you put in for a little extra. I won't go anywhere else if I need more parts for my vehicles. I would highly recommend coming here for your vehicle parts! They take google/apple pay too Thanks guys!
Great place to pick up auto parts very knowledgeable. All three guys know what they’re talking about and I felt very comfortable with my part when I got home knowing I had the right part. It was like brand new, save me bunches of money.! Will be going back,
They Definitely have a great system going here. I called them up, in need of a spare tire. They let me know they had one. Went down there within minutes was in and out with the spare I needed. Looking forward to using them more often.
There were three people at the counter and made every effort not to wait on me for about 15 minutes. Eventually the woman ask if I needed help. It was obvious this was not my go to parts store.
I'll continue with U-PULL AND PAY.
We bought a special order part (ext mirror heated) in which we stressed the heated part. ABC used parts ordered the part and it was not heated. They refused the return saying we signed a receipt saying no returns on special order. They knew it wasn't heated and lied to us saying it was. We just got scammed. It was not the part that we asked for, ordered ,or was promised. We said it wasn't our fault, you guys ordered it. We were then told it wasn't about who's fault it was since we signed the receipt. We were offered an exchange for a heated one but we had already purchased one elsewhere. Not to mention, they lied the first time, why would I expect any different the second time? I have lived in town since 1978 and quickly remembered why I never go there.

I went back for new tires.
I got a great price on the tires so I bought them.
The tires needed to be ordered and that was not a big deal.
After work the staff loaded the tires in my car and off I went.
I have recommended this place to several people who bought from ABC and have all given me positive feedback.

Update!!! 7/15/21 love there new showroom waiting area they are still great guys prices are still very reasonable very enjoyable experience I had bought a used engine from them 5 years ago actually 7 years ago I got 4 years out of the engine before my fuel pumps went back out on my Ford now I may be looking for a cylinder head for a 93 Ford 460 7.5 engine I'll probably go into ABC to Wednesday a.m. after 11:00 a.m.
This is my favorite salvage business in Colorado Springs. They offer very reasonable prices to remove parts ahead of time. This saves me so much money and time. Much faster than buying parts on the internet...and no shipping fees. I don't usually travel with my tool bag any more so the larger yards have gotten to be a total inconvenience. I appreciate all of the outstanding customer service I have gotten over the past 5 years and all of the money I have saved. Your tear down team is amazing. WOW! This place has awesome service.The whole experience was amazing with fast, friendly and efficient service. I called from out of town trying to locate a Saab part (not easy). They immediately went out to see if they had it (which they did) and sent me a pic to ensure it was exactly what I wanted (it was). They pulled it and immediately returned my call as I requested. I asked them if they could ship it, they did and one day later I received it. I'm impressed, as great customer service seems to be almost extinct these days,.They made a lifelong customer out of me and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the same type of service and satisfaction!
I was trying to sell my old Prius battery so I called and spoke with the owner and he told me he would buy it. When I get there I wait like 20 mins for this guy to finally come speak to me, they took their time looking it up answering the phone as I just stood there waiting. After 90 mins of wasted time they came to the conclusion that they had no use for it. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have plenty of time to waste or want to listen to some useless banter. Complete waste of my day and time, thanks for nothing ABC
I went here, to get a battery, and it was only $30.00, if I had the core. They went to the yard, got it for me, and gave me a 60 day warranty. They were knowledgeable about the size I needed, and they sold me a good battery. What more can I say? I'm sure they appreciated my business, and I appreciated the cost, and the service. It's not just for batteries though, I'm sure they sell all kinds of used parts. 5 stars, and I will call them fist, in the future. :)
