I had a really positive experience. I scheduled an appointment to fix a flat, they serviced it quickly, and didn't end up charging me for the fix. I'd happily return.
I made an appointment online today and went there to have an oil change. I told them I just bought this used car not sure if I needed an oil change. They checked and told me I don’t need to charge now. They also checked the tires pressures. I just need to go back in the near future. And they didn’t charge me anything ! I’m just so grateful for their service and honesty ! I will definitely go back.
Edgardo and Santino did an incredible job. They were communicative, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. Their work was flawless, and they truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend both for raises and formal recognition for their great communication and work ethic!

They added cracks with AI on a photo of my tires and claimed needed new ones with plenty of tread. Confirmed with Costco tire center this was complete scam. They showed me lack of cracks.
The time I went before to this location for an oil change they did not seat the filter right which caused $600 of damage due to oil leaking.

We found the Redwood Firestone through a towing service. Our car had broken down 30 miles from SF (we had driven from SD that morning). It was a terrible scene with a possible transmission broken. The staff at Redwood Firestone...I think Carlos was the front desk person...were 100% kind, professional and helpful. They helped us get into a LYFT to get to the city and held the car while they assessed the problems. They also provided assistance to the car transport and tow that came to get the car to return to Southern CA. All this while I was attending business in SF. This was a very important time for me and my family and it was a safe success because of this Firestone in Redwood City. THANK YOU FOR HELPING two older travelers.
Excellent communication from the front desk team. Went beyond the call of duty for a simple oil change. Applied a timely discount that I was not aware of. Have used this location for years but the current customer service team is the best.
I've been a Firestone customer for over 15 years, been going to the same locations, never had an issue. But that changed this morning, Nov 9th at 8:56am, while in California at this Redwood City location. I walked in and was greeted with a dismissive and rude tone by one of the employees, a taller, heavy set guy with a beard. He said, "We're not open yet. You have to go outside. We have cameras." Whatever happened to saying good morning, hi, hola,.. "we have cameras" what is that supposed to mean? I'm there for an oil change and had talked to Santino earlier and stopped in Saturday. I got in my vehicle and left. Firestone please teach your employees proper customer service, there's no excuse for being rude to a longtime customer and military veteran, or anyone for that fact.
We called ahead to ask if an appointment was needed for an oil change, and the person on the phone said they could do it right away. When we arrived, Carlos told us it would take an hour. I mentioned that oil changes usually take around 15–20 minutes, and he laughed and said something like “if you know anything about oil changes.” He then left our car sitting there for about 40 minutes without touching it. Extremely unprofessional and rude attitude — definitely not how customers should be treated. Very disappointing experience.
They were very accommodating with my payments and did a great job to reduce the overall bill amount in spite of the long labor hours they put in. I am very happy with the results and loved the support and care they put in through this entire ordeal.

While I enjoyed my last experience there has since been a change at the customer facing side of the business. They were very polite, answered my questions, got the work done ahead of the projected time, and even called me according it should be done with 30-45 minutes…now that’s extraordinary customer service!
One of my requests was for them to check my brakes since I had recently purchased the van from Enterprise. Their report back was everything was looking good…no recommend repairs. Customer service and honest dealing…what a gift! I will continue bringing my vehicles here.
Grateful for this location! When I'm on the Peninsula, this is my to-go Firestone location for mostly anything that has to do with tires and oil changes. Their online system is user friendly and I'm always able to schedule in basic maintenance with no issues. Second, for same-day services, they were able to get me in for a potential patch job and thankfully, I didn't have to get a new tire. Technician Mario did an amazing job with the patch: it didn't even look like a typical patch, like it was just part of the tire!
They have a nice open seating area that faces El Camino so I'm usually just watching the crazy world go by. TV and coffee for the mornings, afternoons are for catching up on emails or chillaxing.
They are transparent with the pricing and the "recommendations" at the end of my visits align with my expectations so I appreciate the gentle reminders. I've been trying to learn more through hands-on experience, so I use their recommendations timeline as guidance.

I’ve been a loyal Firestone customer for years, and out of the five cars I’ve owned , all have been serviced, maintained, and had their tires purchased at Firestone . My most recent visit was for my 2000 Toyota Tundra , and thanks to Jose’s excellent work as a mechanic , he identified some issues that I’ll be addressing soon. The professionalism of the team here is outstanding , and Brendan at the front counter deserves special recognition . He’s knowledgeable, patient, and always ensures I fully understand what’s going on with my vehicles .

I have visited Firestone Redwood City Branch for allligmant. The store manager Michael Hawat was amazing, proffesional and so friendly. We set up schedule so easy. He care for my car so much and did inspection for my concern. All stuff and technicians were awesome at this location. They did great job. The waiting area also so comfortable. Highly recommended.
