Neil helped me 1 1/2yrs ago when I had major delema. My 2021 Toyota Corolla SE Nightshade that I had lease on had major damage from rats getting into engine compartment. Water resivior had big holes,several pieces of wiring harness were gone and I took it to Simi Valley Toyota (my leaser who helped me finance a wonderful car). One of the service guys we will leave name out gave me a quote of just over $9000.00. I was very devastated especially just lost my wonderful job. Now I know plenty about cars there engines and rest but, I think this service guy took me for a stupid woman. So I towed it back to my house covered it and figure that was it till lease is up. My neighbor across street gave me neils automotive in Moorpark. OMG he is the nicest guy. Doesn't cheat you and respects you. Needless to say everything fixed for just over $300.
When I purchase another vehicle he will be my only service guy

I met Niel 10 years ago through a local church in Thousand Oaks where his shop use to be located. Niel is an honest man he advised me of an oil leak in my Cadillac DTS that would eventually lead to engine failure. I have been taking all my vehicles with him and never had any issues. I have referred friends and family and they all have had positive experiences with Niel. He recently replaced the transmission and differential on my Cadillac CTS and dealt with the extended warranty company. I just got new tires from Niel for my Lexus ES300. The shop hours are accommodating to my schedule. There is a new rewards program that allows you save points and redeem on services. I went to Niel’s for the first time after a couple different “quickie” auto shops failed to identify and advise of issues with my belts and water pump. Niel and his team were able to fit me in quickly while still attending to his long time customers with appointments. They were straightforward about the issues my car was having and completed the repairs at a very good price. I have definitely found my new mechanic.
A friend of mine highly recommended Niel when he learned that I needed to get my car Smogged for my license registration renewal.
I called Neil early in the morning, just after he opened, to see whether he could get me in today and whether I needed an appointment. He told me to just bring my car in any time and they would take care of me. I got there a little while later. Niel was very friendly and accommodating, and they performed the smog procedure and had me out the door in a very short time. I highly recommend them.

My air conditioner went out during one of the hottest weeks of summer. Niel got me in right away, diagnosed and fixed my truck right away. Then two days later followed up and made sure everything was fine. Now that is service! Oh and the cost to repair was very reasonable. Because of Niel I was able to take my road trip to Bass Lake. Knowledgeable and understanding. We had our suv in for diagnosis, which was done and reported back to us in detail with a great explanation of all the relevant issues.
We left it there for almost 2 weeks as we decided what to do. They only charged us for the diagnosis, no storage fees. Which I would have understood.

I've been going to Niel's for about a year now and have been very pleased. One thing I appreciate with him and his team is that they allow me to see, watch and learn what they do on my cars. I'm no mechanic but I am mechanically-inclined and take my tough auto-repair projects I cannot handle to them. The auto mechanic shops I've gone to in the past (with the exception one who's retired now) wouldn't let me near their garage/bay area. That's pretty shady to me. I also appreciate his honesty & transparency, which is hard to come by with most auto mechanic shops. I would highly recommend Niel & his team of mechanics.

I don’t live terribly close by, so always wait while they do the work, and they are consistently prompt and attentive. Fast, Thorough, Well-Priced, and Informative.
I had to swing by on a Friday afternoon without an appointment to deal with a potential “check engine light” disaster. Neil was awesome. His team checked it out, had a thorough solve in place, and had me on my way in an hour.
I learned a few more things along the way about the vehicle that I’ve owned for years but didn’t know that will save me from some future headaches, so not only do I feel like I came out ahead, I will be back if I need anything else done to this or any other vehicle I’ve got!

After my previous experience with mechanics, I couldn’t believe someone wasn’t telling/selling me something that I didn’t need. I waited until I needed my oil changed and got the repairs done.
