I called and told the guy that my transmission control module needed to be replaced, and he said that he recommends that I get my transmission rebuilt for $5,000, mind you he hasn’t even seen my car yet to diagnose it. Horrible service, I do not recommend this place unless you want to get ripped off
Octavio has been my mechanic for all my cars for over 10 years. I moved from Hemet 7 years ago, and I return to Hemet Transmission twice a year for routine maintenance because I know my car is being serviced by an honest and ethical mechanic.
This place is a joke took my car in to replace a shift solenoid thry vsllef me and said my radiator was leaking so I had them replaced it as well picked up my car got almost all the way home and I noticed it was getting hot so I turned off the car sence it's had 3 motors installed and didn't want to chance it do I checked it and there was almost no antifreeze took a half gallon of water called him pissed off he told me to bring it back in he told me the next day it failed the pressure test had a blown head gasket I told him what was he gonna do about it that the motor was new nhe said for me to ad blue devil that's all he would do they ruined my car
This business is the best bar none in the Hemet area for auto repair. I have been coming here for the last 15 years with both of our cars. You can't find a more reliable auto repair anywhere. The owner Octivio is honest and friendly. He and Chris (employee) are very helpfull. Please try them out.
Hello out there, My experience with this establishment is amazing. They rebuilt my automatic transmission and got my a/c working . It has not worked right since I owned the vehicle. But they took care of that and my transmission and my ac are working like I have just left the dealership with a new car.
The owner is a very Honest and professional person. He stands by his word and does what he says. The price he gave me to complete the work was very reasonable and he stands by his word. if your mechanics belly is hanging from the underside of his shirt you know hes a sleezy guy making a quick buck off unsuspecting people as soon as i started explaining exactly whats wrong with my car tubby sent me on my way.
I went in for an oil change and was able to go the same day. Ed was nice I appreciate his recommendation and service. I also went back and got my AC fixed with Octavio, he was able to help and I'm finally happy I have my AC working again. Great service and affordable prices.

Cool guys, terrible diagnosis. They told me compressor was bad, bought another one and they installed it then told me it was something electrical. Paid $370 for the install and about $150 for the diagnosis before that. I took it home and found out I just needed a fuse. Wasted money on a compressor that didn’t need to be purchased. On the upside, I have a new compressor lol
My Chevy truck suddenly had late, hard shifting. Took it in and the next day it was back to a silky smooth shift. Very happy with the service and clear communications from Hemet Transmission.

Got my car fixed today and am pleased with the work had a electrical problem., got my car back in a timely manner and she work's grate, and the price was grate omg any other place would have charged way more then I could afford, thank you guys for fixing my baby, I love her and don't trust anyone else but you ! :~)
After not being able to figure out what the issue with my truck was my dad referred me to Octavio and he found my issues and handled them professionally and in a timely manner. After I had a hiccup with my brakes a couple days later (a faulty wheel hub I personally installed) brought it back and had it fixed before the end of the day. I won’t go anywhere else. Great service and great prices and they have a great team. Thank you all.
We are from out of town, staying in Hemet at an RV Park. Our problem was a squealing serpentine belt but the local dealership couldn't take us for an entire month. We found Hemet Transmission Auto Care on line with good reviews so we called them and they fixed the problem early the next day. We appreciated the fast service since we had no other transportation. We were informed of the diagnosis and cost before repairs were done and were shown the bad parts before they were discarded. We were very happy with the quality of service & cost.
I found my mechanic!!! Ed is very organized, communicative. He doesn't do any work until he talks to you. And he let's you know the price. There's no surprises at the end where it's like "Oh we had to charge a little more because we found this...", no none of that. I found this place because he had the highest rating. Now I see why. He has had the same mechanics working for him for 15 years, which says alot and compliments this place. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, reliable and most importantly...HONEST mechanic. His shop has the SNAP Finance program, that allows to pay your bill in 90 days if approved, which we did. This was my first time going with Ed, and it definitely won't be the last. The facility is very clean which is unusual in it self for most Transmission shops...I use to inspect many auto repair facilities for EMWD back in the day & this is the exception to the rule. They came in on time and on budget. We were able to get back on the road when promised and have a nation wide parts & service guarantee. Can't say enough and highly recommend them!

Best auto shop overall I've ever used in 25 years of owning cars! Have brought my truck in multiple times now and always gotten extremely fast service and solid repairs.
Owner Ed has always been on-site and has been very accommodating and helpful. Repairs each time were completed faster then expected. All issues were fixed the first time and stayed fixed. Prices were fair and reasonable. Shop never did anything shady. Never did anything underhanded like find "extra problems" and truck never had any "new" issues show up after taking it home.
Good warranties were included on all the major repairs I had done. Biggest repair was having a replacement transmission put in an older Explorer and it was done in just half a days time and truck has run great since.
Shop was able to correctly diagnose and repair in one quick visit an ongoing problem that another shop couldn't get right after three visits. Only went to other shop as I had been out of area for a while. Next time will wait and just come here!
Amazing service got my car fixed the same day gave me honest answers and price was better then I expected. Friendly and detailed everything they were going to do and what was done. My car wouldn't accelerate over 30 battery light was on and the abs light. After they ran diagnostic they called and said it was connector to my alternator and could order the part today. Car was done by 1pm-2pm. And since the car was repaired there I got the diagnostic fee waived which was a bonus.
When our Chrysler 300 started having transmission issues we took it to Hemet Transmission & Auto Care Center for a free diagnostic and estimate. We needed the car fixed quickly so we could get to work and they determined the problem quickly and had it repaired the next day. Price was reasonable enough and they did good work. The transmission shifts like brand new.
It's hard to find a good auto mechanic that you can trust; Ed is one of those guys. he prides himself and wins customers with his honesty and his integrity, and most of all- he is great with cars. "This is the guy here!"...I won't go anywhere else for good service and for great deals with repairs. He worked on my 2000 Mountaineer and now it runs like new. His shop looks clean compare to others, very professional, friendly, and gives his customers good price with repair, and he does follow up with his repairs to insure customer's satisfaction. Been coming here for almost a decade. Ed is the most trustworthy mechanic you'll find. Have had two transmissions fixed within my family that have rode smoothly for many years now. Although I moved an hour away, I towed my car 70 miles to him because I know he'll get it done right.
