Always trying to sell a new tire . Told them I plugged my tires so I can drive home And ask if they’re able to patch it up . They said come on in they’ll take care of it ! Came in and said they don’t do the because it’s plugged . I said I confirmed this over the phone they said we can’t touch the tire . Horrible service . Always trying to make a buck
My tire was losing air, so I stopped by America’s Tire after work the same day. The team quickly checked my tire and repaired it right away.
The service was fast, professional, and friendly, and to my surprise, they didn’t charge me anything. I really appreciated how efficient and helpful everyone was.

Every America's Tire store I have visited has been a model of expertise and efficiency. This Redwood City location is no exception. We had road hazard damage to a front tire in Menlo Park on Sunday evening, arrived at this America's Tire location at 8:00 Monday morning and was out the door with our free replacement tire, balanced and mounted by 8:30 AM.
Few national businesses are able to maintain such high standards at almost every store. Trader Joe's is one I can think of, Costco another, and America's Tire continues to prove themselves worthy members of this elite group.
I needed someone to install new tires I bought online. They were able to install them at a competitive price. I also purchased their tire insurance which was fairly priced.
Shout out to Jason and Alex for their customer service! They were professional, informative, and patient. Despite it being busy during the holidays, they kept me updated when my job would be completed. I was a walk in, so my total time, including wait, was 3 hours.
I recommend making an appointment if you want to minimize your wait time.
Took my Cybertruck here to get the K03 tires on. They did a pretty good job, rims don't look scratched. Only thing they missed was to record the maintenance under the service menu. I will definitely go back to them in the future. I scheduled an appointment for 2pm, and they took my truck back around 2:45 and finished at 3:30. Lots of people were waiting.
My first experience with this company ever. I was several hours away from home on a weeklong work trip & stressed out because I had called several places and no one had my tire size, or they were unable to take me as a walk in that same day even though I had an emergency. From the moment I called this place their customer service was amazing. They confirmed they had my tire size in stock and that I could be taken as a walk in. When I arrived their customer service was even better in person. Unfortunately while there I found out I needed to replace two tires not just one. Earlier that week I had to replace a tire already so I was on a tight budget. They made it happen for me and replaced both of my tires within my budget. Not only did they save my day and allow me to still get home safely but the service was quick and very professional. I’ll definitely be back for all my future tire needs.
I work with the Redwood City America's tire, Jaun the manager is always there to greet people and gets things done. My go to person is Denen, he is very familiar with our business and gives us the best deals available to us. We own a used auto sales location in Redwood City, when we work with the local store, we know we are getting great deals and our customers can always take their car anywhere in the US for a flat tire or free balancing if they need it, no one else can provide that type of service across the nation, except them. I came in with a nail in the side of my tire, hoping it was repairable, unfortunately it wasn't, but thankfully they had the same size tire in stock and had me all ready to go in less than 45 minutes which was surprising for how busy they were. I can't remember the gentleman who helped but he was great,(had a Beard and longer hair) knowledgeable and patient. Definitely coming back for my future tier needs.
The best americas tire store in Bay Area. Taken care of my wheels and tires very well. Fast and professional! Been two 2 stores in San Jose, and union city for the unbalanced tire, non of the San Jose and union store were remove all weights on the wheel and rebalance. My car been shaking ever since I got new tires. One of the store even told me it can’t be balanced my wheel has a crack. But the Redwood City store was able to balance my tire by removing all weights and adding new. I’m happy again!
I called Redwood City at 4:10 on a Saturday after Palo Alto turned me away. The guy who answered the phone was super nice and said come on in. He checked me in at 4:35 — on a Saturday, 5pm closing. Was just as nice in person. I later had a chat about manual transmission and cars with the guy who drove my car into the service bay. The whole experience was so positive. Everyone's energy was awesome — they seemed like they enjoy working with each other.
This is at least the second time that I have called Palo Alto in advance, they have invited me to show up as a walk-in, and then turned me away. I'm not gonna risk it at that location again. It matters how you treat your customers. At some point I will buy another set of nice performance tires, and I'm giving my business to Redwood City. Sincere thanks to everyone who helped me today. I got out of there at like 5:30. They stayed late. I appreciate it.
I walked in on a Saturday at around 10 am for a slow tire leak, not knowing where exactly on the tire it was and whether it would be repairable or need to be replaced. Place was clean, well-lit, and it seemed like all the store associates was busily working. I had barely waited in line only to be helped by a service associate, but I sadly forgot his name, I think it was something along the lines of John David. He was courteous, professional, and efficient in his handling of my case. After a few questions, a brief car inspection, and explanation of possible outcomes, he got my car in the shop and gave me an estimate of 11:30 - 11:45. Not bad.
Nice bonus about this location is that you're a 10 min walk away from downtown to just pass some time, which I was able to do at one of the local coffee shops.
At around 11:15, I get a text that my car was ready for pickup. At pickup, I learned from the friendly manager Juan that the tire was thankfully patchable, the current tread level for my tires (always good to know), and that the repair was free.
Great experience and resolution overall for an issue that had been causing me some anxiety. Would go again when my tires need actual replacing.
Not sure why I made an appt. Took over 2 hours since I checked in. Then they told me that tire pressure was incorrect on the TPMS on my phone after I refreshed it mutiple times. To placate me they added air to the tire. Refreshed app on my phone after and what do you know, tire reading at same presure as rest of tire. Tire psi was 5+ difference between other tirees. The person who checked in behind me was out 30 mins before I was and was a man. Shouldnt matter but it does here. Fine to go here if your male but do not go here as solo female as clearly discriminatory.
I visited this shop after making an appointment for a tire rotation and balance service. It seemed like the work had been finished a long time ago, yet no one informed me. My car was parked behind the shop next to the trash bins, and if the service had actually been completed, the tire pressure should have been adjusted—but that wasn’t done either.
I understand they may be busy, but tires are directly related to people’s safety and lives. I can no longer trust this place, and I’m not even sure they performed the service I requested. I approached a staff member to ask about the status of my car and mentioned that it was parked next to the trash cans. The only response I got was, “Go to the office and pick up your key.”
I was extremely disappointed and will never return. If anyone is considering coming here for tire issues, I strongly suggest avoiding this place and finding another shop. It would be a much wiser choice.
Came here on 11/15 when Costco turned me down for a visit even though I had a toddler and a flat that you couldn’t drive on. Mac was the one to answer my call, help check me in and I watched him deal with a very upset customer for no reason. Needless to say, great customer service from the whole team at Americas tires and thank you guys for all of your help.
This place truly earned my 5 stars and respect. I’m a car lover — not a full-blown enthusiast, but definitely someone who cares deeply about how my vehicles are handled. I’ve had some disappointing experiences at other service locations around the Peninsula when bringing in my performance SUV and sedan.
Those shops looked professional on the outside (4+ stars rating in Google Maps), with clear windows into the service bay (which I thought meant transparency), but I personally witnessed technicians sitting in my driver’s seat to take photos, tossing center caps around like toys, and even manually slamming my power trunk instead of using the button. Thankfully, no damage was done, but it was still frustrating. Managers apologized, but nothing ever changed.
Today, I gave the Redwood City location a try — one last hope. I came in for a tire replacement after finding a nail in the sidewall. Denon at the front desk greeted me right away, went over the details, and took the time to note my request to use the trunk button instead of pulling it manually. When David, received the car in the service bay, I could actually see Denon reminding him of this detail — and David followed through exactly as asked.
Small things like that really stand out to people who care about their cars. The install cost me $28 for a customer-supplied tire — not the cheapest around, but absolutely worth it for the professionalism, respect, and smooth experience.
If the shop owner happens to read this: great job. Your team at Redwood City has earned my trust, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future business.
Ordered a set of KO3s and had them installed here. Staff were professional and installed them in a timely manner. I heard some very slight ticking noises in my back left wheel caused by one of the wheel weights, went back in the same day and they fixed the issue promptly and rebalance my wheels again. Would come here again.
Juan and the whole team are awesome. I bought tires from this location before and they were great. This time I had a screw in my tire and they plugged it free of charge! Will definitely come back for my next tire needs.

Americas Tires In Redwood City is the Best great customer service very knowledgeable staff and great prices!! I love coming here cuz they treat you like family and keep your car in great condition!! They let you know what you need and always are open to give advice!!
I generally have a great experience here but was very disappointed today. I came with a confirmed appointment at 9 am and told them so at check in, and they checked me in as a standby, which I didn't find out until I asked for an update after waiting over two hours with no updates. Ultimately it took almost 3 hours to get my car back for a routine tire rotation.
Great store, I was in and out quickly. I would recommend that you order online and make an appointment. Craig helped me out. He was attentive and knew a lot about cars. Ask for him!
Wow, my first experience here and definitely my go to shop from now on! I previously had maintained my fleets tires at Les Schwab Tires, but currently there is no Les Schwab locations near me, so I gave America's Tire Co. a shot after another friend recommended them. Everything about the experience was above and beyond my best expectations. The team there is just that, a team. They work with a level of hyper-efficiency I have never seen before in person, only comparable to a NASCAR or F1 racing pit crew!
Make sure to double-check your tires before leaving. I recently had new tires put on, and once I got home, my TPMS light came on. After checking, I realized one of the tires was the wrong size, the sidewall was 45 instead of 40. When I called, the response felt a bit indifferent; they just told me to come back and they’d swap it out. While I didn’t ask for compensation, it would have been nice for them to acknowledge the inconvenience and offer something for the extra time and hassle. Because of this experience, I’ll probably take my business elsewhere next time.
Very nice sales people. They measured the tread left on my tires and helped me with the decision to replace them rather than rotate them again. Was quoted it would take 90 minutes - it took 20 extra minutes but that's close enough for me and the lobby is clean and comfortable with free wi-fi.
This location has great customer service. The staff was patient and took their time explaining prices and going over my invoice. They didn’t rush or talk over me like at other places. I had to wait in line even with an appointment, but once my car was in, I was out in 15 minutes. The manager was active on the floor, helping direct traffic and thanking customers. Overall, a good place to get your tires serviced.
Always a good experience with these guys. Got a flat tire, was towed to the shop. Had to replace both rear tires and was done in 30 mins. They have a pretty good selection in store, though on-the-spot pricing is not the best. You are better off waiting for their sale or shop ahead to get a matching price. Obviously, not applicable when you have an emergency.
Update - They replaced the tires I hated with new ones, exactly the ones that came with the car that I liked, and fast! The price difference was returned to my card. They gave me new lugs that are better than the ones that were damaged, and I’m waiting to hear about the rims. Probably will rewrite this review after that.
When I was walking to the car, I felt like I had five star service. It was fast. The tires were in stock. They answered the phone and were really nice in person.
The little lug lock I was carrying with me looked damaged. I decided to look at the tires and check the work. There were scratched lugs, almost all of them. The Rims had lots of new chipped paint around the lugs.
I had asked for performance tires, so he sold me the most expensive tire they had in stock that would fit. 80k mile tires. These tires are meant to last a long time, not perform. The car is sliding all over the road on dry pavement.
Honestly, I hate writing reviews, but damn—this place exceeded my expectations for customer service. I was looking for specific tires and wheels, and no one seemed to have them. I called America’s Tire in Redwood City, and Andrew came through. He ordered exactly what I needed, told me when they’d arrive, and made the whole process super fast and easy.
A couple of days later, I changed my mind and wanted a different set. I called them up again, and they placed the new order with no problem. They called me when the new tires came in, and I made an appointment for Tuesday (today). I dropped my truck off, and they had me in and out in under an hour.
Andrew—thank you again. If you see this review, come by my barbershop, Coastline Barbershop in San Mateo. I’d love to offer you a free haircut for being so nice and helpful. I’ll forever bring all my cars here for any future tire needs.
Excellent service! Came here on a different day and the power went out right before they started on my car. However, I was promised immediate service if I come back on another day without an appointment. I just came in, today, during lunch and they are busy. But the guy behind the counter remembered me and put my car in for immediate service. I had all 4 tires replaced. Everything took less than 50 minutes.
I appreciate their commitment to their work and customers. Great experience and I Will come back for my tire rotation.
