Fast, friendly, and no up selling. The technician showed me that I needed to replace my air filter in my cabin air filter. When I said, I didn’t want to take care of it now he said no problem.
I had seen this place for years but for no particular reason I hadn't ever stopped in for service on my truck. Did some quick research on them and decided to go ahead and have them do an oil change. I'm glad I did. Solomon did my service for me and he was great. A good dude and very thorough. I'll definitely use them again.

What stood out most was how genuine and respectful they were — they didn’t just treat me like another customer, but like someone whose time and trust truly mattered. I had a great experience at Oil Changers regardless of the hiccup they had. As a drop in service location my suggestion would be for them to have all liquids replenished for jobs. They ran out of transmission fluid but went out to get some and gave me a discount. This place is the most affordable place around Oxnard-Camarillo. Solamon was so nice and took the time to explain the process. You can tell he cares about taking care of the client.
I went in for an oil change and I was helped by David and Renee. David was able to inform me of possible issues with my car after I explained to him what I had been experiencing. He was able to identify a loose hose connection and Renee confirmed a leak with my coolant system. I am very grateful for their courtesy and knowledge, I will definitely refer Oil Changers.
I wanted to share my recent experience at your location, which unfortunately was extremely disappointing.
Kevin was unprofessional and unequipped to handle what should have been a simple oil change. The service took 45 minutes, yet no one updated me at any point during the wait. When the work was finally done, they did not perform any standard checks—no lights, blinkers, or fluid inspections. I wasn’t given a sticker, paperwork, or any confirmation that the oil change had even been completed.
On top of that, my hood was left partially open, which shows a clear lack of care and attention to detail. They simply changed the oil, charged me, and walked away without even asking me to start the engine to ensure the service was done properly.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but the complete disregard for professionalism and basic service here was unacceptable.
Great experience at the Adolfo Rd Oil Changers. This isn’t my first time coming here, but after today’s experience, I had to leave a review. Firstly, I want to say Tristian, the Specialist who worked on my car, was such a Mentch. He was extremely courteous, professional, caring, and took the time to fully inspect my vehicle and make sure I got exactly what I needed before driving off. All done with a smile, without any delay.
Ended up changing the cabin filter and a standard oil change. He made sure the pressure in my tires was just right and topped off the fluids. I really appreciate his honesty, and how he didn’t try pushing me to get any unnecessary replacements. Will definitely be coming back here for my next tune-up.

First they are quick and knowledgeable. It was a little longer then 15 minutes but the took care of everything and were very professional. This is now my oil change place!!

Wasn’t super happy with this experience. I felt kind of tricked into the premium oil. The guy helping me quickly went over it and said this was what the manufacturer recommends and I said ok. But when he told me it’d be $100 I got to thinking about it - I’ve never paid that much for an oil change. I followed up with a few questions and basically learned the oil I got was the premium one. I wish they took the time to go over options and truthfully explain it to the customers. I also saw that they checked lights and blinkers in other cars but that wasn’t checked on mine even though my invoice stated it was.
Overall not terrible but will go to a more honest and affordable place next time.
I decided to get my oil change yesterday and went to this place because my husband went here for his truck a few months ago and had a good experience. I love the fact that you stay in your car while they work on it. The gentleman that assisted me was very patient with me as I didn’t know much of what he asked or suggested so I would call my husband to find out lol I felt no pressure to the recommendations he gave that I needed and I really liked that. He was very thorough in the inspection and made me feel like my car was well taken care of. I was In and out in about 15-20 mins the most. Definitely will be going back.
Just had my oil changed here and the tech who serviced the car was friendly, patient, and explained everything to me as he did it. He offered other services but did not pressure me to buy anything extra, or make me feel bad for saying no. I will definitely be coming back—I had exactly the kind of experience you hope for, especially as a female driver! Plus, there was absolutely no wait on a weekday around 5pm.
Second time here and David is just as friendly as the first time. During my first visit, he took time to explain needing to change oil every 5k miles instead of 10k with the dealer. Also, during both visits he topped off any fluids, usually its windshield wiper fluid. David is approachable and I felt comfortable asking additional questions. I didn't catch the other guys name but both were efficient and welcoming.
They are open until 7pm, which is convenient and a big selling point for me when my sister recommended this place.
The staff was efficient and knowledgeable. They showed me what my transmission fluid looked like and recommended that service in the near future. The only issue I had 3 weeks later when I went in somewhere else, for my heater not working properly and I was informed that my coolant level was very low, I thought that was one of the fluids that would have been checked and filled.
