I attend AMT college courses at this location. There are several options for tourists and travelers. MillionAir is a starting point for making flight arrangements and tours. You can also eat at the Jet-a-Way Café. There are many locations for employment opportunities. VVC offers several courses at their SCLA location that train in aviation, factory maintenance, forklift training, and truck driving. The SCLA location has more than meets the eye to offer.

Great for plane lovers like me. But it isn’t open to the public, but you can see quite a few on the outskirts!

Love seeing the planes. Spoke with a nice security guard. She told me that it's not open to the public but she allowed me to take a few pictures anyway. She said that some planes are there temporary especially when the airports are overcrowded. Boeing also has offices near there as well. What is eerie is the abandoned housing down the street. Looks like it was for employees because the sign said Logistic something or other. I can't remember. I can't believe they let that whole community rot away. It could have been used for our Veterans.

I fly here for my IFR certification requirement long cross country flight. You never know how stunning these ladies are until you see them by yourself. I wish I can fly them soon.

I am fascinated by aviation. This airport has it all. Relics, regeneration, repurposing. Airliners, cargo aircraft.

Went to the VVC location on Saber road. Very quiet between classes. Very windy day.

If you live in the High Desert like I do and have for any length of time chances are you've been to this airport in the past when it was George Air Force Base and now since it's been the Logistics Airport. The number of retired planes here is staggering and the whole place is interesting and worth the trip if you're in the area.

This airfield isn't a tourist attraction. ComAv Technical Services provide aircraft storage facilities and parts reclamation to the major global airlines for their end of lease or life aircraft. Distant views of the inhabitants are possible from the south side and those who are brave enough can explore the fence line along the west side. However, beware. If your vehicle gets caught in the sand it could be a long wait for a tow out; remember the vehicle recovery firm has to find you first in the back of beyond....

The heat and low humidity make this a great location for storing your spare jetliners during a pandemic, but the surrounding area is home to large populations of scorpions and Mohave rattlesnakes who find the wheel wells great places to curl up. Make sure you give the wheels a good whack with an old broom handle before touching anything.

Does anyone know the exact location where I can see all the plane at a good distance.

Great place for plane spotting; it's easy to get close to the stored aircraft although the graveyard unfortunately was a bit further away (accessed by dirt roads, definitely rattled the car suspension!).

This is a phenomenal airport if you’re up for the drive. Situated some 100+ miles away from LA, this airfield has lots of fun spots to take peeks in of Retired, grounded or newly made (Boeing) planes. It offers many different spotting locations That are accessible (most) by dirt roads or the main parking lots. I highly suggest spotting here if you love aviation or schedule a tour (I’ve heard that it’s better for tours across the Mojave at Mojave Air and Space Port which is another airplane graveyard!)

Cool but kinda creepy. It was cool to see all the planes sitting around there.

Southern California Logistics Airport is not just an airport it is an airplane graveyard where there are a bunch of old planes that airlines retire due to operating costs or upgrade of fleets. they have all sorts of aircrafts from the Md-11 to the 747-400 I definitely would check this out if you like airplanes like me or want to become an aviation mechanic or pilot it is massive and I would highly recommend it

Pretty interesting place to be honest - I've never seen such a huge collection of mothballed aircraft and standby fleets.

This place has been home to the Airforce, boarder patrol drone training, logistics airrport for Fedex UPS, and its even been in the walking dead. I have visted this base for the last 9 years to battle and have Airsoft Wargames with my battle buddies from Utah Airsoft. I suggest checking out the base. Its super scary and feels very haunted on every street. This isna great place to film an apocalypse style movie. Be advised that there are 30mph winds constant at the base. Enjoy life. Good for what it is. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here mainly because it is literally the only thing around for miles.
