I have been dealing with CC for 5 years, never a problem. Jeff will keep my 51 year old car going with his available parts. I visited his shop a couple of years ago. First class all the way.
They sent me defectife parts and dindn't answer my messages. You should check the parts that you ship. I know I should have checked it immedeatly after recieving it but you didn't even answer my messages. Now your lying and saying that i didnt order anything from you even though I ordered multiple parts from you. Why would i write a bad review if there was no reason?

Not only did they make it right…they made it right extremely fast, acknowledged the error, and sent me a label for return shipping! It turns out customer service still exists! Poor customer service. Jeff doesn't know it all, but he think he does. Send me the wrong parts and then wants to charge me a restocking fee for his mistake. Nice try. I am the VP of the company and went over the entire transaction with the person at our company that dealt with you.
Super Happy, Looked all over for carburetors, started to give up hope, then I talked to Jeff. He had them on the shelf and I had them in two days, my only regret is I didn't find California Corvair sooner. Thanks again Jeff!!
Cal has a good reputation for parts but don't send them any parts. I sent a 140hp breather lid to be rechromed because they had none in stock. Over a month later I was called it was done and the invoice was almost 30% more than the agreed on price with no explanation. I was told "I'm not going to argue about it". They also quoted twice what I paid to ship it. What's wrong with box I shipped it in? Probably lost. If I don't pay the shake down they keep the lid, sell it, and I now have no lid at all. In these cases they usually say the customer is confused to get themselves off the hook but that just compounds the distrust. Very very disappointed
My grandfather passed away in nov last year. He left me with a couple corvairs to fix. Jeff had supplied him with parts. I drove from San Diego to corona. After having problems with his rebuild kits. He was rude and unhelpful to my grandmother and myself. None of the accelerator pump cones I purchased in these kits fit. They are to small, he gave me linkages and told me it would fix the problem. Still have no fuel. Total scam and really unprofessional in any help at all. Aswell as incomplete kits missing Venturi gaskets and clips. Will not ever being doing business with Jeff ever.
Needs a secondary carb and found it quick easy fast and cheap on the website. Delivered as promised. Notified every step of the way. Just awesome!!! Will using them for everything now for my Cordelia the Corvair. Highly recommended
Possibly one of the only places left that specialize in corvairs. I spoke with Jeff at length about what it's going to take to revive my 1964 Greenbrier van that long to my grandmother. Jeff was very helpful and had a lot of insight on common issues. I will be going here a lot as I restore my old van.
I've had great experience with California corvairs restoring my 61 Corvair. I needed a few parts and they always had what I needed and advice on how to install them.
Have been more than pleased with these guys. Every time I order a part they ask me several questions about the job I am doing so I get the correct parts in the first place. Drove down there today and just as helpful in person.
