Worst customer service ever. I blew out my bearing on my boat trailer and needed it towed 34 miles. They quoted me 1330.00. They wanted all the information sent through pictures and I only had one bar on my phone and it wouldn't send. They had the payment info but wouldn't send out a tow truck until it all went through. It was extremely frustrating that they would accommodate me. After an hour and half of trying to deal with them, I decided to call someone else. That call took 5 minutes and was 900.00 cheaper. I would never use or trust this company..
Worst mechanic spot you can go too it's over priced and they dont get the job done right the first time plus impound fees are too much more than watt the cars are worth
The man who helped me get my possessions from my totalled car was very helpful, respectful, and genuine during this emotional time for me. Thank you so much for helping me dig through shards and slivers of glass to help me retrieve my valuable items!
Fantastic experience here with both tow and service. My truck broke down just a block away from their shop. The tow came quickly, and they got the work done first thing the next morning. On time and for a reasonable price. Good, friendly service. What more could I hope for? They definitely made a very stressful situation go a lot smoother than it otherwise would have. Thank you!
This shop is Awesome, I have a 11 Subaru wrx and these guys fixed a issue that Modesto Subaru couldn’t figure out, thanks guys I’ll be back, not only did they fix my car they are also awesome people and have great customer service every time
McDowell & Davis has been our choice for towing services since moving to the area in 1989. They are AAA partners and are State Farm's towing contractor as well. The only other service we've used is their smog certification station and they've always helped us get everything done. If you are having services done, drop off is a better choice since they only have a couple of chairs sitting in their 'office' along with a couple of park benches outside.
My 2000 S-10 broke down on Milton Rd at 6:00 on a Friday night so the AAA tow service from Oakdale towed me in to Escalon. The mechanic talked to me Monday morning about the fact that I drove about 8 miles after the steering went out and there could be some damage..I had a broken serpentine belt and driving caused the engine to overheat. The mechanic was great, explained everything to me as he worked on it letting me know what the damage was. Everyone there is really helpful, good people. When I picked up my truck, the mechanic, (Abdul) had written out every single detail about the repair and attached it to the invoice. The truck runs great, they did a great job!! I highly recommend this shop.
Manny pick my girlfriend and I up in the middle of nowhere. It was very hot and he was very attentive to my girlfriend and I providing us with a cold drink and air conditioning. He tried helping me fix my car but we couldn't get it done. He drive us from copperopolis all the way to red Bluff and it was the most pleasant tow experience I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend manny to anyone anytime. Thank you Manny for all you did for us yesterday we truly appreciate it more than you know.

McDowell towing went out of there way for me They are a AAA COMPANY that drove 35 miles to pick me up because the tow company that HAS THE Lodi AAA contract. I was 150-200 yards AWAY from there yard they pass on me because they where waiting on a rotation call and didn't want to take me 45 miles out of town watch two other trucks drive by empty past me when I was sitting there so my hat goes off to McDowell's thank you...
They understand a sitting tow truck isn't making any money so thank you again
