HAVING HARD TIME TO FIND PARTS FOR NV 3500 AND THE DONT HAVE BUT WERE VERY HELPFULL AND WILLING TO HELP FINDING THE PARTS APRECIATE THE EXTRA MILE ON THEIR BEHALF
Dude I talked to over the phone sounded like he hated his job.. asked him how many switches on the window switch I was trying to purchase. he says IDK I’m looking at a computer screen. And hung up.. never again I’ll go or call lol..
I had ordered a part i really needed they told me it will come in 2-3 days it been 2 weeks and nothing but i did get the full refund so thats good i guess
Very good experience. Looking for parts on line, I found that Ajax had all 4 pieces I needed, and at a reasonable price.
Called and talked to Junior. He was very professional and courteous. He checked to make sure they still had the parts in stock, and even sent me pictures of the parts, so I could see what I was getting before driving 130 miles one way.
I called back and told them I was coming, so they could begin removing the parts off the car. And that's what they did.
Other than the 4 hour round trip, which was very worth it, everything was easy, and went exactly as planned. (pretty impressive these days).
Those people who expect red carpet treatment from a wrecking yard, should go to the dealer.
Thanks Ajax for a job well done..........Larry at Clarks Autos and Trucks
Very rude, didn't even get a chance to explain my situation, was shot down immediately without knowing any details on the matter. Would not reccomend. Unreliable service, they call themselves a junkyard, but they think they are autozone or a dealership. Rude!
Says open at 8am have called for the last 20 mins or so no answer and when they did they hung up and said nothing to me . Pretty sad no one had customer service anymore
The owner was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful in finding a solution to fixing my intercooler in my Mustang. He personally came out and took a look at my car and assessed right then and there what was wrong with it. He located the part in inventory for a price that was very reasonable and was able to get my car back to me that same day running better then ever! I will definitely be going back.
Hello. I'm the owner of Ajax Auto in Coachella. Mr Martin Maraz must be confusing us with another auto wrecker as we have no sales person with a blond pony tail. We are in a business that most customers come to us only when they are NOT happy. They are spending money to fix something their, husband, wife, daughter, son, employee ect broke, wrecked, damaged ect. It takes longer to remove the part from a vehicle. They are used to at the parts house where it is on the shelf in a box. They may want just a molding or an emblem but by removing that part, say a grille emblem from a grille ruins the value or sale of the grille. That so, we may not sell the emblem even if we have it. Some parts cost more than they may have new as the labor cost to remove parts may be cost prohibitive. The cost of labor is why we have a 35.00 min price. Customer says a new part cost 10.00 and you want 35.00 but he only wants to pay 5.00. We have to politely decline the sale which upsets customers. We try hard to service our customers needs. We thank you for your patronage.
I Don't know how these guys are getting some reviews but I went here to get my car fixed because it wouldn't start and They did a great job and my car is running like a champ.
I have bought 3 vehicles from them, plus wheels and tires for another vehicle. Very good experience with them. Gave me a warranty on the vehicles (3 months I think), had an issue with alignment, they fixed it. Had another issue with a broken spring, they fixed it. Vehicles have salvage title but it's a good deal to me.
After reading this reviews, I was reluctant to go to this place, but I needed a pulley for my power steering pump and the part had been discontinued. I ended up leaving my pump at Ajax overnight so they could look for the right pulley in the morning. When I left, i was really worried i was going to be screwed.
I was completely wrong. Not only did they find the part, they took off the old pulley (not always easy to do) and installed the replacement one without a charge. All three of the guys were respectful, even when I was rude because i felt like i couldn't trust them because of these reviews.
Big lesson learned - You can't always trust online reviews from finicky people that expect red carpet service at a junkyard. These guys were great. I'm not surprised now that they had two people buy cars from them on the spot within the 20 minutes i was there.
