I think their services are completed in a very organized and well communicated manor. Trust me, you won't find better at their price range. Keep up the good work.

Pros: take all kinds of scrap metals Cons: scrap prices are much lower than other local recycling centers (consistently about 50% less for aluminum cans), employees taking in the scrap metal will rush you and are not helpful when asking questions, getting in and out is chaotic and a hassle (especially for larger vehicles/trucks) and there are nails/screws/sharp metal pieces laying all over the areas that have to be driven over so the risk of getting a punctured tire is high. If you have aluminum to recycle, go to Canland on Federal Blvd or All Recycling in Brighton, both places consistently pay around double what this place pays.

Were very rude and when I tried asking questions they just rushed me and got mad because they couldn’t understand that I was telling them I had more scrap and they had to weigh more and kept complaining that the place is so busy and I needed to hurry up. They don’t speak English so it’s impossible to ask questions or communicate with them.

They need to teach the scale guy to press the scale to zero, to many incidents where the scale is at a negative number. Check the weight of your scrap yourself, they move in a quick pace they make mistakes frequently. Check your receipt always! They do offer very fair prices

This is by far the very best scrap yard in Colorado! I've been scrapping for decades and so have many of my closest friends and this is the one thing we ALL agree on. Very easy to navigate thru their various systems( weigh if needed, unload, collect ticket , go to front office and get yer loot. Should only take 6-7 minutes to maybe 10-11 tops depending on yer load. As I write theyre paying 4 bucks/lb for bare bright copper and their #1 and #2 pay out is usually within 10¢ to 25¢ less than bare bright payout I've seen it within 8¢. They're consistent, fair and honest. We did a week of trying various scrap yards with identical loads of copper , aluminum, and iron to determine not only pay but also efficiency, friendliness, safety(scrapyards can be very dangerous places), and overall vibe and Recycling Connections blew em all away. I'll never go anywhere else. Never. Yer gonna get as close to spot as any yard can get and you won't get ripped off. And there's a good 75% possibility you'll get burnt elsewhere. I stand behind that # as it's a hands on personal experience. Recycling Connections is a world class outfit and I recommend them absolutely. Go elsewhere? Get burnt! Also, it pays to have your scrap categorized and separated prior to arrival. You will get paid the rate for the lowest value material in an unseparated load. Know their various classifications. Go to they're website. They probly got some kinda guide . I don't know. I've never looked at their website. All I can say is that this is miles ahead of all the other scrap yards in Colorado. There's really no other choice. I really do love the place. Definately take yer load to them. Youll thank me I promise. Here's a quick edit after months of going here and I gotta say it's still the best scrap yard around. They pay top dollar Everytime I've went here so again I'm giving them 10 stars for consistency and 10 more for honesty and just good business! * 4 months later. Here we are again 4 months later and still the best scrap yard in Colorado. Yer getting the best yer gonna get here and not anywhere else. I stand behind that 100%

I like this place except for their hours on Saturday! I work longer hours than they do during the week ! I am a plumber and have lots of scrap I save but by the time I can get up on Saturday and get it sorted they are closed . They should be open all day to give us non thieves a chance to recycle

The people that I delt with were awesome once I got into the place but I was guided to the area where I needed to go and if you have any aluminum, brass or copper you need to get rid of this place will take care of you

The price I got per pound was good ($0.50 per pound) and the staff was helpful. They need to have a better setup as far as driving in and having signs directing people to the different areas ( can recycling, scrap metal recycling, etc.)

This is an excellent and well run facility for metal recycling. I've been coming here to cash in on aluminum cans and whatever scrap metal comes my way for close to 15 yrs or longer. I've seen a tremendous transformation from a very rough exterior to new pavement and super organization now. The owners/managers and staff are wonderful and very helpful. I used to get their ads in the Value Ads booklet to get paid an additional 3 cents/lb on aluminum and 5 cents/lb on copper. Most of their customers don't realize the coupon is posted on their website. It can be downloaded and printed off to present when you're cashing in. Friendly awesome company!!! ??

Great place to work with. Good people always doing what they can for you and saved my butt more than once, like when I didn't understand their hours or when I had a tire issue in their yard. We have no issue coming out to support a good local business like these guys!

Don’t bother coming out here. Website times are not accurate. We arrived before the posted website times and was informed they’re closed because they changed their hours. We drove half an hour to come out here and he refused to help us despite knowing that. They lost a customer. Won’t be back here.

No complaints here. Got paid what I expected. The place is nice and clean. Well run operation. Sergio is the best!!

Employees were very helpful and knowledgeable! Showed us how to separate our metals correctly so we could get the most out of our recyclable materials. Will be back and would definatly recommend to a friend!

First time using this place, not a frequent recycler but had a non working stainless steel BBQ to drop off. Pulled in greeted nicely by a guy who had me drive up the scale. He explained to pull around back and they would unload the truck. So I did. Another guy came over opened the tailgate pulled one item out then yelled at me something I couldn't understand. I thought he asked me to pull forward so I started to which he said. No you unload. Now I spent time disassembling this thing so I don't particularly care I had to unload it, but I would have certainly done it on a day I wasn't wearing work clothing. As I started unloading the first guy came back over and asked if he could hop in and help unload, I said sure. As I went to weigh again the guy who couldn't be bothered to unload was chuckling it up with the guy using the scale about telling me to unload. As I was reading the reviews on here it seems to me I may have had a similar experience to the person who's experience with a Hispanic employee wasn't good, and quite possibly it was the same employee. It bears mentioning I was the only unload going on. It also bears mentioning the 3 other employees I had experience with were nothing but professional and pleasant. The first guy, the weigh guy, and the pay out. All great and quite frankly salvaged (no pun intended) the third star. Sucks when one person influences the rating on a business so poorly that it reflects on the great employees.

Employees are knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and helpful. Property is clean and organized which makes it a fast and easy process, and they pay top dollar for your goods.

I was very pleased with my experience at Recycling Connections. After going to several other places, I found Recycling Connections to have the best prices. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, the yard is very clean and organized. I highly recommend doing business with these guys.

Love that I can go in and out quick, super fast. Workers are helpful if you ask for help and are friendly, it's also nice that the yard is nicely paved everything is just much better now that they fixed the yard and entrance!

Went and brought 3 appliances. 10.00 each. I talked to them about bringing scrap steel from a fabrication shop he said they pay better for that then general scrap so for the next month we cleaned the yard up and when I got back he said 4.00 a ton. Not me brought it back and put it in the iron bin for pick up. he was so lazy he did not want to even look at it I know it was the same guy who said for ibeam and flat bar and angle steel he pays more never going back for work or personal

It was my first time going there and they had a racist Mexican guy that work there. He came up and start making racial remarks instead of helping me, very rude. He is the guy that does the dirty work, handling the cans. Do not go to that place people.
