The Sierra Garage Team is awesome. They figured out what was wrong with my Toyota and fixed it. The dealership had it prior to them and charged me over 3k to "fix it" in reality they replaced my water pump and never fixed the hard starting issue. Mike charged me next to nothing for his service. Honest and fair you don't find this qualities very often.
Mike at sierra garage was able to fit me in for an appointment same day. Had just arrived to the area after a three hour drive and had a service light turn on in my truck. I called Sierra garage and explained I needed someone to check it out. They said come on in sometime today and we will check it out. As soon as I arrived I felt like I was the main priority, they looked at my service light and were able to put my concerns to rest. If I were local to the area this is were I would take my vehicles for work and to get service work done. Thank you Sierra Garage!
Mike and at sierra garage is a very honest, reliable, reasonably priced and skilled mechanic. He’s replaced my radiator, brake booster, and master cylinder so far. I have tried ALL of the mechanics in Portola and Sierra Garage is definitely my go-to🙌
My car recently broke down 20 minutes away from my campsite, unpredictable situation. I just out money into my car to get the A/C fixed and I wasn’t expecting this to happen. My tow truck driver took my car to the BEST car shop he knows and he was not wrong. I don’t even live in this area and Mike took great car of my car and myself. He started off with small cheap fixes to see what is exactly wrong with my car and he actually got it up and running again. I pay triple for this kind of service in my home town, and they aren’t even as nice as Mike. This is the shop you want your car to go to for any problems. Thank you so much Mike, if I’m ever in the area again with car troubles, you’re the first on my radar.
Mike and his team are a pleasure to deal with and I am very grateful to find a mechanic I can trust and bring my vehicles to. He repaired my f150 and I will be back whenever I have any other vehicle issues.
Our car was accidentally towed there, we asked could they fix it. In a rude way they said no, and told my wife to bring her shovel. I hope they receive the same treatment if & when they're in need.......

Mike is a super nice guy, and he knows his stuff. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, and these guys are definitely that. Fixed the problem quick, didn't overcharge, and they were super friendly. I won't go anywhere else... FIVE STARS!
Was at a campground and had a problem with my truck. Called Mike he told me to bring it in the next morning. I brought it in and he had me out of there to finish enjoying my vacation in no time at all. While waiting, I heard him talking to other customers and realized he really knows his stuff. Mike squeezed us in and diagnosed and fixed our overheating van while on vacation when we thought we were going to have trouble getting home on time. If you have the chance, don’t pass Go, don’t collect $200, just go straight to Mike. He’s great!
I had my 04 silverado towed in because my key cylinder finally decided she was not turning for me. Mike was nice, professional and very knowledgeable about my chevy! I felt that she was being well taken care of! I will recommend him in a heart beat!!

Had amazing experience in dealing with Sierra garage. First day camping, van decided not to start. Not a great way to start a non stressful camping trip! Was in desperate need of diagnostic eval. Called Sam at Sierra and luckily he was able fit me in to scope. Bad battery terminals prevented a basic jump. They quickly diagnosed and completed the fix in a few hours. Sam was extremely honest and accomodating and got me back on the road so I could finish my vacation with little stress. Great experience and great customer service. A+ for Sierra garage. Life savers....
Mike was great! He was really busy, but managed to squeeze me in to help fix a vacuum leak/idle problem on my CJ7. He knew his way around the CJ, and got me running smooth again. I would definitely recommend this shop.
