Got a duplicate key for my Ford Transit van. Initially had some difficulties programming the fob. After Robert the manager looked at it, the situation was handled quickly. I thought I was going to be leaving with no key, but instead left with two, and a great deal also. I appreciated the extra effort Robert put in for my needs and I will definitely return for batteries and bulbs in the future. Much appreciated.
Purchased a car battery online and picked it up at the store. Asked if it could be installed and they did it within minutes. Very pleased with the service and staff knowledge. Will do business with this store again when the opportunity arises. A+ experience.
My car battery died on me. I paid $10 for installation and ordered a new one online. I called to make sure they were available and then made an appointment when I placed the order. It took them about 5-10 minutes to swap out my battery. It was so easy, I highly recommend!
Batteries Plus Camarillo! Andrew was a solid guy! Great service! Very knowledgeable! I came into the store near closing time.. Andrew was still patient and offered tons of suggestions to get me squared away with my purchase.
After being told that it would be more than $350 for the dealer to replace the battery on our car, we decided to do it ourselves after watching a YouTube video. We looked all around town and was about to go with one of those car supply parts store but fortunately found out in time that Batteries Plus Bulbs carries car batteries too. (Not sure why I thought they'd only have small batteries and items.) They had the best price in town for a brand name I've heard of (Duracell), we ordered online and it was ready for pick up almost immediately. The people at the store were all super friendly, carried the battery to our car, and when we came back later with the old battery, it was quick and easy to get the recycle battery fee refunded. Battery works great! Of course, only time will tell if the battery lasts (I'll update if it doesn't). Definitely will check these guys out first in the future for any battery needs. Highly recommend!
My trucks battery died at a bad time. I searched Batteries Plus, on line, they had my battery and it was on sale with an online discount. I was able to get a new battery, and at a discount price. I went to the store, my battery was ready to go. One of the staff carried it to my car, being I am elderly, and took my old one into the store for me. Great price and discount online, great customer service, great overall experience.
This is the 2nd time I have gone to this place/store. They guys that work there are super smart and helpful. If you have a garage door opener, a car key or a phone that needs a battery they can help you!! I highly recommend this store off of Las Posos.

Great staff and knowledge. I called looking for two very large batteries for my toy Caterpillar which I had spent a lot of time and no luck sourcing them from other vendors for pickup that day. I recalled that in the past I had purchased some batteries years ago “still going strong” from Batteries Plus so I called them, to my surprise they had them in stock ready for pickup. Lesson re learned, don’t spend excessive lengths of time trying to “save time and dollars” go with the pros that know. Btw they were less expensive and a better battery at Batteries Plus.
I had a wonderful experience at this Batteres Plus location. I was visiting from outside of the country and I could not find the torx size I needed for my laptop. I was able to get some help from Christian whom went out of his way to support me. Customer service like that is hard to come by these days. He truly went above and beyond and he should be acknowlegded for that.
My wife and I went to get some batteries for my car key pods, and guitar tuner- the experience was unreal- my wife and I were treated w/ an attitude of disrespect that U could cut w/ a knife- We are both almost 80 years old, and these guys caused my blood to boil- one thing to throw me attitude, it's a whole other thing to dis my 80 year old wife!!!! There was a misunderstanding about pricing, and the people in the store turned it into a whole confrontation. In this crazy world today, we need to go out of our way to be more cordial to one another, in business and otherwise. With the customer service and treatment we received, I am amazed this store is still open!! If I could give them 0, I would. FYI, I have been shopping at this store since its inception- NEVER AGAIN WILL BATERRIES PLUS SEE A DOLLAR FROM ANYONE I KNOW!!!! Respectfully. Barry B.
They broke the screen on my phone and expect me to be okay with their inferior replacement.
I took my phone here to replace the battery. The tech broke the screen while he was working on it and replaced it with a low quality one. It drains the battery faster than before, Force Touch doesn’t work anymore, colors are inaccurate, and my phone freezes more than it ever used to. I took it back so they could get it properly fixed because they’re the ones who broke it, but they refuse. They only offered a refund for the original battery replacement and told me “there’s no reason to be upset.”
Awesome staff, amazing prices and they always have what I need. They always change out my car FOB no questions asked, so much easier and way cheaper than the dealer! Go here first, I have a Lexus, they will have your batteries trust and believe! Excellent customer service
I was in a good mood when I got off work and entered the store to buy a battery. I was in my hospital scrubs and inadvertently forgot to wear my mask. A girl at the counter asked if I had my mask and I said "yes, do I need to wear it"? A person who I was not talking to rudely told me to put it on or leave. He started to site CDC guidelines and is apparently a medical expert selling batteries. He started a confrontation with me because of his terrible customer service when there didn't have to be one. I will never go to this store again and recommend you don't also. The other girl in the store was nice but the guy there is the worst customer service person I have ever seen. Don't buy from these people.
Thanks to Michael and Josh for awesome customer service they helped me out in fixing my Note 9 front and back glass covers. Now my phone looks awesome, black and pink/purple depending what light you're in now. And also they were patient and stayed professional and answered my questions. Thank you, I would recommend them in fixing anyone's phones. I mean, I did and they did a wonderful job. Thank you again boys
Great shop!! I've gotten batteries for everything from my car's keyfob to my daughter's cell phone. Service is wonderful. They're always so helpful, and they always install the batteries at NO CHARGE. This little service thrills me and had secured my loyalty. Oh, and I don't even live in that locale, but am in that frequently.
The hours are convenient and realistic - 8 am till 8 pm. There is always someone to help whether you are getting a new cell phone battery or buying 10 deep cycle 8D batteries. (Very expensive) I was the one with the cell phone. I have never experienced them being out of stock on something that I wanted. Always lots of parking. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
I LOVE these guys. I work for a campus police department with three stations all spread apart. An officer can call in an order and check if it's available, then the store will contact me for payment. It's great and they have just about every kind of battery (and light bulb!) known to mankind. Thanks for the great job, Justin!

I don't know if the driver of this store's company truck, possibly a delivery truck, is the owner or just an employee. But, the fact that they try to ram people off the road, flip people off, and drive dangerously, suggests this is not a place anyone should be doing business at. I will never do business at the Camarillo or Ventura Batteries Plus due to the disregard of the employees/owner for other's people safety. When you are driving a company truck you are an ambassador for that company, and the driver of this store's truck just shows the public your business should be taken elsewhere. For automotive needs, I would recommend any of the parts store chains, where you find more knowledgeable staff, and for your other battery needs go to Amazon.
Great job! Good price on car battery, better than the auto parts store with better warranty. Fast, great service! Ordered on line and battery was ready for pick up quickly, the correct part, quality battery, personal service at the store, and easy online ordering......what more do you want. I'll be back!
