⚠️⚠️ Make sure you bring GLOVES and HAND SANITIZER / WET WIPES a bag to put your trash from the bags u bring ur cans and bottles in as they DO NOT have a public trash recepticle or water fornyoubto wash your hands off when your done. IF U have never been here before they are very particular about howband where u park. They DO NOT assist you in ANY way. Your items must be seperated. (All cans together all plastic together etc, it can not b mixed. Grab a few trash cans they have out and start dumping your seperated items into the cans. If you are recycling GLASS BOTTLES do NOT fill the cans up all thr way. NOT EVEN HALF WAY if u can help it as it will be too heavy for them to lift on to the scales and dump in their bins. Might even b too heavy for u to PUSH...and IF it does NOT have the CALIFORNIA recyclable redemption sign on the back of your CANS/BOTTLES ETC (even tho it may STILL b recyclable) they DO NOT take those items anymore and will give them back to you for YOU to dispose of. (for example milk jugs, coffee creamer jugs) They also do not take some ALCOHOL bottles HOWEVER they do take those wine BOXES /BAGS. This place usually always has customers so be patient, be pleasant and if its summer time make SURE you bring a refreshing beverage as their is NO SHADE and they do not sell or offer things of that nature..... and now my review.....
100% positive experience since this company took over.
Staff is friendly and helpful, u automatically get a receipt, bottle caps can stay on ...or off. and they do NOT close for lunch. LOVE this place.
Update: went to check on new management and ownership. Still recommend going literally anywhere else. Terrible customer service. Arrived just as another customer was leaving and didn’t receive help until I had already unloaded and distributed and sorted all of my items, but when the next customer came, they immediately went to them with the buckets, asked if they need any assistance and began loading their cans into the buckets.
I had to scream at the door for several minutes asking if they were ever going to come weigh my cans as I had been standing out there for about five minutes before anyone decided to open the door and come help me after I had already finished unloading all my items.
There is no trash receptacle/can so expect to take all the dirty things/trash back with you. They forced me to walk away with rotten banana peels. And there’s no hand washing or eye washing station so good luck decontaminating, especially if you accidentally get something in your eyes.
They say that there’s no restroom except they make the excuse that they were in the restroom every time I come to get my items recycled and they happen to only be finished every time I’m done sorting. You can’t wash your hands there and I’m sure the staff don’t either.

Store hours are wrong went at 11:29 and says that they’re open from 10 to 4 with a lunch break In between, they said they’d be closed June 17. It’s the 19th.
Been here numerous times . The guys do there jobs , there just not giving you meal prepped dinners or bagging your groceries and bringing them out to you or making your coffee for you to drive thru n get . Of course you have to sort and unload YOUR own recycling. Never been rude to me . Make Americans Grade there own cheese again .
I had a very Positive Expierence at the Hambro Center in Red Bluff today...
Arrived at the location behind Raleys with only 1 other customer before me.
Chris and another worker (sorry didn't get his name) came over to assist me getting my bagged cans out of the back of my truck and into their receptacles.
The guys took them to the weigh/scale station and gave me a receipt to give to the cashier.
Quick EZ and Efficient... ?

There is definitely something shady going on here. I generally get between $15-$25 for my recycle, I usually have 4-6 containers full. Today I had 10 and they only gave me $35. When NVS recycling was open i went there with half of what I brought today and got $40. I was shocked, that's when I realized Bigfoot is up to something. Unfortunately they are the only option in town. Last time I came the guy in front of me said they are under weighing these before he left. I checked the reviews and saw that so many people are saying this. How are
they getting away with this? Maybe the Better Business Bureau can help.
Me n my mother have been going here for years never had a problem all the guys know me by first n last name are all nice and help out im always in and out never takes to long only thing that sucks is my car is full of recycling and there closed due to no money witch is not the workers fault but come on lol!
Absolutely rudest people I've ever dealt with. I e been there twice now and both times they were extremely rude and abrupt. They could really use some people skills.
Go to Los Molinas, they have excellent service six days a week you can’t beat it and they’re so polite. They do it for you. You have to separate them but they do it for you. You don’t have to do it yourself. There’s no line ever when I go there.
Well it was my first time going here.. but the last.. I found out you had to remove all the lids off of plastic bottles. Which I did and not the issue.. my issue is why they have a line.. you can't cross..while they weigh your stuff on scale . That's behind the line and facing sideways.. then they have some kind of blinder up..so you can't see scale weight..which to me isn't something you do..unless your dishonest..plus since they only have so many cans. Your bringing up cans 2,3,or 4 at a time..when we wanted to know the weight.. we were told they are righting it down and will see in the end..which I have every right to see the weight each time..period.. but also my reasons are because we had 23 and a half of there containers full of recycling.. which 5 and a half were aluminum and the rest was plastic..we got 166.00 dollars..which I am pretty sure they burned us.. if I am wrong I will never know..nor can they say I am wrong.. since I wasn't allowed to verify anything..my partner said they put a few of our cans off to side behind the cashiers booth.. not sure if that's just part of there process.. bottom line they are very busy and if they take some of everyone's recycling.. who's to know as long as nobody knows the weight..they are the only recycling center in red bluff.. but I'm going to corning next time..
I am updating my rating, the last time I went there I had a decent experience. No one yelled at me or jumped down my throat they were timely and not rude.
Would give 0 stars if possible. "Customer Service" is not in the vocabulary. They only talk to you if you violate some arbitray rule that whomever happens to be there at the time just created. More concerned with how and where youve parked in the unmarked parking lot then helping you get the correct worn out and disgustinly dirty garbage can to put your empty cans in. Massive cuts in payout for "dirty cans". Its to the point now that I have to drive out of the city with my cans to recycle them (as they appear to be the only gig in town)
Ripped me off. Come with 9 bags of cans & the total came up to $9.50 when I know that they were worth so much more than that. He did not do the math or weigh them in front of me (I'm guessing purposely) so that he could pay me less than what I deserved for them. I also wish they had wet-wipes or a hose, a sink, papertowels or some kind of way that people could wash their hands after having to sort through the recyclables. Also wish they had a candy dish like the one in Corning.
You want to know the truth?most people go to bigfoot because they dont have an auto to get them out to bakers rd.the people are rude think they own the lot.and most want to be policeofficers .telling people how to park .all kinds of things.i dont often go there because of this.go if you want butbaker pays more
The guys there are so rude and ill prepared. Get there in the first hour or they'll run out of money. And I actually heard the guy say they'll be closed once he runs out because he wasn't gonna sit around and wait for more money. Real professional guys.. Not
So many bad reviews from lazy ignorant customers. First off, this is not the only recycling center in red bluff, there is one on Baker road ran by NVS. Two, you can't park wherever the hell you please, there are lines marked in the parking lot that you are to back into, and unload and sort out your recyclables into the the provided bins by yourself, yes that's right by YOURSELF, not a difficult thing to do.The staff are not rude by any means and are not overly friendly either, this is Red Bluff, imagine the caliber of people these guys have to deal with everyday, crackheads tweaks, and bums.. There are health hazards involved when it comes to touching germ infested cans and bottles, so have some common sense and cut these dudes some slack... Every time I have taken my recycling there I'm in and out in about ten minutes depending on how many other customers are there. This isn't aMcDonald's drive though, you may have to wait your turn in line just like everywhere else in the world.. So before you complain about anything put yourself in their shoes and try to work this job for a day dealing with rude lazy customers, crackheads, the filth and mucky muck and all the heavy lifting..
Okay it's Thursday and I got here at 2:30 pm. Not a soul in sight. So I check the hours of operation posted on the shed. And it clearly says Tue-Sat 10:30-4:30, closed 1:00-1:30 for lunch. Its not lunch time. So where the heck is everyone!? I know it can't be because of the Covid thing because they have been open thru out that whole thing. So IDK why there isn't anyone here, but they should have posted something saying they were going to be closed today, so people like me don't show up and sit here with our thumbs up our butt waiting for someone to show. Lol. Thanks Big-Foot! For having such great business ethics! ?
These guys were great! No problems at all. Yes you have to unload your recycling and put it into barrels. I’ve never seen any place that unloads for you. They were pleasant and upfront with me.
Bigfoot recycling should not be even in business, the workers thier Where the Rudest , Unprofessional ,Workers...... I will never ever go back, to that place... Everything about bigfoot is nothing but disrespectful cheating durty workers They use foul language if you have family that even owns the place or anything like that how could you even let your "family Represent Your business "That way.. ,You need to fire this guy with the glasses, He does not need to work there are anywhere as far as I'm concerned..... disrespectful place of bisness....... calling the Better Business Bureau .... I’m so glad they are out of business.. I’m here from Paradise, after the campfire of 2018.. I have NEVER, & I mean NEVER in my life been treated so rudely.
I pulled up started to unload my recycling.. was told I couldn’t park by the small box of a building & that I had to park by the store.
They wouldn’t let me unload my 5 bags lol
I had to park 100 ft away & carry the bags.
It was a Bizarre experience!!
I felt I had done something wrong & was putting them out by trying to recycle 5 bags of cans.. so glad they are no longer there!
This place was absolutely horrible. Not only were the staff members unprofessional but we're very rude to others just in general. Also the staff here cut pounds off of customer and sign a
Random name down after so they can pocket the money.. I will get my proof on video somehow and someway.. people need to watch when they weight out there cans and need to also watch what they write down. They may day 5 pounds but only write down 3 or 4.
I wish I could give a zero. The kids they got working at this place are extremely rude to customers, treating everyone like they owe them something. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a recycling place. Im taking my recycling out of town to keep my buisness away from this place. I dont know if big foot recycling have lowered the payout for recycling but ever since the new kids have staryed I was receving less and less money for my recycling, I wouldn't put it pass them of skimming the costumers payout.
Ripoff City. Staff is unbelievably rude. I've been to 5 of their centers, in 3 towns, and have yet to be treated decently. Most of the time they don't even give or offer a receipt. They wont pay for you lid weight either. I refuse to go to them anymore.
Very unprofessional, I pulled up and they watched me unload. Then told me it would be another 20 minutes they were at lunch. No sign stating thier lunch time. I loaded up and left. I guess I will try to complain to the state, as by the looks of the other reviews the owners do not care.
Tried going to the Red Bluff location twice. Both times, they said they were out of bags. They are very rude and obnoxious. After telling me that they were out of bags, the employee just walked off without finishing answering questions I had about when I could return. This happened two days in a row. Crappy service!
The guys that work there are pretty helpful and I geel bad for them with some of the customers theybhave to deal with. They are hard working individuals and they deal with a lot of scum in our town.
Its too bad that their company doesnt keep them as supplied as they should. Turning away customers because they are out of bags or room is upsetting but its not their fault. They are part of a bigger company and have to rely on them to keep them going.
I am very happy with my experiences with these guys they are very polite and helpful. They have never been rude or treated me unfair I would recommend this place to everyone I know.
Didn't know that coconut water cans should be separated from aluminum cans, the guy there yelled out " whoa whoa whoa! nice try there, If you aint cheating you aint trying huh?" quite embarrasing for this to occur in front of a bunch of other customers. I will never return here. go somewhere else
