This is the best tire service around. The best service I have ever experienced at a tire repair shop hands down. If you ever decide to get any auto care from here ask for Santino Angeles. He is by far the best service rep there is... super honest guy with a heart of gold. Thanks for everything!
We called ahead to ask if an appointment was needed for an oil change, and the person on the phone said they could do it right away. When we arrived, Carlos told us it would take an hour. I mentioned that oil changes usually take around 15–20 minutes, and he laughed and said something like “if you know anything about oil changes.” He then left our car sitting there for about 40 minutes without touching it. Extremely unprofessional and rude attitude — definitely not how customers should be treated. Very disappointing experience.
They were very accommodating with my payments and did a great job to reduce the overall bill amount in spite of the long labor hours they put in. I am very happy with the results and loved the support and care they put in through this entire ordeal.

Awesome service! As soon as i walked in i was greeted. Edgardo was the person that helped me and he was amazing very polite and answered all my questions . He was never pushy about doing any service but made me understand how important it was. They took my car in immediately and didn't take long to have my car ready. Are you kidding? These guys fixed my flat for free! I had a nail in the right front. They also made sure all titles were properly pressurized. I've never been here before and am not even local!
They did a good job installing my new tires. I upgraded from brand new dealerships tires to All Terrain tires for mountaing riding. They were trying to UPSELL ME or charge me to dispose of the four new tires that came in my car..lol....funny
I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service I received from Edgardo. From the moment I walked in, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled professionally and efficiently.
What really stood out was his attentiveness and willingness to listen. I had a few concerns about a recent service visit, and rather than brushing it off, he took the time to personally inspect my car, explain what had been done, and address all of my questions. He showed a genuine commitment to making things right, which is rare and appreciated.
He also kept the team running smoothly, even during a busy afternoon. It was clear he has strong leadership skills. The staff seemed motivated, organized, and respectful. The whole atmosphere of the shop reflected their influence.
It's refreshing to deal with someone who takes pride in their work and truly cares about the customer experience. If every location had a manager like this, Firestone would set the standard for auto care service. Highly recommend!
I recently visited for a routine maintenance and an oil change. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with the experience. Alan was very polite and welcoming from the moment I walked in. He explained the estimated wait time clearly, and I appreciated the transparency about pricing before any work began.
What stood out was his communication. I got a detailed report of everything they checked, including things I didn’t specifically ask for, like the brakes and battery condition. They didn’t push unnecessary services but did let me know about a few future maintenance items to keep an eye on. That kind of proactive information is helpful, especially when budgeting for car care.
In all, he delivered professional, courteous customer service and solid work. I’d feel comfortable going back for future maintenance or repairs!
This place has been nothing but amazing. I am amazed of how every time I show up they are happy to see me and happy to work on my car. Special shout out to Alan who helped me and Javier who worked on my car. I will always be coming back to this location.
Very nice staff!! Helpful and knowledgeable and most of all professional. I've had mixed bag experiences at Firestone-the absolute worst being at an Oakland location and varied experiences, mostly pleasant though at my previous main location in SF. The experience at the Redwood City location was just great. Loved the communication and the follow through.
Overall horrible and hostile service. Disorganized. They wasted my time and then blamed ME for being upset when the work wasn't done. I confirmed they had the correct phone number before I left because I suspected they would fall short, and they did. No accountability, no teamwork, entitled, and dishonest. If you want to know how to alienate customers from a brand, this is the place. 6 people working and no tires on my car.
The entire day was wasted due to their not calling me and then shifting the blame. And, when customers express their frustration, you don't follow them out to the parking lot and confront them like a hysterical Karen. It's a tire shop, not a middle school sensitivity class. Suck it up and GET THE JOB DONE! My heart went out to the older guy who seemed to be doing everything in the shop. This was maybe one of the worst customer service experience I've ever had. It takes a lot for me to leave a comment.
While I enjoyed my last experience there has since been a change at the customer facing side of the business. They were very polite, answered my questions, got the work done ahead of the projected time, and even called me according it should be done with 30-45 minutes…now that’s extraordinary customer service!
One of my requests was for them to check my brakes since I had recently purchased the van from Enterprise. Their report back was everything was looking good…no recommend repairs. Customer service and honest dealing…what a gift! I will continue bringing my vehicles here.
Firestone was able to get my camper-van oil change done with a same day appointment. Making the appointment was easy, the waiting area was comfortable, and the service was top notch!
I stopped by this location because my car was making a strange rattling noise, and honestly, I’m not the most car-savvy person. Thankfully, I had the pleasure of being helped by a gentleman named Brendan. He was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to answer every single one of my (many!) questions without hesitation. His professionalism and friendly attitude instantly put me at ease. Not only did he help identify the issue, but he also made sure it was resolved quickly and efficiently. The customer service here is truly top-tier—10/10! I’ll absolutely be returning for any future car troubles. Highly recommend!
I have gone to this location a few times previously, but today was the worst. Called and made an appointment once they opened for noon for 2 vehicles. Dropped off one of the cars right before noon, estimated an hour to an hour and a half. Called to check up later, and they have not even started on my car. Wasted 2 hours of my day. Went to pick up the first car and drop off the second car. I noticed my car was parked over the sidewalk; I thought looked weird, but once I went inside, I saw that they did not pull up the emergency brakes and my car is stick shift, so it had been rolling. They stated one person was ahead (even though I had an appointment since 12 noon), so the second car was not done until closing. What should have taken a couple hours took half my day. What is the point of making an appointment then? And how is someone else ahead of me when I've already been delayed? Is it so difficult to pull the e-brake after parking a car? And they said there's nothing they can do to compensate all of the problems they caused.
The office staff is very friendly and efficient very welcoming. The technician that worked on my car javier is very eloquent and efficient answered questions I had regarding the needs of my car overall a very satisfying experience
It was my first time at this location and the employees did a phenomenal and timely job on my car. Brendan, particularly, worked with me and answered my questions regarding the diagnostic report well. My entire experience was seamless. There’s also a delicious donut shop nearby!
This fire stone is the best I’ve ever been to. The manager Edgardo has a great staff especially Alan and Tino. They helped me get a great deal on tires and the customer service was the best I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend coming here for your next visit or tires.
I came here recently because my car was having a lot of different problems. I was quickly greeted by a man named Brendan, who then examined my car and told me what the issues were and what it would cost to fix it. He was very honest and upfront about what the estimate would be, and answered all my questions in a helpful manner. I really appreciated the customer service, which is hard to come by these days. Thank you so much for everything you have done! My car was fixed up in no time, and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!!
Grateful for this location! When I'm on the Peninsula, this is my to-go Firestone location for mostly anything that has to do with tires and oil changes. Their online system is user friendly and I'm always able to schedule in basic maintenance with no issues. Second, for same-day services, they were able to get me in for a potential patch job and thankfully, I didn't have to get a new tire. Technician Mario did an amazing job with the patch: it didn't even look like a typical patch, like it was just part of the tire!
They have a nice open seating area that faces El Camino so I'm usually just watching the crazy world go by. TV and coffee for the mornings, afternoons are for catching up on emails or chillaxing.
They are transparent with the pricing and the "recommendations" at the end of my visits align with my expectations so I appreciate the gentle reminders. I've been trying to learn more through hands-on experience, so I use their recommendations timeline as guidance.

My daughter bought new tires two weeks ago which they quoted $600 for the tires. At check out they added over $300 in misc charges that was not mentioned on the initial call including insurance. One tire got a nail in it and she returned to have it fixed under the tires two weeks warranty. She was charged another $30 for the service. I feel there should have been no charge for the warranty work. Moving forward I am not sure I would return to Firestone nor will I recommend them.
I feel the guys do a great job on my car I like the convenience of same day drop in service at this local neighborhood full service auto repair and maintenance shop and the front desk is very polite and quick to service you. Just an area of improvement. I dropped off the car at 11 for an oil change and alignment. They said they would call me to let me know when it’s ready. I never received a call or missed call, I called them at 5:20 and they said it should be done before they close at six. I just feel a phone call before the end of the day with an update on letting me know it’s ready would be great. Maybe implement a text messaging update system? I’m still going to come back to this store. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and have received consistently solid service The prices are great as they are willing to give you discounts and the front desk team and new management are quite good. I appreciate the response.

I’ve been a loyal Firestone customer for years, and out of the five cars I’ve owned , all have been serviced, maintained, and had their tires purchased at Firestone . My most recent visit was for my 2000 Toyota Tundra , and thanks to Jose’s excellent work as a mechanic , he identified some issues that I’ll be addressing soon. The professionalism of the team here is outstanding , and Brendan at the front counter deserves special recognition . He’s knowledgeable, patient, and always ensures I fully understand what’s going on with my vehicles .

I have visited Firestone Redwood City Branch for allligmant. The store manager Michael Hawat was amazing, proffesional and so friendly. We set up schedule so easy. He care for my car so much and did inspection for my concern. All stuff and technicians were awesome at this location. They did great job. The waiting area also so comfortable. Highly recommended.
