Worst place to recycle they rip you off! Avoid recycling here!! Rude and unorganized. They say they accept different materials but then they dont. Just unorganized, would only recycle here if it was the last place in hemet/ san Jacinto tbh I would just drive to another city before going here!

Pretty organized, was shorted $1 on the payout, so count you payout when he gives it to you

It was ok but they don't pay out for metals , so I had to keep metal I still need to find a place that will pay me for it .

There are always plenty of buns and they get you in and out in due time.

Best place to go for CRV. The coupon on their website boosts your aluminum CRV price up to an extra 20 cents/lb, and on Wednesdays aluminum is $2/lb. The guys are friendly and helpful.

Always great folks working there. Easy to get in and out. Reasonable refund amounts.

The don't take cardboard. Even though they are the first place that comes up when you search for cardboard recycling in the Hemet area. Staff was nice enough, but inconvenience of driving out there only to find they don't do that anymore. I think they probably used to.

It says best prices. That's BS...i Go up and ask what's the price for Brigt and Shiny copper $2.50 everywhere else. $3.00plus .. definitely not the best prices.. then they ask me how many lbs i have ... like that shouldn't matter how much lbs i have .. the price of copper is the price .. this place should be shut down for False advertising

Unless you recycle when this place opens ,don’t waste your time!! 5pm is posted when they close!! Someone should let them know that 4:30pm or anytime before 5pm is considered open!! Idk why they are closed 30 minutes before on a Tuesday. They must not need the business… this is why I don’t come here and will tell others to NOT use this places for recycling!! You are jeopardizing the integrity of your business by cutting corners, for example, closing early to save a few cents and not pay your employees for that extra half hour, is it that much that you’re gonna be saving for a half an hour of going home early on a Tuesday!! Cash for cans recycling is even worse as they were also closed 20 minutes before!! Not all of us are going to come to terms with mediocre quality of service!! Even when it comes to recycling! No disrespect this is manly a 3rd party opinion!! Good day!

I came here a year ago and had over 70 lbs of bottles and a few cans. I weighed each bag at home before I came. They said I had 48 lbs. I told the guy, "No I had over 70 lbs, I weighed them" he looked at the scale again and then told the cashier I had 58 lbs. the cashier called me over and paid me the correct price but was grumpy about it.

Menlo Recycling is a recycling center that aims to provide a convenient and eco-friendly solution for individuals and businesses looking to dispose of their recyclable materials. While they do have some positive aspects, such as employing homeless individuals to assist with their operations, there are several areas where Menlo Recycling falls short. One concerning issue is their disregard for scheduled hours of operation. It has been observed that Menlo Recycling often closes its gates 10 to 15 minutes earlier than the designated closing time. This can be frustrating for customers who rely on the center's services and make an effort to arrive before closing. It is important for businesses to honor their scheduled hours to maintain trust and reliability. Another questionable practice at Menlo Recycling is the behavior of their staff. It has been reported that some employees stand at the gate and wave customers away, even before closing time. While this may be done with good intentions, it can be perceived as unprofessional and disrespectful towards customers who have arrived on time. Furthermore, safety concerns have been raised regarding Menlo Recycling's operations. It has been observed that forklift drivers often speed around the premises without wearing seatbelts. This not only puts the driver at risk but also raises concerns about the overall safety standards maintained by the recycling center. Transparency is key in any business, and unfortunately, Menlo Recycling falls short in this regard as well. Customers have reported that the center does not provide information about the weight of their recyclables when asked. This lack of transparency can be frustrating for customers who would like to know the impact of their recycling efforts. Additionally, when customers inquire about the calibration of Menlo Recycling's machines, the staff seems uninformed or evasive. This lack of knowledge or willingness to address such a basic question raises doubts about the center's commitment to accuracy and quality control. In conclusion, Menlo Recycling has some areas that require improvement. Their inconsistent adherence to scheduled hours, unprofessional behavior, safety concerns, lack of transparency regarding recyclable weights, and evasive responses to calibration inquiries are issues that need to be addressed. Menlo Recycling has the potential to be a reliable and efficient recycling center, but they must make concerted efforts to rectify these shortcomings and provide a better experience for their customers.

Place is a total rip off. They gave me .05cents for clean aluminum awning posts. And for #1 copper tubing they gave me #2 wire. Place will change what you have to whatever they feel like. Total freaking rip off. Beware if you take anything there they are dirty. RIP YOU OFF QUICK!!!

While they are great with ease of access and generally fast and pleasant, their rates are lower than their competition, Especially on cans n bottles. Overall I would still reccomend them.

If you want to be racially profiled and accused of lying and loitering go to this place and have the best time of your life. Believe me I had a great time being called a liar and laughed at and watched by the short man who works at the money desk! For tapping on my window while I’m talking to my disabled mother on the phone. What do I have to lie for about going to recycle with visible bags of bottles in my trunk and what person just sits in a parking lot for fun in a drug addiction filled neighborhood and baby skid row? I think not. Won’t be coming here again unless I have my husband with me who can also translate the snide comments about me! Because thank goodness a good person translated the rude comments they made about me.

As a long time customer, I felt it was time to post a quick review. My experience at this location has been without incident. I've always found their prices to be fair, and even when they are busy, the lines move quickly. If that's what your looking for, this is the spot.

I use to come here regularly. One time I tried another location and noticed there was a major difference in how much I got paid. I will definitely not be returning to this location not even as a last resort. There was nearly a $70 difference in what I was suppose to had gotten. The other recycle place on esplanade will get my business from now on.

I was just at this location. Their sign says one thing's their employees say another. Sign clearly indicates that they pay for stainless steel metal products. Employees say that they do not buy metal. RIP OFF!! Low cash out on aluminum as well!!

We ended up coming to Menlo recycling because we showed up to find that the recycling place on Esplanade in San Jacinto is no longer excepting CRV for bottles, plastics, and aluminum. Menlo recycling is only about a mile away. Lots of space for cars to pull in, and plenty of baskets available to unload recyclables. Line moved pretty quickly. Not sure how the prices are in relation to other places.
