The folks at Bills did a fantastic job for me. My beautiful hot rod had an electrical issue so it needed to be towed. Bills came out and arrived 20 minutes before AAA’s estimated arrival, they used kid gloves with my car and they got it back safely. And they also set it down perfectly in the spot I needed it.
They were cordial, professional and prompt. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I highly recommend them.
Completely unreasonable pricing for towed/impounded vehicles. I paid $350 for a 2.5 mile tow and $120 per day for storage, $710 altogether. Almost doubling rates just because you're working with the police is disgusting. People make mistakes, and it's not that hard to end up in a situation like I was. Monetary punishment should be up to law enforcement and courts, not some tow company. Avoid these people.
I was driving on the freeway and got a flat. Bills Towing, John, towed my vehicle out of the freeway and replaced my flat tire with the spare. It was really fast and convenient. He was very helpful and I appreciate the prompt assistance. Thank you John for providing great service to us today.
8/17/24 DO NOT USE BILLS TOWING!!! I used to use them all the time. They were amazing. You could call them right up and speak with them directly. Now they have an answering service. I called today they gave me a quote and time and I agreed I seen I missed a call so I returned the call and the call center said sorry they didn’t have any drivers.
I am disgusted by the level of customer service, disregard of customer safety and blatant disregard for actually making sure the spoke DIRECTLY to me. To let me know so I could get alternate tow.

My mom got her Car towed back in September of 2023. We have called multiple times trying to locate the car and they first started saying that they had no record of them ever towing our car. Thankfully we have a whole police report proving that they did tow the car as well as pictures. My mom has multiple messages asking the owner and calling about the car and at this point he stopped responding. We have now started getting tickets that the car is being driven across the Golden Gate. We will be taking them to court. DO NOT EVER CALL THIS TOWING COMPANY. I saw a similar case to ours in the review and even the same month. I will attach pictures soon.
I needed to have my classic car moved from my shop to a paint shop in Petaluma. I was told by a friend that I should call Bill’s Towing which I did, they were able to get to my shop in a very short amount of time and the driver was extremely courteous and careful with my project car. From Sarah on the phone to Mike, who was my driver it was a great experience all the way around.
Most of the drivers are on the level. Hard workers. One of them isn't. Always looking for the easy tow. If it's tough, he bails out and makes one of the real drivers do the job.
They did a great job. They had to tow my car behind the flat bed and in reverse back it up a narrow driveway about 50 yards, an extremely complicated maneuver that only a true professional could have managed. Well done. Very well done.
It's too bad you can't leave negative stars. This is Hans down the WORST company I've ever encountered. They are liars, manipulaters, thieves and generally all around horrible human beings. They loaded my car and then told me they couldn't take me the 30 miles and they'd put me in an UBER and deliver my car the next morning,? Pretty shady and pathetic business practice and I won't even go into how rude the driver William was... That was on Sunday September 10 and it's Tuesday September 19 and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CAR!!! They won't call me out return my calls and I can't for the life of me figure out why they are doing this but I've reported the car stolen and am in process of filling a lawsuit. I've also filled claims with BBB(Better Business Bureau) and they are going after them pretty extensively .It's really one of the most insane things I've encountered from a business.I mean what are they thinking? How are you going to talk your way out of this? I have so much recorded and every call documented. Just a warning. You are better off pushing your car home Anyway... STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THESE ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE. THIEVES, LIARS AND ALL AROUND HORRIBLE PEOPLE. Nice try with the reply. I don't have any record of this call. LoL. Waited over 4 hours to get a tow truck from Allstate til I call bill’s towing, showed up in 10 minutes and got me home with no problems. My car is also low and managed to make it happen
Go to Bills hands down. They do long distance, as well as local obviously. They work with you in a very proficient an professional manner. Won't go into price, each tow is ts own deal. Try them first, no doubt..
If you see these guys coming run and run fast! They are horrible. I don't know why AAA continues to do work with them. After waiting for 2 hours for a tow they canceled me 10 before the drive was suppose to show up. Then I was told they wouldn't be able to tow my car until the next day. The manager or owner lied about me refusing a ride or arranging someone to pick me up. I had a friend pulled over with me waiting to drive me.
Response to the owner: NO my AAA call was denied and the tow was canceled. Your company didn’t even touch my car even with me having another person with a separate car waiting with me to give me a ride. I had to hire my own tow truck and pay out of pocket because you lied. Read the first post before you reply next time, It’s clear as day.
I made a mistake. I left my car parked overnight on Petaluma Blvd where there was an event the next day with a street closure. My car was towed. I paid a $188 penalty fee to the police department.
The total charge from Bill"s Towing was $510 for a tow of 1.7 miles. That's an obscene abuse of the system. The tow charge was $310. The storage charge was $100/day. I reached out to them on Sunday four hours after they towed my car. I was told $100 for the Sunday storage and another $100 to get my car that day as they were normally closed. Alternatively pick the car up on Monday and pay the same (now 2 days storage). The car actually sat in their lot for a total of 23 hours.
Bill's Towing service has a normal base charge of $155, plus $10/mile. I paid nearly double that due to a contractual relationship that Bill's Towing service has with the Police department. Bill's Towing service justifies those rates by saying that is up to the police department. A contractual relationship involves both parties. Bill's Towing service, not the police are the ones who benefit from this 100% increase over normal towing charges. It is an incredible abuse of the system to allow this and for Bill's Towing service to accept this and double their rates when the tow involves the police.
Yesterday my Lexus broke down on Lakeview Highway in Petaluma where there is heavy traffic. I called GEICO and they sent Bill's Towing. The whole process was professional. I received a text that they were 40 minutes away and then 15 minutes later received another text that they were 10 minutes away. The driver VIC was super nice, had a fun conversation on the way back to my home, and parked my car like the PRO that he is! I wish I could give you 10 stars. Thank you!
Rude, lazy, inconsiderate, A-hole.... no respect... as a AAA Customer I'd hope that this guy was the last person to show up road side for any reason. He'd probably be drunk anyway. Best believe AAA is my next call. No one person in the world deserves an interaction like I just had with this guy!
They are the worst. I called AAA and waited 2HOURS no one ever came AAA kept saying they are on their way. After two hours of waiting AAA called and said tow drive refuses to tow saying it had a broken front tire and was abandoned. How can it be abandoned if I was there with the current registration also he said he wouldn’t tow because it was full of garbage It had a cab over the back of the pickup truck and had camping equipment in I called to speak to the manager 5 time over the past 3 days being told by the receptionist that Steve will call me back and that what happened to me was very wrong. I never received a phone call these people are very unethical and liars I would not trust them beware call someone another tow service and if you are with AAA Tell them you don’t want Bills tow service from Petaluma you want another tow company to help you One that will be courteous helpful and professional againBE WARE
I actually called AAA and they sent Bill's Towing To tell my Tesla Model S to the supercharger. The driver arrived within 6 minutes... which is a record in my book!!! He asked questions regarding the car to be thorough and was very knowledgeable...and also extremely nice, which I appreciate these days. My car was towed perfectly, which I also appreciated, especially since I couldn't get any other tow trucks in town to come and tow it for me (because it's a tesla).
I had been stuck there for quite some time, so my car had drained the battery down to three miles before it would have been dead...which really ruins the life of your battery.
Bills Towing responded to a AAA roadside assistance call I placed. The driver got to me within 10 minutes (or less) and had me back in the car Iwas locked out of in less than 5 minutes. So, good work AAA and great work Bills Towing!
Hal was my tow truck driver and I had to ride with him to my destination. Let me just say a great human being he was completely caring and understanding. Of my situation andcompassionate person I was surprised we hit it off well ...I recommend this tow company any day

I needed to get my suburban to a local shop after the serpentine belt came off. And Alex from Bill's Towing came within about 30 minutes with a big smile to help me out. He was fast, professional and overall a great guy. Which made the whole ordeal much better for me to deal with. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Alex and Bill's Towing!

I called them and asked if they could jumpstart my car battery. They said sure and that someone was nearby. I gave them the address and information about my car. I waited two whole hours and no one ever came. Should you ever have a car emergency, don’t waste your time with this joke of a company.
Helped me tow twice, for a very difficult situation. They were flexible to my towing needs and friendly. They also seem to have a great relationship and knowledge of the mechanics in the area and helped me find a mechanic I was very satisfied with.
