I wish there were more people on our police team who are like these people. Every one there is reasonable provided you are respectful and have an honest reason to find your vehicle in the impound. Thank you Kaleb and Mike for helping me in a very difficult time of my career.
The lady that helped me was one of the most pleasant understanding person I have ever met. She was very sympathetic and made the whole experience not as bad as it should have been.
A bunch of lazy women who refuse to pickup the phones because their hustling an easy pay check, paid by citizens. They're never overwhelmed with work. Between 4-6 women, I'm sure there's enough brain power to handle phone calls. Go there and you'll see what I mean.
When I went there 4 women, 2 of them casually eating and looking at a screen while they got up slowly to service me as if I had to be on my best behavior for them to do their job. They working women a terrible name.
The team at this location are compassionate professionals who know their stuff - helpful and friendly service...nice to encounter when wading through the aftermath of some of the worst days of one's life.
Honestly they do almost zero verification of your identity, I was able to get literally whatever wamted out of my husband's car and we don't even have the same last name. Also they give you only 30 days before they put your car with everything in it up for auction. ACAB
My car was stolen so, I wasn’t there by choice. The customer service was spot on though. Friendly and courteous. Depending on your circumstance, that may differ but being polite to them can only improve what is likely an unpleasant situation.
Our truck was stolen 8 months ago. It was actually found and these guys were so helpful with what we needed to do to get it back home. it Took a little while in line but everything went great once we were helped. Got our truck with no problems
Great staff with compasionTe hearts. Had to clear my daughters rolled van. It was emotional for her and they made the experience easy on her and helped tremendously during this difficult time.
The lady who helped me at the Colorado Springs Police Impound Lot was so wonderful as I was faced with the difficult task of removing the items from my car totaled by a red light runner earlier in the day. I appreciated her kindness after the trauma I had been through.
My car was stolen right after I finished paying it off. Because I hadn't yet recieved the lien release, they impounded it and I couldn't get it out. Not a huge issue, but they continued, and were actually going to SELL MY CAT AT AUCTION after it was stolen and I was PISTOL WHIPPED DURING THE INCIDENT.
Went retrieve my flatbed that had been stolen. They had me come back for this and that. It took almost a week to get my trailer back. They were not very friendly and i was courteous, please and thank you and did all they demanded. I was simply a victim of a crime.
I hope for your sake that what ever vehicle is brought here does not contain your life. They are cold and rude. Don't tell them your story they don't care. Don't ask for some mercy,some relief from the never ending stream of despair or misery on what could have been the worst day of your life and you are just seeking to hold on to something as the world spins in upheaval around you. The will just shrug and go on like your nor falling apart.
The staff at the lot was very friendly and immensely helpful in getting access to our vehicle quickly and easily. With the right paperwork, we got in and out in under thirty minutes. While not a place you wish to visit, they made the experience quite friendly.
If i could give zero, I would.Terrible service for DAYS! Website down, nobody answering phones....resulting in additional fees AFTER an illegal/improper tow/impound. Already had AAA on the way when CSPD decided to impound. Went in late Wednesday/early Thursday. Could have picked UP Thursday, but unable to reach someone on the phone until late Friday afternoon, right before closing with no way to get a tow in time. Closed Monday for holiday, fine. Just more revenue for them! Would not allow inventory of vehicle prior to tow out. Items missing from vehicle to include cash/change, a gift card in center console ($50 value) and other miscellaneous items that are inconsequential.
The clerk's at the window are extremely impatient and they do not communicate well with the customers. It's as if they are judgemental, of why the vehicles in their lot are there. It's there but the owner of the vehicle is not the reason it's in there. My suggestion is that they be more understanding and work on their communication skills.
They avoid all calls and emails. when you go in person they give you the run around. Took a POA in and was told it has to be on there form and they never told the insurance agent when they shared that they have received his messages but not once replied back with the POA form from them, thatThey say is the only form acceptable! They just want the people’s money for storage! Worst place ever to deal with! Don’t let them tie your car here if you have a choice!
I was in a car accident on 8/17 and my SUV was totalled so it was taken to impound and we couldn't get the rear door open to retrieve several items! Katelynn was awesome and crawled into the rear and handed everything to me!

We didn't have to wait that long. The attendant was very nice. No one wants to have to come there but the staff made it better. If I had a complaint, it would be you can't reach them by phone.
Well for police impound lot the guy that helped us out was pretty nice, and got us in and out of there as quickly as possible. He even made sure that our vehicle would start before he headed back to his office. So, overall for a situation that could have really sucked it was pretty decent overage
Place has very strict rules and is not adaptive or caring for people personal matters. However the gentleman who handled my pickup was pleasant and helped a lot.
I was in a car accident a while ago and my car was totaled. The police had my car brought to the impound. Although I have never had my car impounded before, going there to get my things was a very easy process. I went in with my proof of ownership and I.D. and was able to collect my things without any problems. Overall considering the bad day of a bad accident this was a pleasant experience.
I can't say I enjoyed my experience but the people that work here were very helpful and made a point to try and make me laugh even though we in a horrible situation! I gave 5 stars just based off the level of customer service I received.
We sell used cars and every once in a while our customers we hold a lien on gets impounded. I won't go into details but getting your car back is a NIGHTMARE! The staff is nice and all but.....
Good luck if you have to get your car from here. I pray for your immortal soul. I don't mean what the city charges, which is bad enough. I mean the employees.
This is the grumpiest, most unhelpful set of people I've ever seen. Maybe it's because the building looks like it's a dingy jail cell and these poor folks need some sunshine. Or maybe a Dementor lives in the building. Actually, that's probably it, because you will leave feeling like you just lost a little bit of your soul.
You will wait for a minimum of 15 minutes, even if no one else is there and no one looks busy. When you go back up to the window to check that they didn't forget you, you will get the glare that lets you know they just added 5 minutes to your wait time for daring to question them. Then they will go back to talking amongst themselves. It will not matter how friendly you are - they will be short, dismissive and rude. Apparently, you are interrupting them from whatever the hell it is they do otherwise.
Honestly, they are probably the single biggest deterrent to stop illegal parking. The fees are bad - really bad. But once you survive an encounter with the employees, you will cross yourself and promise to never park in a loading zone again.
