So lovely and clean! Very welcoming staff, good quality clean cabins. You can really tell the staff love their jobs! So clean and quiet in the park. The laundry room and shower house are exceptionally clean, and the park all around. The tenants that occupy the park also care for each other and help each other out. Very welcoming. They have a park for kids, a house for the tenants to all hangout in, propane, dump, shower house & on site laundry room!

I loved staying the night here. The firepit, with friends, was the best! Quaint little cabins that are so comfortable. Would recommend staying here. Also we rented out the rec room. It was a blast!

My husband and I have lived here about 5 months and love it! It’s quiet, clean, and comfortable. It’s got an amazing community of people and the office staff are so helpful when we have questions or concerns!

It’s the best little get a way spot in the entire desert! Compared to many other rv parks in the area this is by far the nicest, and they’re non profit and a historic landmark! With an onsite museum! Go check it out and if your in town go enjoy one of their events they put on to raise funds for the scholarship program!

I have rented rooms there that were nice and clean. Also I have taken my trailer and camped out there as-well. I enjoyed myself and had a good time playing horseshoes. Talked to a lot of friendly people that live in the community. The grounds and restrooms are always maintained. This is a nice place to relax and have fun. Thank you and your team for the hard work that you do to make customers happy.

Proverbs 6:30-32 King James Version 30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. I was a tenant here for 4 -1-2 years and I paid my rent on time and I was friendly to everyone. I minded my own business. Warning ⚠️ If you're a good woman who wants to start over after divorce as an empty nester, I recommend that you don't start over here. They are nice when you first get here but afterwards the landlord lady will treat you like a criminal if you ask for any assistance. Honestly if you would like to be treated fairly and treat people fairly to, don't stay here if you are a attractive, nice intelligent single woman. Because some of the female leaders here show signs of Jealousy big time. Even when you never give them a reason to be. Watch out, if you make the main lady mad she will kick you out quick and blame it on you. Be Aware pretty ladies minding your own business, Be careful... The sheriff was called on me as a scare tactic to get me out. She says it was because of me playing my music loud on my birthday but, I know that it was way more than that. I was not welcomed here period. Because, she never made me feel welcomed along with the her stepson with the blond hair and their family member who runs the community center.

As an update: I've been living in a house for the past year as I get ready for travel has my son is fixing my RV and doing some repairs. I wanted to make that clear. I can live in the house or I can live in the RV. To me it's fun to drive down to the beach from Apple Valley.. doesn't mean I'm homeless. I have a house I can live in as well. You can't judge anyone. The same goes can't judge a book by its cover. My son is helping me learn all about my small motorhome and we've gone several times to dump my black tank and gray tank and it's quick and easy service. I just don't like to make a comment to the people who talk about the full-time residences and on the being on the point of homelessness. Don't talk about something you don't know. I know several people that have a couple of million for retirement but they decided to drive a van conversion or small motorhome like me as my mother used to say sometimes the reason people have a million dollars is because they spend the money wisely while they were saving it. I chose to be a nomad and not pay all my money out an apartment as I about to begin my travels across the United States. I came from a family that lived in different countries we always traveled. And sometimes it was in a station wagon sometimes it was staying in hotels or on trains. It doesn't mean people are broke because they choose that lifestyle on vacations or permanently. I really resent the fact that when somebody says on the edge of homelessness solely because they choose to live in the vehicle and they're traveling in in a campground. Periodically to get away from heat and snow and they have a multi-million dollar house back east. Again don't judge what you don't know.

Hidden fees for everything, no one helps even though they say they are “ getting to it”, place is disgusting no on cleans the bathrooms have gross stuff all over them, kids toys are all over the place so you can’t drive without running them over. Just not worth the price.

We camp here once a year for an event we attend. The RV park is exceptionally clean. Always polite and responsive employees. The gated access is probably our favorite feature. We don't worry when leaving our 5th wheel as we attend our event.

Just came by to dump. Lots of dump stations to choose from. All of them clean and in good working order. It's been a while since I dumped, the fee is now $25. Not too bad.

Crowded with long-term lease residences on the edge of homelessness. They also make a buck at EVERY turn; If passing through, $25 to dump black/grey water tanks, $15 for every 50 gallons of fresh hose water fill. $1 to use their dumpsters (trash), $75 to spend the night with FHU. They also sell propane. But, it's poorly marked, and I could find it.

Long rich history over 100 years old (you can see the photos and read about it on site). Great place for short term or long term stays and rv services such as storage, dump station, tank fill, trash, and propane (best price in the area). They have a store onsite where you can get snacks and your basic needs. Quiet happy community with friendly residents and staff. LWC puts on a fall festival and Easter egg hunt that benefit scholarships for kids from the local high-school. Features amenities that can be reserved for private events.

This RV park is GATED. Arrived tired at 4:45 PM to a closed GATE, watched 4 people (some staff) within 100 feet of us look our way, but no one came over. Called the phone number you're told to call after hours at entrance and also listed on gate 3x, but no machine message and no one answered. ?? A camper punched in the code and came through the gate so we went as far as the office (50 feet) and were greeted by scowls and dirty looks as one of the 4 people approached looking very put out. I explained with a smile that we were looking for a site for the night and he stated we're CLOSED. For the season? No, they closed at 4 pm and he told us how to make the loop and leave. Now THAT'S customer service. Happy to spend our dollars elsewhere.

Spacious, safe, and clean!! The campsite was great. Staff was extremely nice, especially Jennifer and Jose. Inexpensive propane and laundry facilities as well. Will return.

A great place to store your toy hauler or RV if you frequent Johnson Valley or Stoddard Wells. The people that work there are the shining star. Outstanding folks work there. The only downside is the gate hours. If you decide to "go out to the desert with the RV" last minute or late in the day, you can't, because they close up early and you can't get your RV out. Otherwise, it's a great place to store your RV. I've never "lived" there, but as for storage it's hard to beat.

I have lived here for almost 4 yrs and This is by far the best RV site in the high desert. There have been power issues in the past bit these issues have been and will continue to be addressed. Plenty of nice people here and the park is well maintained. If you are looking to dump or need propane, best prices in town. They have storage and over night hook ups. You can even move in as a resident if space is available. I highly recommend it or I wouldn't have lived here so long.?????

Very large RV park. Family and pet friendly. Long or short stay. On- site laundry, play ground, comfortable cabins, community center and very large covered atrium. The covered atrium has many picnic tables, sink, bbq, and electrical outlets; great for family gatherings. The park is impeccably clean. Friendly staff.

They work hard at maintaining the place for the most part. They always have guys running around on golf carts working on stuff, they rake the dirt! I know this is probably a power company problem but I cannot recommend a place that cuts the power when you need it most (at 105 degrees). All the neighbors say it happens all the time. I work on a desktop comoputer in the camper and I've had to get a 300 dollar power supply with a battery to give me a moment to save my work when these random blackout occurs. Again, this may not be their fault. But if you need your A C working in 100°+ heat then you need to avoid this place.

Great place to stay with all the amenities that you can ask for. Private, clean and safe. A great place to lay your head when you are in town. Added bonus, you never know what beautiful guests might stop by your RV! This is actual footage at our RV.

This is my stop to and from Johnson valley, $5 for fresh water(50 gals) $20 to dump and $1 for 1 bag of trash. Last time I had been by, they were closed to public due to covid. Check in advance. Always friendly and never crowded.

I've waited several months so that my emotions would not weigh into this review because I was here for 6 months during the pandemic as a traveling nurse and it was the most stressful place i've ever lived. I say that because I thought on any given day I would be kicked out for any slight breach of park rules, etiquette or complaints from neighbors. Between the barbed wire, cameras and constant rounding of the "elderly blond woman" on her golf cart peering into EVERYTHING that you do in your campsite it felt more like a prison than an RV park. Many of the full-time retired folks do not want campers in their little park making noise, having campfires, playing their music, staying outside to watch stars etc. If the "elderly blond" warden doesn't catch you doing something then one of the trustees or residents will do so. I have two dogs and clean up after them fastidiously but i was followed several times by the "elderly blonde lady" making sure that i picked up after them and didn't tread into an "out of bounds area". Aside from playing my music too loud during the DAY I was a model camper yet I watched some of the full-timers break the rules fixing their vehicles, leaving their pets outside unattended, letting their cat roam the entire park etc. I watched people arrive in the park and for the first week or two they would sit outside in the evening talking, playing music etc but that was soon stifled by the powers that be. Don't even try to use the club house because the same group of people are in there EVERY NIGHT monopolizing the TV. While this park is safe and secure and most of the staff is friendly it is not a very welcoming place. If you can follow all of the dozens of rules to the letter, don't make noise, don't want to have fun, don't mind being scrutinized every second of every day and don't mind feeling like a prisoner then this place is for you. If you are a normal individual with a life, friends, hobbies or enjoy sitting outside then go elsewhere.

Bring of Mex/white I was racially profiled. On-site my first place was going to the office to get information. No staff was in the office. I decided to just drive once around the lot to get a view of the rental space. My intent was to stop back at the office before leaving to see if I can still get some information from staff. I was greeted by two elderly women apparently staff as they waved me down to stop. Before I was able to get any questions out I was told that I was racing through the property and that other renters and their spaces were complaining. No Such Thing occurred. I then informed the elderly staff female that I was trying to get some information a possibly renting in the near future. She was rude obnoxious and completely one-sided. She didn't take the time or the patience to hear anything that I was trying to express. My last words were I will not be interested in the near future nor will I give a good recommendation of this place. Her reply was "I don't care we don't need people like you". I'll admit it was hurtful but I kept a straight face and I drove off the property. The funniest thing was I heard great reviews about how friendly the staff was and how nice of a place this location was as well. I will admit the property and the location was very well up kept. But my experience was completely the opposite. I like to believe maybe the 2 elderly women were having a bad day. And I'm a fair person on giving things a second try. Maybe in the future when I visit the two elderly women would have retired by then. ?

We've only dumped here... Never camped here. But our experience has been good. The staff is always ready after a large desert event with extra people helping. They accept cards and will bring it all out to you in busy weekends. Their dump stations are set up nice. They have rinse hoses already attached. And they are pull through. We were able to get through with our 20ft Ram 3500 +38' toy hauler.

This place is OK for a short stay but The Front Dest Women don’t have anything to do!!! and will comment on every wrong move you do here in their Dirt Lots!!! Their reason for not walking in the dirt ... you might trip... excuse me?! I’m not old or senile. Rude is an understatement with them. Another problem we had here has been the constant smell from their sewers. I can plug up my nose but I’m over it and ready to go.
