I cannot recommend Knob Hill Towing enough, specifically because of an incredible employee named Hot Rod.
We were dealing with a highly stressful situation involving a squatter's vehicle at one of our properties. When Hot Rod arrived to impound the truck, two aggressive men showed up and tried to forcibly stop the tow. I was completely unsure of what to do, but Hot Rod was an absolute professional. He stood right by my side, calmly stood his ground, and expertly de-escalated the entire situation without ever losing his cool.
Without his help and steady presence, our property would have continued to be taken advantage of. Hot Rod is an absolute Godsend and a top-tier, quality employee. Thank you, Hot Rod and Knob Hill Towing, for having our back when we needed it most!
Absolutely atrocious. I was waiting for a tow for more than an hour in the middle of a busy highway. They said they’d call me when they were on the way, and still I got nothing. Eventually I called them and the person on the phone said that they had to send the driver somewhere else for an emergency. Are you kidding me? Not even having the decency of communication is insane. Thank goodness I had another tow truck on the way and they came in less than 15 minutes.
Outstanding company to do business with, Chris was a great manager and friend, the owners are great people I highly recommend this business they have helped us out many many times over the years and they will come anytime you call them !

I had the worst month of my life when my car was towed the city unjustly called a tow and it was knob hill towing.I didnt even have the car a couple days so I had no money as i just got the car. I went down there and was obviously upset thats when i met Jhay Austin , and Paul. They were very understanding, and nothing like the crooks tow companies are known for. They went above and beyond to help me to the best of their ability, and made me a very happy man. I need everyone to know there's definitely good guys in the world of towing and if I ever find my self in need to a good honest tow im definitely calling knob hill towing.
Miguel came out today and rescued me out in Lake George all the way from Colorado Springs. I will never underestimate a tow truck operator. I was in a very difficult spot and he got my tractor free. THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
This company would rather stick by a policy rather than to prevent customer annoyance..insult to injury. Invoices to be paid don't come in a timely manner. And will lead you to believe you squared you bill, and then send you another. For two vehicles wither tell the next person to expect an invite per unit..or expect this type of reaction..absolute insanity
HotRod went above and beyond helping us. He worked his magic to get us out of a slippery situation and back to safety. The man is doing gods work out here. If you get HotRod, you're in good hands. Ask him about places to eat, he's got some good suggestions.

Broke down at a gas station and Rod helped us find a good auto shop. He was extremely nice and helpful. We even called him after the towing because we had some questions and he was extremely helpful then as well. I would definitely recommend Rod & knob hill towing.

Professional and very kind. Victor pulled my totaled vehicle out of the middle of the road on Powers. He was very accommodating when I asked if I could get some things out of my car at a safer location. Not only was he very understanding but also assisted in locating my military ID card and facility badge for where I work on Peterson SFB.

Knob Hill was sent by Tesla to take my baby to the service center. They quoted ~40 minutes, but the guys were there in less than 20! Very professional . They even let me know Tesla would be closed and what to expect. They texted when she was dropped off, then called to tell me who they spoke to there. Thank you!
Thieves. They tried to steal our legally parked car (that has no liens/holds/fines/etc). Ramp was down and they were about to hook up when we confronted them and they sped away. We have the dash cam video as well as security video from a local business. Sherriff has been notified of attempted car theft.
I was quoted $300 "port to port" with a fuel fee, but was shocked to receive a final bill of $1,424.80. At no point was I told there would be a per-hour rate or any additional fees beyond the original quote. When I brought this up, the company refused to work with me or adjust the invoice total in any way.
This felt like a classic bait-and-switch. If I had been informed of the true cost structure upfront, I would have looked for another option. Completely unacceptable business practices — be very careful if you're considering using Knobhill Towing.
Austin was fantastic. He recovered our diesel pusher after it was high-centered on the rear frame. From the first call, his communication was clear and respectful—he explained each step and never talked down to us. On scene he used the right rigging, protected the coach, and worked methodically—no drama, no damage. Quick response, fair pricing, and a courteous staff. Highly recommend.
