Brent helped me out with finding a sunroof for my vehicle when I called on 5/28. He said he could have it pulled off and I could pick it up tomorrow considering the distance I needed to go, picked it up today, instantly greeted by Brent and promised it was tested. He responded that nothing goes not tested and if it fails, it’s not sold. I’ll for sure be coming back for more business
The gentleman that answered my call was helpful, he explained they had my part but he was busy so it'd be quiet some time before he could go and pull it, I told him no problem. I arrived and realized this was a sort of pick and pull establishment. I spoke with the man who answered my call and told him I could go pull the parts myself if he'd lend me the tools, now here's were most auto repair, parts, or anything that has to do with wrench establishments look at me as a obvious girly girl kinda of woman and kind of chuckle and say they'll do it for me, not know that wrenching on engines is my passion, they just about blatantly dismiss me and any such suggestions, but not here! I love the fact that he said sure lemme grab what I think you'll need, gave me the tools a map and sent me on my way! The map was helpful, the yard was laid out well, and the unbiased gender neutral atmosphere was freaking amazing! Thank you Desert Truck and Auto you guys Rock!!!!
Inventory isn't all that great. Custoner service is satisfactory. I must say all the wrecking yards in that area have been closed so that's the only one open. Being that there inventory is low you should call them before driving out there.
My GMC truck would not pass smog because I had a K&N intake system (gotta love California). Mike's Smog suggested I go to Desert Truck and Auto to get the correct part. Darren helped me out and sold me the correct part so I was able to get my truck Smogged. Thanks
An Employee there told me a rim for my car would definitely fit on it and when i got home to put on rim it didnt even fit. And they have a no return policy which is ridiculous. I would suggest to try a different place.
They are a junk yard with unrealistic prices. If I wanted to pay that much for used parts I would just spend the extra couple dollars and buy them brand new.
As a restorer and mechanic for many area friends I have needed quite a variety of parts in the last 23 years.

This Place Is Awful. Their Customer Service Is Crap. They Treat You Like If You Are Stupid! I Came Here Because It Had A Good Review. When I Got There Right Of The Back They Ignore You. The Sales Person Daren (Or Whatever His Name Is) Was Just Rude Over All. I Do Not Recommend This Place.
Every time I need parts I think of Desert Truck and Auto! I am totally willing to drive from Desert Hot Springs to get what I need from them. Not only do they find the parts for my car but, they are so much cheaper than anywhere else. All this while having the most helpful men search out my parts and calling me back to let me know they found them. I highly recommend Desert Truck and Auto!
