Great place to bring aluminum, glass and plastics. Does not take cardboard. Had a bunch of broken down boxes and absolutely nowhere to put them - none of the local recycling places take cardboard. Had to use a grocery store dumpster to throw away.
Google Maps says this location closes at 5pm but when I came in at 4:34pm two guys worked here said it would close in 3 minutes and they don't accept any more recycles. When I told them it is still 25 more minutes they hesitated to accept my recycles but asked me to stand under the rain for 15 minutes and not answer any single question I had. Finally they weighed my recycles and gave me only $8.52 while I should get $16 even based on number of small water bottles I had (5 cents each as posted). It is so frustrating so I will never go to this place again.
These guys have a great rep for customer service - because they're the best I've had for ten years of doing this. They're very helpful. And clean and fast!, well organized and speedy payment in cash.
Today was my first time coming to this recycling center and I had a great experience they were really helpful and honest people this will be my recycling center for now on .
Please be aware! I called before coming to this recycling place. They told me they would take both weight and count (bottle by bottle). When I arrived they told me only 50 bottles are allowed to count. The rest will be weighted.
10/21/2023 - With Ponce in FV gone and OCC closed due to staff shortage, I luckily found Recycle Now behind the supermarket plaza. Quick and easy, no hassles. Just sort everything into different mesh baskets, but keep in mind that due to the open mesh, if you have loose caps, they'll all fall out into the ground.
Good to go. Recycling there, I have never had a wait, Be sure to check business hours and days. Polite workers. Have now cemented the drive and provide wheeled bins to move your items. This is great! Now it's the cleanest place, but you are outdoors in the sun. A covered lot would be a dream. I recommend this business.
I know it was Tuesday afternoon, but it was pretty slow so I was in and out. Sadly I didn't get the names of the 2 guys working but they were super friendly and very helpful. Excellent service. Behind the strip mall. I'd recommend this place for plastic and cans.
Owner is very fair and friendly. His workers work hard and are always there to help me out with getting baskets when they are busy. The fact that you guys are open on Sundays and even holidays is a bonus!! Keep up the great work!!
I love this place the guys are honest which is hard to come by but I got a real problem with you guys having it saying open on your site and you guys always close whenever it rains I don’t get why you guys got a clothes with it even sprinkles but please if it’s going to be closed say it’s closed on your site so I don’t come down here and run out of gas
The guy who answers the phone is very kind as well as the guys in the back. I never been here and it was hard to find at first but it actually behind the shopping center. He explained well the process and it's easy and fast service.
