This isn’t the first time I have been given $2 bill from this recycling center. This one today is totally fake money. I don’t know what they are trying to pull.
Ai directed me to this recycle facility. I'm giving 4 stars only because you can't drive up to the drop-off area. But it wasn't that far to walk them over. The employees Vanessa & Gabe were very nice & helpful. I participated on their chalk wall, which was really cool. I will be visiting them again for my recycling business.
A lil bit outta the way but this place pays you the right anount for whay you bring me unlike the dino place which would give 20 no matter how much i brought in . This place deserves 5 *'s nice people that work here too
I’ve been here 10+ times to recycle my plastic bottles and aluminum cans! Staff is always pleasant and helpful! Lines can be long at times, just be patient!
Recycling cardboard is extremely easy! Make sure it’s just the cardboard (no plastic or styrofoam), back up to the large pile and dump it there!
I’ve also recycled a mattress & box spring there, free of charge! Don’t throw your mattress & box spring out in the middle of nowhere, just take it here for free! Save a farmer the hassle!
This recycling center made recycling easy and hassle-free. I had a bunch of glass bottles and aluminum cans to dispose of, and the team made sure everything was sorted quickly and accurately. Their facilities are clean and well-organized, and the staff is always ready to help. The process was efficient, and I didn’t have to wait in long lines. For the price, it’s a fantastic service, and I love knowing that my recyclables will be reused properly. It’s the perfect place for anyone who wants to do their part for the planet.
Third time I’ve showed up on a weekend when they claim they are open till 3 PM, only to find out they are not. I don’t typically leave bad reviews, but a waste of time is not something I enjoy doing on my day off.
If I could give minus stars, I would do so standing there for ten minutes without anyone even paying attention to me and then I have to leave because no one sees you. Better find somewhere else to recycle because it's not this place
Always a good experience at this facility. The first time I went it was a bit confusing as to where to enter, but the signage has improved making it easier for first time clients. The process is smooth and efficient, rarely much of a wait. The guy running the conveyor doesn't interact much, but the receptionist is very friendly.
Just experienced my first trip to Recycling Industries in Yuba City today. No lines (I've spent 45 minutes waiting at a nearby transfer station), no smells, employees helped me through the entire process. Amazingly clean. Super convenient - with no traffic the drive from Recycling Industries to the Marysville transfer station is 15 minutes per google maps. Rates are comparable to Marysville transfer station. Locally owned.
Rolled into R I with 14 packed bags of plastic bottles. The signage was poor and once on the property it was total confusion about where to take your recycle materials. They have shopping carts that you can carry your plastic bottles into where their sorting machines are located. No one took the initiative to guide me through the process. The machine operator would not answer my questions. There was no way to verify that my items were being fairly weighed and counted. The operator was dropping bottles on the floor but expecting me to pick them up if I wanted them counted. When he was done weighing my bottles he pointed to the office. I was expecting to receive about $25.00 based on past experience but, but was given a receipt to sign and $13.00. When my wife questioned the guy about shorting us he just smiled and blew us off. My loss will be his loss too. I do not recommend this recycle yard to anyone that expects to be served fairly. What I witnessed was a recycle yard that had too many employees sitting on their butts doing nothing. Poor customer service was abundant. No one had a smile, and no one cared wether I was there or not. I will never take my bottles there again.
Well after a little confusing conversation a 40 minute trip to drop off some e-waste that I thought I was going to be paid for and then being told that I would have to pay them for receiving it they finally conceived that they miss communicated and would take it for free. It's hard to say who's telling the truth now days and whether someone is being nice or ripping you off but at least I was able to save the customer that I hauled it for some money in dump fees although they did have to pay a little more in hauling fees it all worked out. Git it writing still stands.
Be prepared for a long line on a Saturday. Waited over an hour. Always helpful team, so not a complaint. Just a recommendation to go another day if you can.
This is a very well organized recycle place. In fact, it was the best I've seen here in Yuba City. Keep the good work up. I am thrilled to know you are here.

Friendly and accommodating staff, very efficient, to the point where not having a 2nd conveyor going full time is the only thing slowing them down. good pricing for pretty much everything.
