Everything went well initially upon getting the car, they took a little long to get back to me sometimes, but not too big of a deal. The real problem is that the car has been a giant headache in the 3 or so months I've had it. I've already put around 2,000$ into fixing things. Had to replace all 4 brake pads and rotors already, the cooling fan and all of its parts, the radiator and now something else is wrong with it. Life was somehow easier without having a car. I know its a gamble getting a used car, but still so many things needing fixing so quick is ridiculous
I have had hands down the best communication, responsiveness and honesty experience at Westminster MotorCars. Each e-mail was packed full of useful information, additional photos and documentation. When you communication with them you are speaking with a real person and not some auto-response robot you didn't sign up for.
If I have it my way I will only buy from them in the future, I can't say enough about them compared to anyone else on the market.
I was looking for a dependable car for my daughter. Found a Honda Civic at this location. Kenny was great. Very honest and no pressure. Answered all my questions and made buying the car easy . I would definitely recommend this place! Especially Kenny!!
The guys at WMC are wonderful! They auto brokered an awesome lease deal which saved me lots of money and time. I gave them the specs to the car I wanted and they found the car within hours. They also provided great advice on whether I should purchase or lease based on my current and future circumstances. The whole process was smooth, clear cut, and fast. They also offered having the car delivered directly to my residence. Definitely recommend trying them out for Auto Brokerage!
My particular experience did not go as well as most of the reviews on here. The salesperson Kenny was really nice and the business itself is very friendly. The cars are kept in a neat and clean warehouse. I scheduled an appointment after work and arrived on time.
Kenny was speaking to another buyer when I had arrived. Introduced myself and asked for a test drive. Before the test drive started the other buyer that had left wanted to put a security deposit. I was then told I wasn't allowed to test drive it but after a few words to the other buyer I was on my way.
Car was smooth, everything worked. I left hoping the buyer would back out. Buyer backed out the next day, I ended up getting the vehicle inspected at Lexus. Lexus found a few common maintenance items that were of no concern to me.
However, Lexus did find these items:
-Aftermarket intake that did not have carb sticker
-Leaking and seeping rear shocks
-Wheels not matching stock OEM specs, spacers were needed to clear rear brake caliper
Intake: $700 to replace to spec and be able to smog it at a reputable smog station
Rear shocks: $657 for the pair (Kenny did agree to replace rear shocks during negotiation) + labor
-OEM replacement wheels and tires: $1000-1700
Kenny would not budge on the list price and insisted the items above less the shocks were not to be considered. Wheelspacers are technically a safety concern and a non California compliant intake can cause problems with smog later if I don't have an on hand replacement.
Again, they're really nice people but a tad bit unreasonable. Kenny even helped set up the Lexus inspection and dropped it off, picked it up, and negotiated $39 off the service invoice that I paid. Just couldn't go the extra mile to make the purchase right.
Daniel and the other guys here were very helpful as ever, he fully and very satisfactory explained me and guided me through all the process of getting my new used vehicle. Keep the good work guys!
Be very careful with the cars that you purchase from here. They sold me a car with bad motor mounts and even though they payed and replaced of one of the mounts it only temporarily fixed the issue and the vibration problem I had resurfaced again after a week of the supposed repair. Then I come to find out that the car needs two tires and 4 shocks/struts shortly afterwards. Customer service is so so but nonetheless this was my worst car buying experience so far, they wasted a lot of my time and leave much to be desired as far as repairs went.
This is by far the best car dealership I’ve ever been to. I wouldn’t even call them a dealership, more like a warehouse that sells cars. The owners were very helpful and welcomed us like as if we were family. I’ve never had an experience like that ever before. We ended up buying a 2010 Honda Pilot from this place. It was exactly what we wanted in a car and to top it off, it was offered to us at a great price (below KBB value) I truly believe that they’re there to just sell you a car that meets your needs and not pressure you to buy something more expensive and that you don't really need. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for the same experience as I encountered. Thanks again Westminster motor cars.
