I have been a AAA member for over 50 years and this is the first time I’ve ever had such a horrible experience just needing my car charged. Came out to a dead battery two weeks ago and so I called the AAA number on the back of my membership card to come give me a jump… I called and requested service as I was stranded in a large parking lot in not a very safe area. It was getting dark and very late. I called again after 45 minutes not getting a response from anyone except for a strange text that they need more detail information and never received a request.. I called a third time after an hour and half go by, finally talk to a man and told them I’m alone I’m an older woman and street people are coming over to my car.. I felt very vulnerable and scared when is anyone coming to charge my car? This guy hangs up on me!! He says “hold and I’ll see what’s happening” then it just disconnects altogether! At this point my cell phone is dying and I have no way to charge it and how am I going to get AAA to get to me so I can get to a safe place and get home… it’s now around 10:00 pm!! I call yet again thru AAA and by this time I’m really frightened, alone, cold and just want to get to a safe place! Finally I get another person, a young woman and she says “we never got a service request for you… let me see if another company can come help you” I finally get a call back, my phone’s just about to die.. they said it would take a while for the driver to come help me. When the driver finally came he thought I needed a tow and I told him no, I only need a jump and it’s been over two and half hours.. he tells me that Rossi dropped my calls cause they don’t want to work with AAA?!!! Why do that to an older vulnerable woman in the city in a dark parking lot in a bad area?!!!! Unbelievable!!

We’ve dealt with Rossi’s Towing for many years now and continue to be impressed each time. Today Kendrick went above and beyond our call for help with an unexpected dead battery. He kindly checked all our tires and added air as needed and then proceeded to show our three year old all the cool things on his truck :) Rossi’s Towinh and their staff are real gifts to our community when you need help; professional, local and caring

Usually I like to give good feedback, in this case Rossi's took literally 2 hours tow my car, sad as they would change the arrival time on a frequent basis. Other companies seem to be quicker for an affordable price.

George from Rossi’s towing came out to help with our car’s dead battery when we contacted AAA. He was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. We really appreciated his assistance. The next time we have car trouble, we hope to be able to work with someone as great as him.

Our driver went above and beyond on a difficult towing situation! First tried for about 1/2 hour to fix the problem, then had to figure out how to get the car on and off the truck(with wheels curbed and parking brake on). Thank you for all of your help !!

My experiences with Rossi's are always great. They seem to contract with AAA so they're the ones who show up when I need a jump. Technicians are friendly and helpful. They're also usually happy to provide more info on how and why my battery might've drained, which is great.

Worse company I've used. Driver ended up apologizing to me for being rude when he dropped me off. He said his dispatcher was mad and it's been stressing him out. I guess that's reason to treat you customers horribly. He refused to talk to aaa when they called me over the phone. Aaa said to go ahead and tow me. I waited hours and somehow they denied to tow me in the end and left me stranded.

If I could rate this place a negative i would. Extremely rude after my car got towed on false reasons, would not allow me to buy back my car when I could afford it because they said they needed a release yet the officer had already given me one. I don't know, but I am not quite sure if they are breaking any laws as far as fair prices for holding a vehicle. Don't quote me on that I read the laws and it was still a bit unclear. Still don't choose them for your towing because when your getting towed against your will they will do everything in their power to keep your car and then some. My poor kid is so devastated we worked on that car together for months before to get it running all for a neighbor calling the cops because it wasn't a rich enough car in front of the yard

Heartless! My 16-year-old daughter volunteered at the Wharf to Wharf Race on Sunday, July 23, 2023, and mistakenly parked in a temporary no parking zone at around 6am. Our car was towed around 7am. She realized the car was gone around 9am. I called Santa Cruz Police and they directed me to Rossi’s Towing. I called Rossi’s at 9:19am and confirmed they had the car. We drove from North Monterey County and arrived at Rossi’s at 10:15am and a driver was already on-scene releasing a car to a different customer. He eventually released the car to us at around 10:30am and charged us $620. I called Rossi’s on August 21st and 22nd and explained the situation. They initially said they had no record of the tow. After I emailed them a copy of the receipt, they acknowledged the tow and essentially said the fees were in line. While we understand they have a business to run, their fees fit the definition of predatory. They obviously took advantage of the situation with their inflated costs. Their fees are at least three times more than Monterey when Monterey tows for Farmer’s Market. My daughter felt horrible and is paying us back for the tow bill. With a part time job, it will take nearly 48 hours of pay. She said she will still volunteer for the race next year ?.

My car was involved in a rear ending accident on South bound Highway 17 and was towed by Oscar and Adam from Rossi's. The car was supposed to be initially towed from the crash site to Rossi's yard in Santa Cruz, then get towed to my designated service center the next day. I was really worried about the whereabout of the car as there was some hiccups in the handling and communication between AAA and the Rossi's operators. However the next day Oscar called me to let me know he has my car and then called again to confirm once the car got dropped off. Thank you guys so much! It was a stressful situation but Oscar was very responsible in getting the job done.

Victor from Rossi showed up on time, replaced my car battery at home and was extremely professional. Great to have friendly service from a local company. Why goto Costco when you can call AAA? The price is the same inc’l installation and AAA offers a better warranty.

Rossi's Towing came out when our camper van snapped a ball joint. Our driver, Neal H. was able to get us out of the middle of the road that we were blocking. I have never seen such timely, masterful work in order to get a huge vehicle like this towed. Neal H made our experience much easier, not to mention his professionalism and knowledge. If ever I need a tow in the area, I would want Rossi's to help me. Friendly professional service!

I had a bad experience with this company. Called them at 9AM to help tow a fifth wheel trailer out. They gave a quote and a half hour later I talked to the driver. Driver says he’ll be there in an hour. Two hours go by and I’ve been waiting on the road for an hour. I call again and the grumpy dude on the phone says “oh we aren’t doing that job”. I say are u sure, I talked to the driver and he said he’s coming. Grumpy dude says no we aren’t doing it, too much liability. I say ok no problem but really the least you could have done is JUST LET ME KNOW so I could have avoided wasted hours of time waiting for you to show up. He said whatever bye. I will never be dealing with them again. VERY RUDE!!

Rossi's towing was fast and professional. I was in the area for a job interview and got an unfortunate flat tire from the drive to Santa Cruz. Triple AAA sent him our way and the performance was amazing. He diagnosed the type of flat I had, provided me with a place to go get the tire repaired and sent me on my way. I highly recommend him for any car troubles you have in the area.

Had a simple flat tire late at night. Called my AAA # ... an hour after the estimated time... driver shows up... never stops the truck...and keeps on driving. The dispatcher claimed that there was to much damage to my for him to change a tire? ... My car is in excellent shape... Never been in an accident. How could he see any damage from doing a drive by. I sure wish another more reputable tow company would take that AAA contract from Rossi's. Good luck to anyone that uses this company...if you can get them to work!!! If they had negative stars... Rossi's certainty deserves it!!!

We have AAA , our car battery died , and Rossi’s towing was dispatched to us, and showed up in less than 10 minutes!! our service tech, JAKE , got the car started , and was extremely professional and had a great attitude!!!.. we greatly appreciate the help and where back on the road quickly!!!..

I needed a simple jump, and Mike P. came out to help. He was very kind and friendly, and even gave my 4 year old a Hot Wheels tow truck. He pointed out that I was on E and offered to follow me to the gas station, in case it didn't start back up. It didn't, and I was so glad he was there to jump the battery again. He went above and beyond with his kindness and professional demeanor... You can tell he loves what he does. Thank you!!!

Worked with Jesus today when my Jeep didn't quite make the trek. He was kind, helpful, thorough, and efficient. Love working with Rossi/ AAA - this was through a AAA call but wanted to weigh in with my experience. 5 stars, super stoked on the service & grateful that I can easily trust them.

I got a tow last week from these guys and left my wallet in the back seat of the tow truck after taking my AAA card and drivers license out to show the driver (I had been informed by AAA it was required). I got out of the truck and left my wallet with $160 in the back seat. The driver never even bothered to check my information. After numerous calls, my wallet was never turned in. I guess $160 was more important than being honest. I'm pretty disappointed that this company appears to be my only option in my area with AAA.

I called AAA to get my car jump started and they sent Rossi's tow. I've never had any issues with my 2016 Dodge Dart till now. After nearly 85k miles the battery finally decided to give out. So the Rossi Tow guy checks my old battery and says it needs to be replaced. And he initially says he doesn't have a battery to replace mine...which I was ok with because I was planning on driving to an auto parts shop to get a battery. Then magically he says he's got something that's compatible. And so he installed it. The car started up and so I quickly signed the paperwork and paid the $150 for the battery. It wasn't till the Rossi Tow truck was long gone before I noticed my car stereo no longer worked, electronic throttle system down, malfunction indicator light on, and AC stopped working. When I called Rossi's directly they refused to take any responsibility and told me to go see a mechanic. This has been a huge headache. So I drove to Rossi's Tow office in Santa Cruz and demanded they fix all the issues they caused after installing my battery. They were able to fix the sensor issues except for my stereo which is extremely annoying. I can't afford to get my stereo fixed. Rossi's Tow should help me since they caused the issue.

They dragged towed our car and the driver accidentally scratched the entire bottom of the bumper. They ended up denying the claim stating we had had just "run over" a concrete parking bumper... I can honestly say we have never "run over" a concrete ledge/bumper hard enough for those scratches to be that bad.... but I had expected this would be their response. The whole office at Rossi's never made me feel like they really cared or wanted to help, and the ladies that answer the phones sound so rude and annoyed with you. Personally, I will be requesting Ladd's towing (they're terrific!) over Rossi's if I ever need another tow. If you do use Rossi's just be very weary when they drag tow your car.

The workers are all rude! The ladies in the office are not friendly. Even the tow truck driver is very rude! Very unsympathetic especially after being in a auto accident and your car has all of your belongings in it. They do not make it easy for you to pick up what you need from your car. Instead they lock there gates and only let the register owner go back there. Even if the car is yours. I do not know how this business stays open the only thing, I can think of is by ripping people off charging $250.00 for their fee. When the cops call for a tow for you and they store it for a day. The worst customer service I ever had in my life. The only thing they did nice was give us the number to a business that will take are totaled car.

They are my AAA provider for this area and over the years have provided excellent service and response times. Drivers and technicians have always been thorough and professional. The last recent incident was solved by a very thoughtful and detailed check of the electrical system on a Lexus, they managed to isolate the failed cell on a battery and even replaced it, then and there, with a quality Interstate battery at a very fair market price saving me time, money and a trip to the dealer in Monterey.

I called AAA and they dispatched Rossi's towing. I knew my car was having electrical problem. The driver Ross was friendly, courteous and worked efficiently. He even called my garage to ask a particular question about my car. I'm very impressed with their service.

In the process of removing an abandoned vehicle left on my property, it got away and rolled downhill into a stream, breaking our house's water main so it had to be removed immediately. I called Rossi's, and within 2 hours, the challenging extraction was completed. The driver Ross was very courteous and professional, and he worked safely but quickly in order to incur minimum cost to us. I was very satisfied with the experience, and would not hesitate to recommend Rossi's if you have a similar problem.

my suburban broke down at Costco. Heath was with us quickly. he was professional and friendly. he jumped the car and we went to leave but it died again. he stopped and came to check on us, checked the engine, said we needed to be towed and called us a tow truck. the repair shop was closed and we ended up needed to be towed home. I can not remember the name of the next guy that came but he was again friendly and professional and sweet with my kids. he dropped the car at our house which is in the mountains on a double blind corner, it was parked perfectly. thank you guys both for your help :)

Danger - This is business will rip you off! They are not a body shop. After an accident AAA dispatched one of their tow trucks to assist us. The driver lied about not actually being a body shop. When we found out they were a scam, they refused to release my car to me. They held my car for 4 days, charging $85 per day as "storage fees". The first day of "storage" was for 1 hour between 11pm and midnight! I had to pay the ransom and have the car towed to a legitimate body shop to be repaired. I have complained to AAA and the local police who are investigating. Rossi's has had numerous other complaints. They are crooks and extort money from people who should be treated as costumers. Never let them get ahold of your vehicle.
